Ladies, I'm going in for an elective scan next Friday, the 3rd.
I think the scan will be a good thing!
I do see where people are saying girl then boy, it looks boyish skull wise to me, but the fork makes me think girl, so your baby has me all confused! (I am definitely no expert at this though!)
I hope the ultrasound tech chimes in, but I definitely would not think anything, boy or girl, until your elective scan. Can't wait to hear what that scan says!

I compared the 2 and I think lindi's nub looks more angled but the head shapes look really different to me. I know everyone has dogged the whole head shape theory lately though. 50/50!
I would guess girl but I am brand new at this.
Is there a scrotal bump? I'm not sure what it looks like.
I guess I might as well add this other pic. I didn't put it in the origional post because the tech didn't tell me if this was a nub shot. Is there a nub? If so, is it boyish?? :(

I still don't think it's obvious! The nub looks angled but it also looks in line with the bottom of the spine. I don't think the skull is really obvious either.

anna hun this is such a tricky one the nub is soooooo straight (which to me is girly) but its angled (which is boyish), i know how you ,ust feel please dont lose hope yet hun, there is still a chance this could be your girl, and if not when hes born you will take one look at him and fall helplessly in love with him x

Wow - 7 pages of responses! Thanks so much for all of your guesses. I am so nervous for my appointment Friday. I've been incredibly sad/depressed since the NT scan and of course I'm hoping it ends up being a girl but I don't have alot of hope left.
Foxy here and NicoleRH from IG are both leaning boy and they are experienced techs. Not to mention the tech who actually performed my u/s said 70% boy.
The only reason I'm holding onto any hope at all is because it doesn't look like any boy nub that I have seen and I have looked at pages of confirmed boy nub pictures. Most of them have more going on either right above the line or on the tip. Especially being 13 weeks I guess I would expect to see a more classic boy nub. But for all I know, this pic might not be showing the whole picture, KWIM?
Anyway...I have 5 more days to stress over it and then once it's confirmed either way I'm going to try to take a break from obsessing. I just have to accept it if it's a boy, even though it makes me so so sad. :( I am still praying for a girl...holding onto that thread of hope. Not really sure why because I know that'll just make it hurt more, but I am.
Of course I'll keep you all posted...

im still holding out hope for you. the pics are not great for gender confirmation and 13 weeks is so early. hopefully you will get a great gender shot! if its a boy then i know you wil love him anyway once he's in your arms. plus if you have 7 boys you get a 98% of having a girl without swaying. trust me i know! you are one baby closer!

Yes, there is a white line that seems to be continuing, looks like it might be something else. And the same thing is happening in the first pic. :pray: But I´m far from being an expert, so if others think it is the nub, it probably is.

Gosh, getting close to knowing, really pray you hear what you want at the scan :pray: I know how you feel, had my scan earlier this week and totally obsessing and convinced it is a third boy.....it is so hard waiting to find out for sure. stay strong :HH:

So, today at work, an old coworker came in to show off her brand new baby girl. Two weeks old. Damn did that hurt. She was beautiful, dressed in pink, tiny and sleeping...everything I long for. Please, please God give me a baby girl.:pray:
