Got an antibiotic. Really didn't want one in case it upsets babys tummy, but I can't look after a small human if I'm sick so I will take it.

In 2 days, the 27th, she is going to be three months and that makes me sad. All in two months, she’s laughed out loud, smiles constantly, outgrown newborn clothes, discovered her hands, makes it known when she wants something, or if I’m doing something the wrong way, and has absolutely turned my life into a dream. Ahhh mommy I love her!! I'm so glad you mentioned the 2-3 hour feeds, everyone always makes out their baby sleeps through from early on. My dd5 didn't sleep all night without bf until we stopped it altogether when she was almost 2 years old! I thought it was just my babies who wanted feeding all night :)

No they didn't which is another thing I hate- being told to give them a bottle so they will sleep :(
I actually bottle Fed 4 of mine and they did indeed sleep through sooner but I'm not going to start using formula when I don't need to
I feel the same way, I bottle fed my first two, and prefer nursing. Don’t let anyone bully you into a bottle. Emmalyn won’t hardly take a bottle, but once in a blue moon for my mom.Quote:

This little man even refuses a dummy(pacifier) which is strange, I'm still trying to get dd5 to give hers up at night!

I didn’t even bother with Emmalyn with a pacifier, because my two little boys drive me bonkers constantly searching for theirs. Sometimes I’m tempted when she is grumpy. Today when we were out and nothing would console her today, getting her a pacifier.
I haven’t, but I do pray for every day for her to soon have a healthy baby girl.

They stick an iv in a vein in their arm and get a couple tubes of blood out to test and see if they are low on iron and if they’ve been exposed to lead. An unnecessary test, that I’m going to refuse when she’s 9 months.Quote:

jut found this board, was still checking the old one :) today is a year since i left Australia and went to Cyprus putting all our savings on the line to have a go at gender selection ivf, i got lucky and she's the best sister that my boys could ask for even though all she does is sleep, eat smile and giggle he he Attachment 40638 congrats on the new babies that have been born and keep the pics of our babies coming I love seeing the updates :)
