Hey my husband and I got boys (except the first one!) with fat on our tummies. :)
I am not a fan of maca. It has mixed evidence about how it sways, and we have had some strange experiences with it.
The apps are not always accurate. I don't think the moon does anything at all beneficial for swaying anyway.

We are drinking alkaline water and its ph is 8.8. I heard is good for organism, and this one is the healthiest water in our region. But i also drink lemon water (just lemon and water) but then its ph is low. Am i doing something wrong?
Usual water here is about 5-6 ph.
It makes me confused, how can two different drinks (different phs) have the same effect on organism? What of these two should i drink?

It's because the acid-alkaline diets don't really work.
Everything you eat and drink goes down into your stomach where it mixes with stomach acid that has a pH that is super low. Then it goes into your intestines where it's mixed with alkaline fluids your body makes and the pH goes up again.
Nothing you eat and drink affects the pH of your body.
I let you guys do lemon water for people who believe in pH stuff and because drinking water helps you stay hydrated and make lots of EWCM, but I don't believe in it at all. Supposedly the "science" is that some low pH things turn to high pH in your body, but you're quite right that doesn't make any sense.
What is happening with swaying is that high nutrients = more boys. It isn't really pH. A lot of high nutrient foods are high pH, so we can use them for our blue sway, and if you believe in pH or in nutrients, it is all good. :)

I will continue drinking both, it really makes me feel good, hydrated i guess. I believe only preseed and dh sperm will make ph of my cm higher.
I have to ask you one more thing. I have gyn appointment next week (but i think my cycle will start so i will have to eait a little longer). For two months, my cycles were ok, and bleeding last for 6-7 dayd. I thought great, its al getting back to normal after escapelle (in may 2018). But this one bleeding was for 12 days. Could it be some other reason, looking back my hystory? I read about mioms and cycts, i hope i dont have any of those. But now im stressing about my long bleeding. I cant wait to ask my dr also, but what is your opinion?
My menstrual pain and everything else is like it always was, just this spotting is so terrible.

Bleeding can be caused by anemia, polyps, fibroids, cervical cysts, a few other things like that. They'll run a couple tests to rule those things out. Most likely is just that your cycle was a little strange from the Escappelle (although it has sure taken a long time to run its course).

I just now read your post! Something went wrong with my internet or something, i didnt saw it until now. Well i had appointment few days ago, but i had to cancel it because my period started that same day, few hours earlier.
Its cycle day 5 now, my bleeding stopped yesterday, there was only few light brown drops and now i am bleeding again. Bright red. Im going crazy about this!
It looks like two periods. First one comes on time, lasts 4-5 days (usualy it was 6) then stops for one day(and when its that pause i have insane headache). Then starts again but its not that heavy. That lasts for few more days.
So i have bleeding for 10-12 days. My next app at dr is in a month and half, i will go insane.

We are starting with diet in a few days, but i am very worried now about this.
I think i have ovulation, but can everything be alright later in pregnancy since my hormones are this messed up..
I will know more after visiting dr but im worried i cant help it.

I really think you need to see the doc about this. Don't worry, but do get it checked. It is most likely nothing, and even if it isn't, it's very likely easy to fix, but I think it's important to rule out rare issues that could lower your chance of conceiving.

I will try to go to private dr (i tried to avoid this because its expensive- and for free option i need to wait) but i will pay, i will calm my mind.
Is papa test, colonoscopy, ultrasound, manual exam and examination of my c mucus enough to discover the problem?

I have gyn appt in a month and a half. So i think then it will be my o days, so in a same time i will check if everything is ok on that side. My bleeding lasted 7 days this cycle and now on 14- 15 cd i think i felt ovulation. I hope everything is now back to normal. It all happens when i relaxed and dont think and stress about that.
I ordered preseed but im waiting so long to come to my country. So we decided to try without ordering plan or diet, there is somethin with my internet card and i dont use it now. People here dont buy that often online- especialy overboard so there is always some kind of a problem with money transfers etc. Im sorry atomic i hope you can still help me with your advices. And tell me if i do something wrong.
I wanted to write few meal examples and to check if its ok, and also maybe give someone some idea for meals.
When i wake up i usualy take some cracker, cookie, pretzels
Breakfast: cereals in milk, or sandwich with milk cream (like greek yogurt just have 20% fat), or bell peppers with eggs, or some butter and jelly. Do you think i should replace usual white bread with dark one?
Lunch: i some days make meat and potatoes in owen, and some days i cook vegetables with meat. This is how it looks like(sorry for my english)
Young beef or beef or pork , or ckicken. I usualy bake that in animal (mostly pig fat) fat and put there potatoes and some more veg. With that i eat greek yoghurt or some cream chesse with higher % fat (like 22%)
If i cook i put there all kinds of meat (not in the same lunch lol) and veggs.
We also make homemade pizza, spaghetti, porridge, moussaka (few kinds- all incuding meat and dairy and eggs so potatoes, sometimes rice), homemade soup, meat in combination with chesse, bacon, so, our food is very various.
Dinner: usualy leftovers from lunch. Pancakes, sandwiches, whatever we have in fridge, just make sure that i make combinations of meat/dairy/eggs with bread or rice. We eat also what we call here burek- its combination of like puff dough with meat/chesse.
Snack: i have it anytime of the day between meals, its some crackers, or chips, its both sweet and salty.
Fruits few times a day.
One coffee, alkaline water (im trying these months befor ttc, what is better for my body- alkaline or lemon), fruit juices.
I started driving a car, organizing our expences, and workout 4-5 days a week. Its what you atomic recommended from yt- about 45mins of few kinds of exercises for strength.
So i changed a lot since my dds pregnancies.

Yes I help everyone regardless of whether they buy anything! It sometimes takes me a little longer to get back to people in the free forums, that's all.
White bread - We started off thinking that whole wheat bread was better for blue but that has really not seemed to matter. Most blue swayers eat very little bread anyway to spare calories. I would use whichever you prefer.
Your regular meals all look very good.
One concern I have is that the things like pretzels, chips, cookies, fruit, etc. are high in carbs, low in protein. These are ok sometimes but be sure to eat soon after having them so you don't have a blood sugar crash. And I would like to see you having things like nuts, cheese, yogurt, egg, hummus or other bean dips as snacks instead of the chips/crackers/cookies especially. Junk foods add calories without many nutrients so it's better to "spend" your calories on getting nutrients. They are ok sometimes though.
I prefer lemon water as I am not convinced the pH of water does anything.
I think you're making a lot of great changes to your lifestyle!! Keep up the good work!

I didnt saw your answer. Just now i see a new post.
Well, i realised that little problem, and for five days already we changed that. I bought some peanuts, almonds, brasilian nut, dry fruits. Should i buy some more- i mean specific kind of nut? Also i make smoothie- i put in blender some water, banana, peaches, apples, carrots, cantaloupe (not all at the same time). I plan to buy few more kinds of fruit, now its season for watermelon, etc. I take that like 15-30min before meals. I feel very good with this dieting, its for 2 weeks now.
I eat chesse- i have here many many kinds- and i look for ones that have high % of fat. I like also yoghurt with nuts. I also started peanut butter, like snack on bread- we never ate that.
Oh yes, about bread- we still eat white ones, but i will try to change that.
What i try to avoid margarines, vegetable oils- like sunflowers which we used a lot (also when having girls), sweets, puddings, i cut down sodas. I try to cut coffee, but i didnt succeeded yet, i drink one cup a day with full fat milk.
I will write down if i remmember something more.

I write about fruit, but didnt ask you what i wanted. How much fruit is needed in boy diet? I read somewhere 7/11 , can you help me with that?

No those nuts are fine if you like those! Peanuts are my least favorite but they're still good.

I also think you're avoiding the right things.
RE servings of fruit - Yes 9-11 servings if you can get that much. IT's a lot, but the serving size are smaller than you think.
Re Preseed - it's up to you. If you think you need lube then use it, if you have natural CM, I'd skip it.

I add indian nut in my snacks, i really like this part of sway.
Is coq10 required supplement for dh, or it goes with age? I am 28 and dh is 32.

Hot showers are fine. Ions are not real. They are bad for men because the heat may harm sperm.
Coq10 is optional. Fine to leave it out!

My af started yesterday, on cd30. So i guess its coming back to normal finally. I have appt in a few days so i will update about that.
I wanted to share something. In my country someone misread about aspirine, or purposly write this news:
If you want to conceive baby boy- start taking aspirine! A lot of people is trying it that way [emoji19] like its that hard to google.

There is a study that claims to find that link in women with recurrent miscarriages who take aspirin to prevent miscarriages. But women who have recurrent miscarriages are more likely to have boys to start with because they have heath issues like PCOS that is more likely to end with male conceptions, and additionally the study itself claimed that it was because more boy pregnancies were surviving to be born, not because it was altering the rate of conception any. https://www.jci.org/articles/view/82357

Thank you for article. People here are very conservative, but they would still like to have desired gender. And when someone find something related to gender swaying they like to make a big deal of it and its usualy not true. Just like folic acid. Its so common to read here that you can conceive twins taking large dose of folic acid/ folate. Its very rare to read a real articles and stydies.
I dont know if i can consider this as problem, i think its just because of dehydration, last few dtd my husbands sperm was very thick and sticky. He takes l carnitine and l arginine from twinlab, complex of vitamins like in posts above, fish oil-omega3, and vitamin d. If tgis continue to happen, should he stop taking something, can this affect my sway.
I find somewhere that this is ok, makes no problem for conceiving but i would like to hear from you. Thank you for answering on every borring question i have. [emoji23]

Wanted to update, i was at dr today, my lining on cd 12 is 6.1 mm. Is this ok? Dr saids everything is allright, i done colonoscopy, papa test, ultrasound. I have retroverted uterus, that shouldnt be a problem in boy swaying, right? I totaly forgot to mention that earlier.

Hi again :D
Im on diet for 6 weeks now and i gained about 3kgs. Is this ok? I am waiting af in a 4-5 days and that cycle we will ttc- my ovulation will be around sept.4-5.
I have muscles, which i never had before- i mean i can see it, and with dds i was unhealthy skinny- no workouts at all.
I do moderate training for like 45 mins a day- for 5 or 6 days a week. I found joanna soh on youtube- and i do combo of her exercises, with weights, kickbox, and for overall strength.
On my 162 i have 59 kgs now. My body shape changed, and i can still fit in all my clothes. :D i still have a little fat on stomach, but behind that i can feel muscles - which is very unusual to me. I feel different, stronger, and it seems that im a little obsessed with workout now [emoji23] i even go today to buy some more dumbells.
Can you tell me am I doing the right thing about this?

Yes everything is going well! I would start trying to hold steady where you're at in terms of weight and continue the workouts! Working out is really fun once you get in the habit of it.

I have one more stuff that is confusing me. I tracked bt this month together with opks. My opk show positive two days in a row (second one was darker)
We will ttc next cycle- so what if i get that same situation? If i get light positive and do attempts , and what if i get the next day darker positive? Continue bd every day ?
Also, i dont have big jump of temperature after pos opk. Its just slow rise. I will add my chart. Thank you in a advance atomic!

Can you tell me what you mean by light positive?? Sometimes people mistake negatives for positives and I want to be sure that's not what you're getting messed up with.
It's not unusual to have a slow rise, it's one variation of normal.
Keep BD every day till you're sure ovulation has happened, if at all possible.

It goes two days in a row of positives. First one is as dark as control line. Next day is darker and thats it for most of time, but i think i had one cycle with 3 days in a row- as dark as control- darker that control line - as dark as control line.
So i planned this way- when i get positive- bd that night- next morning (i hope we will menage to do) and night also. Before that bd at night i will test again (i test around 5pm) , if i get positive we will bd next night also. And continue to until negative opk. This is what you suggest?

Good news for slow rising. I thought i am doing something wrong. But im very correct with measuring and always at same time. I got some advice that what i do is not good enough, and that i need bt digitall thermomether. I have old fashioned one with gallium, but very correct (to my kids also) .
If you have time to answer all my questions i would like to know how much coconut water blue swayers drink per day? Its very expensive in my country, so i can add it for 2 weeks - af to o- and amount in one package is about 300ml. I was thinking to spread that for 2 days.
Are thesse fruits ok eating daily- raspberry- or cherry or grapes (handfull), blueberry(handfull), banana (1 or 2), apple( 1), peaches (1 or 2) , pears or plums (1) . I put some of it in shakes but this is the amount.
I eat more fruits than veggies and that is why im little stressed about. I can eat bell peper few times a week, onion once a day in meal, tomato only in juice about 3 times a week, potatoes once a day, carrot once a day. I eat beans twice a week. And two more ineat 2 times a wek but i cant remmember name on english now.
Meat is always with some veggetables.
I think im doing pretty good- just wonder if i can do something more.

Ok then that's def. positive by the sound of it. I want you to start having attempts at the FIRST positive even if it gets darker later on.
So: night of first positive, again the next morning if possible, again that same night if hubby can, then again the next night. Even if the test has gone negative. The time when the test goes negative doesn't matter, it doesn't tell you if you've ovulated or not.
Then after that you can go to every other day because ovualtion has probably happened. IF hubby can keep going with daily attempts, daily is great, but if he can't at that point do EOD.
The coconut water is not important if it is expensive! Just skip it. Have tomato juice instead. The only reason I include it is to keep people from taking potassium supplements, but tomato juice is a fine way of getting potassium.
Yes those fruits are fantastic. Keep it up!
Fruit is very good for blue! No problem if you have more fruit (unless you're gaining weight too quickly.)

Thank you! I know maybe im too obsessed with dieting and everything, i hope that i dont stress to much. I planned every single thing i can control. Now my ovulation this cycle was again on cd 18-19. But lutheal phase is 14-15 days so i think that is fine.
Since i have retroverted uterus, and so do you if i read correctly, what pose do you suggest? We were spooning lately [emoji16] but i think that is not deep enough (sorry for tmi) . i somewhere read its great for concepcion misionary pose with pilow under my butt.
One more thing that is concerning me is that i had 2 days of cheating with diet. Meaning i eat only protein and smaller amount and fewer servings of fruit. I just had to make a pause.
I think i wrote it, we decided to go without protection from af. Can you tell me is higher percent of success this way, or unprotected only after pos opk? For me its more logical that i will have more friendly enviroment without protection.

Yes that's fine to have O on that day with a 14 day LP. Totally in normal range.
Yes I do! So bad it actually interfered with my bladder during pregnancy! But never stopped me from conceiving boys, that's for sure. :) I suggest either missionary or doggy. Be sure to lay part of the time on your stomach as that's helped a few people who seemed to be having trouble conceiving (even though retroverted uterus is not supposed to prevent conception)
2 days of "cheating" (eating less fruit is not cheating!) is fine. No worries.
I don't have the data I need to prove this but I believe it is your best chance of blue to have unprotected sex all through the cycle. It's shown to boost fertility to do this and everything that boosts fertility seems to sway blue. And theoretically exposure to semen should "tell" your body that a boy has a better chance than a girl. But I can't keep track of those types of things since many people's husbands can't have sex that often and so it wrecks the statistics.

I thought that was it- but no one told me, before my new gynecologist, few weeks ago. I know my uterus is heart shaped, and because of that i had realy hard first natural birth and csection for second child. They find hard to turn head down at delivery. I have back pains at af also and my dr finaly told me its retroverted.
It wasnt problem for conceiving with girls- first month. And with second daughter we had sex only one time in 2 months. (No wonder that she is she [emoji23])

Dh decided to spend money on whatever food and drinks i need, so i will use coconut water. I spread pack of 300ml to two days.
As for my later ovulation- that also i take for different than with my daughters, because with them my ovulation was usualy at cd 12-13-14. I think my weight now also have to do something with ov little later in cycle.
Oh, i forgot to take probiotics. [emoji19] today i saw in my book where i write plans. Is it too late? Im on cd2 today.. We do drink a lot of yoghurts but maybe that isnt enough.

Oh yes heart shaped uterus can definitely be a problem, but retroverted shouldn't be.

Oh i have another question. I noticed since im on diet- my husband also- we have higher blood pressure.
I had very low blood pressure in previous pregnancies and in between.
Is this good? I think its because we have always 3 meals (if i am up longer i have 4meals)and snacks in between so im never hungry. And food is salty. Not too much, but still salty. Maybe i was hungry like 3 or 4 times since i started diet.

Yes for getting/staying pregnant. It doesn't sway and the only other clients I've had were both boy moms.

I am confused now. You mean heart shaped uterus can be a problem for getting and staying pregnant? My dr told me mine have that shape before 2nd pregnancy, but dr now told me just that is retroverted. I think i dont have barriers in uterus, i heard that problem also can be if there are barriers.
The lowest i got in pregnancy was 60/90, but i think it was higher, i measured it only when i felt bad and dizzy. Normal was 70/110 and now is 80-90/130. I have also more strength and dont feel week like i used to.

Yes, for some people. But this doesn't mean it will be for you. I was just trying to explain what I was saying before.
It is slightly high, I think the highest most doctors like to see is 120 over 80. When was it being tested?

I measured it at my parents home, they have small digitall device,that goes on my wrist, and for what i read can show slightly higher result for blood pressure.
I think drs in my country tolerate 80/120 also. I think mine is right there, sometimes maybe goes a little higher, but i feel good, unlike before, when it was really low, i was underweight and hardly have 2 meals a day. This is good sign right?
English is my second language so i am sorry for confusion, it takes some time until i realise what you or anybody on forum wanted to say(write).

Oh yes I've heard those aren't very accurate. But yes if you feel better then it's great! I really doubt a young woman who has always been thin would have high blood pressure.
