Well, looks like we are having another little boy :(
it was a private scan (free as it was their 2nd birthday) but didnt get good views and baby not cooperating. she said she wasn't 100% sure but we both agreed it seems far more boy than girl. Oh well.

I agree! Without a good enough view, I'm sure not all hope is lost! Will you be having another scan? Did they offer to repeat the scan bc baby wasn't cooperating? (I know sometimes they will have you come back in another day to get a better view)Quote:

It was a free scan (promotion) so they didn't give me any pictures, such a pain as I could have done with your opinions! I still have that teeny bit of hope but know deep down it is a boy. I just wish I could know for sure so I could move on. Can't believe I'd be so 'unlucky' to have 3 boys in a row. I'm obviously so so relieved baby healthy but I can't help but feel so disappointed.

:hug2: Indigo! I've totally been there before. And people WILL try and make it seem like you were some how "unlucky" to have 3 boys--and sometimes, it's easy to feel that way.
I have to tell you, now that DS3 has a personality of his own, having 3 boys seems special to me--something most families don't get to experience.
That being said, I COMPLETELY understand your heartache & mine aches for you. Wait until your next scan before losing the hope!

Indigo - I swayed unsuccessfully with DS3 and cried for days when I found out he was a boy. I managed to get myself together after a little while and was excited to meet him once my due date came. Now I can't imagine life without him. Now that he's older, he plays with his big brothers all the time, and the 3 of them are very close. I grew up with 3 older brothers, and they're all great friends to this day. They're also all very close to my Mom - she helped out after the birth of all their children, and she's also the favorite grandma of all her grandchildren. I hope I stay as close to my boys as they grow up.

Sorry you didnīt get your girl this time Indigo, congratulations on your healthy boy.
I wish I could tell you something nice about 3 boys like PPīs did, all I can say is what I like about the idea of having a third boy: imagining them as teenagers or adults, being close, becoming succesfull in live and adoring their mom.
The strongest and most loving mother-adult sons relations I know, are in an all-boys family.
Can you watch videoīs from your sons as babies ? When I saw one the other day of DS2 I just wanted another one like that again.

I echo the other girls. I know it's kinda an alone-like feeling and you feel like everyone you see has one of each and no one has only boys (at least I feel this way at times...) But, know you're not alone..and my boys are GREAT friends! Once this little man's story unfolds...he'll fit right in! Some days when I get down, I just tell myself....some little girl is running around in the world somewhere right now and one of my little boys will be her prince charming, father to her children, love of her life. Just as DH is to me. Then, I know, there's a bigger picture. Praying for peace for you!
