ME! Starting in October really praying for one last girl then I’m done, my last sway was successful just most likely will add in cardio this time around.
My issues is snacking! But been doing good not fully started the diet till a few more weeks.
I’d like to join in on this thread as well! I have 4 boys and I am just desperate for a little girl! Is anyone else breastfeeding while swaying? My youngest is 3 months (yes, I know I’m crazy). My husband will be 40 next year which has a lot to do with my desire to start trying so soon.
I’m looking forward to following along on your pink journeys!

I am breastfeeding as well, also ttc girl! My LO is 5 months
I’m breastfeeding! My LO is 17months old though.
Hi everyone! I’d love to join too [emoji177]
I’m from the UK and trying TTC pink next month (AF 3rd-4th July [emoji1696])
My cycles have been really messed up since I had a late mc in December and it’s been tricky trying to track what’s going on [emoji848]
I’m still breastfeeding my DD who is 2 and have been doing the LE diet for a few months, with a few tweaks from Atomic.
Snacking is definitely my weakness!!!
How is everyone getting on?

Hi ladies,
It is getting pretty busy out here. Would you like a recap on the first page? I don't know how it is done, but as a topic starter, I could edit my first message and add your info. Maybe something like this?

Recap in the very first post :running:
How are you ladies doing?
I went to see my family from Thursday to Sunday and I didn't want them to know I was on LE since they think I had my girl and wouldn't want another one, so they wouldn't understand. So it was 4 days of cheating and now I am having a really hard time getting back on track. I hope I'll get there :nails:
My husband was just away and I realized I do better without him around tempting me to snack or eat out. Not sure what’s going to happen with exercising and my diet when we’re travelling for summer vacation though!

What are people eating in a day? Anyone want to give me some ideas? I feel like I eat the same thing everyday

Ginger, I eat a lot of carbs (pasta, rice, quinoa, polenta, bread, tortilla) and all sorts of fruit and vegetables, but also sweets, ice lollies, some cheese now and then
Fiya, don’t be hard one yourself for cheating! Think of all the people with girls who never swayed. They were probably “cheating” all the time! Good luck getting back on track, you can do it!
Ginger, I eat a lot of carbs (bagels, toast, tortillas etc), veggies, potatoes, rice, and salads
@fiya Ha yes they do happen, lol I’m usually always the outlier!
Yes just one boy, 2.5. I turn 34 in August. Gave up probiotics, skip breakfast, try to watch protein/fat and include more empty starches as I avoided those like the plague in my past. With my son, I was such a typical boy mom! Quite toned, ate lots of healthy fats like avocados...ate small meals often...lol

Hi ladies! I’ve been feeling a bit down lately, in part because of all my friends having so many girls and in part because of my age. I have to conceive by the end of the year to deliver before I’m 35. I know that on my 35th birthday my eggs don’t wither and turn to dust, but I’m scared of things going wrong. Terrified really...
Oh and still no cycle so I don’t know when I’ll be able to try :worry:
35 is NOT old. Especially when you have already had two kids and your body already is familiar with getting pregnant. You don’t have anything at all to worry about so I wouldn’t let that stress get to you. Try your best to not obsess over it and undermine your girl sway!
Pretty, yes indeed, 35 is NOT old. How many mums have babies at +40 nowadays? You still have time to conceive a little bundle of joy so please do not worry about that too much.
Please, PLEASE just put that idea out of your head right now. It is a nonsense idea based on data from the 1600's (not making this up) and is really, really not the case at all. Your eggs DO NOT poof into dust and we have excellent rates of conception even all the way up through 42, and with somewhat more difficulty for a couple years after that.
The higher risks of pregnancy 35 and up are because a higher % of women with health issues. It is NOT simply being 35 per se, it's that more women have underlying medical issues and if you are healthy there is no reason to expect any substantially higher risk of harm from being pregnant.
This stuff is just not real. It was stuff made up largely to control women's behavior to be quite honest. Society frowned on older moms and so medical science never bothered to even look into it and simply (and shockingly, STILL IS) relied upon on 400 year old data to scare women over 35 away from having babies. Many of us, myself included, had babies at 37, 39, 42, and they were perfectly normal babies with perfectly normal pregnancies. My birth at 42 was easier than my one at 21!
Here is a really good article that will help put all this into perspective https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine...a-baby/309374/
And let me just warn you for the sake of your sway - do NOT let this mess with your head. MANY MANY of us, myself twice over, had got soooo scared about these dire claims (at the time of my 3rd and 4th boys I hadn't researched this yet) that we did stuff that actually harmed our chances of pink considerably because we felt like we had to do everything possible to "improve fertility" even though there was nothing wrong with our fertility. With my 3rd, I barely knew about swaying but was doing all this stuff because I was sure I couldn't get pregnant at my "advanced" age of 36 LOL (got pregnant in 2 months) and then with my pregnancy at 38/39 I was taking all these supps recommended by InGender for "egg quality" because I was soooo sure I needed all these nutrients to have a healthy baby! (got pregnant in 1 month!) Both boys.
Then at 41 I gave it all up and STILL got pregnant in normal range (6 months, but we weren't really trying very hard) and had a perfectly normal and healthy girl at 42 with a super easy pregnancy and crazily easy birth. While I"d of course never trade my sons for anything, I do wonder what would have happened if I hadn't been so brainwashed into thinking I was going to face these extreme fertility challenges that were actually completely fake and phony. And I've seen hundreds of women do the exact same thing - scare themselves into doing things that actively sway blue out of this misguided fear. So please just rest easy - the risks are completely overblown completely out of all proportion.
I will be trying to conceive pink at the end of this year! Depending how quickly my cycles come back I’m hoping to start trying in December. Extremely nervous to make sure everything goes well. I’m very the OCD controlling personality so I’m going to have to work hard to not let that interfere.
Thank you so much!! What a great article!! My fears definitely stem from the risks of birth defects. I know they’re low, but I can’t express the anxiety I have regarding the subject. Hopefully those will go away.
Ugh, I made the horrible mistake of looking up more statistics. The internet is so cruel sometimes.
Pretty, stop looking hun and just have faith :flowerz: Your body knows what to do, don't worry.
Here, I'm back on track with LE, but waiting for my cycle to come back after I got my IUD removed earlier this month. I should have had my period the 25th, but it's late...
Any of the other ladies want to be in the recap on page 1?
Thank you so much! I know you’re very busy so I completely understand if you don’t have the time or it takes you some time to check any of them out, and I definitely don’t want to scare anyone else (my misery doesn’t want company!) but this are some of the sites I came across, some were more scary than others, some just have scary charts or undertones, but all made me really question if I should pursue another baby

This author actually has scarier numbers (can’t find the full article but valid author): https://journals.lww.com/greenjourna...fferent.3.aspx
Scary Charts:

So last time I told you ladies my period was late since I got my IUD removed in June, but it has arrived two days ago so no more reason to be worried now :) If everything goes to plan, we'll start TTC in September :cheer:
How are you all doing? All eating well and staying within limits? :fx:
That’s exciting [emoji4] I’m still nursing once a day. I plan to completely wean this week so my cycle will finally come back. It came back about 3 weeks after I weaned my first, so hoping for about the same this time!
I went to a bbq yesterday, so I fell off the wagon a little, but starting back with the diet again today!

Going ok I think. I’ve stopped tracking as much as it’s become just a normal eating pattern for me, but am concerned I’m not eating enough or need to bump it up as I’m losing too much weight.

Hiya,

Thanks Fiya,
It was so unexpected and so sad, sometimes it’s hard to believe it really happened [emoji26]
It’s why I want to sway pink this time as I feel if I had a boy it would be like I was replacing him somehow [emoji170]
But regardless of gender, this next little one will be so so precious and I’m so excited but also so nervous about being pregnant again. I have lots of support though [emoji304]
I’ve been doing LE for a few months, decreased meat and have got DH on OLE. The only thing I can’t do much of is the exercise as my BMI is already on the low side which makes me twitchy!
How are you getting on??xxx

Just curious, for those of you that had previous girls sways..did you find it took you longer to conceive while swaying pink?
