Maiden Lauren usually o's cd14 - 16. Do you think she should start testing abit earlier than cd13 in case the clomid makes her o early? Maybe cd11 instead which is 4 days after last dose?

Clomid can make you O a bit later if you are and early ovulater normally. It is normally 5 to 10 days from last dose that you ovulate. Cd 11 would be fine. I started around cd12 and my last dose was cd9.

My RE told me to start opk testing on cd10 when I took clomid cd3-7.

I think it's fine to test before the 4th day after last dose but I would NOT decide when to BD based on a potentially false positive. As purple said, it is very unlikely she will O earlier on Clomid, if anything it makes most O later UNLESS they naturally O early (CD12 or earlier) most of the time.
Since Lauren Os at a regular time, CD14-16, and is taking Clomid CD5-9, it is extremely unlikely she will O before CD14. Most regular/not super late Oers will O 5-10 days after their last dose of Clomid, with around 7 days after being most common by far. It is very rare to O less than 5 days after last dose, more than 10 days after is MUCH, much more common. For Lauren, I'd bet on CD16 as most likely O day and even plan BDing so an attempt falls on CD14 or CD15 thereby aiming for O-2 or O-1 timing, which have by far the highest odds of conception.
There IS some confusion/controversy over when one can start OPKing on Clomid, with some saying the 3rd day like Pbn3 & Momamia mentioned and some saying the 4th day like myself. Whether the woman has PCOS, the time of day she takes her Clomid, the dose, individual metabolism etc can make a difference. For women without any PCOS tendencies, on 50mg taken right before bed, it's fairly unlikely to get a false positive (or any positive) on the 3rd day after last dose. So I REALLY think it will be a moot point for Lauren.
In that case I might do E4D, starting on CD6 or 7, so you end up with attempts on CD10/11, CD14/15, and CD18/19 in your potential fertile period. If you want you can add another attempt at CD22/23 to be completely covered. Whether you start on CD6 or 7 depends on whether you feel more comfortable aiming for O-2 or O-1, assuming you will most likely O on CD16, +/- a day. If you start on CD7, then you will have a better timed attempt if you O on the early side on CD14, so I'd maybe do CD7 over CD6. It also gives you better timing if you O a little late, on CD17.
The above schedule should maximise both your odds of conception and odds of pink. If no BFP this cycle, I'd probably suggest you switch to E3D next cycle.
Hi all. As expected AF arrived yesterday. Felt too crappy to come in here & update last night. Have come to terms with it today & am not dwelling on it anymore. Maybe this is the month it is supposed to happen. If I did fall pregnant this month my due date would be Nov sometime (depending on when I o). DD1 & DD3 birthdays are only 19 days apart. DD2 birthday is 24 November. Mind you I have to have a C-section so I would probably have baby at around 39 weeks. Well better stop day dreaming & get back to work. Keeping my fx for those who are in tww. I want to see some nice bfps.
