mwilson - I've always had 24 day cycles and routinely ovulate on day 13/14, so 10/11 day LP. Had that when I conceived my two boys and it didn't cause any issues with them.

Girlswaylondon what was your plan of attack this cycle again? Was it one attempt at pos opk or are you going to start e4d now (so three full days between) and ditch the opks? Sorry I'm sleep deprived and struggling to remember my own name [emoji51]

Well I had two faint lines on clear blue tests so managed to get a frer and it's completely white! I'm so cross with clear blue!! I'll post one of the pics so you can all see. Taken within 5 minutes too so shouldn't be evaps

Mummy2boys that's heartbreaking [emoji174] such a decent line too [emoji34] I'd be sending a complaint with this pic big time and giving them what for!!!! I've seen similar to this with someone a couple months ago that went through the same thing. Wish I could remember who it was [emoji848] They were getting pos on these and negative on others. I really hope in this case the frer is wrong but I wouldn't be getting my hopes up [emoji22]

Thanks pbn. I'm pretty annoyed, my temp went up this morning and spotting stopped so I was getting excited! I've crashed down with a bump now though [emoji17] I'm gonna try the smep you explained earlier next cycle, can't keep going on like this month after month it's really disheartening [emoji17]

Mummy, yes I stare too. I even go back hours later and then the next day :eek:. I'm definitely upping attempts next month. May not do smep, but maybe every other or two days in between around the fertile days. It is definitely disheartening every month.
Mummy that's a very clear line. I had problems with those tests before but they dried out. Never kept the blue colour AND your temp has gone up??!?! So frustrating fx still tho

I think I'm 12 dpo. It's weird! Two tests did exactly the same, the lines came up straight away but I've done two frers and both are completely white! I'm going to send a strongly worded email to clear blue! My lp was always 10 or 11 days but last month it was 14 and it looks like this month is similar. Does anyone know if taking b vitamins changes your cycle? That's the only thing I'm doing differently [emoji848]

Mummy- thats so strange!!! I've had that happen on 1 blue dye test before, but 3?! That just seems cruel! I hope you get your BFP soon! Pbn suggested the smep for me too! That's what we did this cycle so i will let everyone know how it goes!

Can anyone help with this? Maybe this isn’t very helpful. However I tested at the beginning of this week and had a faint, but there line and as of today no lines. Is that possible for ovulation to occur THAT quickly or is it possible to have a surge and then get a positive OPK later in the month?

Eugene, I’ve had that where I just wasn’t testing early enough. I think I was catching the tail-end of my surge. Also, there is something to testing every single day at the same time, 2 different times. I was missing my surges and then went to 2x day and finally caught them!!
BBB, headaches and heartburn are my only 2 signs for early pregnancy. [emoji6]
Mummy, cruel tests indeed. I’d definitely stay away from those altogether. I do the .88 ones from Walmart and have had lots of luck with those. If I’m just getting a faint, I usually follow up with a digital. It’s amazing how final the actual words are.

Eighme what time are you testing? Are you restricting fluids and holding prior to testing? The ideal time for most people is to test between 1-3pm then follow up with another between 7-9pm if you're testing twice. You can go from a stark negative opk to a pos in two days or get a build up. Everyone is different. Without temping its impossible to know whether you've oed or not...

So i had a chemical pregnancy last cycle. Starting bleeding exactly one week after my due AF. Have been pretty good at my OPKs since I started bleeding, knowing it may be anytime that I would ovulate. Had some strong not quite positives early on and didn’t think much of them since I never got a true positive. Had 3 true positives in a row for the past few days and thought I’d test hcg just in case I ovulated right after I miscarried. So I have 2 faint positives with mid-day testing. Is this serious? It is possible to have heavy bleeding when pregnant and be pregnant the entire time. You can have an SCH or lose a twin. This actually happened to me personally. My concern is that your tests would probably be darker if that was the case but I agree with Mommy that I'd consider going in for a beta to see what the number says.
Other option is that the pregnancy ended but some tissue was left behind, but that is usually not the case with a chemical.

Eugene... Eighme... same thing, almost! They sound similar. That might be an issue too. This is my first month at an actual attempt and I hadn’t ever tried or tracked ovulation before. I thought my predictor would be pretty spot on because it’s always predicting my periods to the day correctly. But, maybe not so with ovulation! Eighme almost all dip opks recommend not using fmu and not to test prior to 11am. The most widely recommended time frame to catch your surge is between 1-3pm and if your urine is too diluted by fluids then it will affect your result, hence the fluid intake restriction for 2-3 hours prior and holding for at least 2 hours. Give it go now if you like (depending of course what time it is where you are) or wait until tomorrow. If you have missed your surge this cycle then can I recommend you try the Clearblue dual hormone digis next cycle. They specifically use fmu so there is no holding or restricting fluids involved. Read the instructions that will tell you what cd to begin testing on. Yeah. I tested until I got 2 consecutive negative tests. If I do some assumptions based on my calendar, I “could” be 9dpo today. IF I ovulated right after those negative tests. I think I’ll wait 2 days, test with FMU and go from there. We’ll see. This would be our 3rd child conceived in an unexpected way. [emoji6]Quote:

Mummy2boys there is the possibility that you're only 9dpo so af may be 1-3 days away? Maybe? Next cycle can I suggest you keep doing opks for the week following your first positive just to be on the safe side... Also it may be worth giving e3d (so every 72 hours, two full days between bds) a go, plus an extra attempt at pos opk before attempting SMEP. Keep doing the e3d for the week following pos opk just in case. So as an example bd cd8, cd11, cd14, cd17, cd20, cd23 and just add in the extra attempt wherever your pos opk falls eg cd15 etc OR if it falls on a scheduled day then dtd the following day maybe? Something to think about anyway. You could even stretch the bds further out to e4d (so three full days between) eg cd8, cd12, cd16, cd20, cd24 plus extra at pos opk if you prefer to try that first? If that doesn't work go onto e3d plus extra attempt as described above and if that fails then go straight to SMEP from there?

Mummy how many dpo are you? Swaying made my lp go from 12 days to 14 in the last two months. This time it's back at 12 days. Really strange swaying effects.

I've pretty much dropped all the swaying stuff now except I'm vegetarian now and take fibre. I still long for a girl but the urge for a baby ( any baby!) is strong now so time to get cracking [emoji23]
