Any news on Waiting4Daisy's little arrival?
Congrats, Mathilde! Hoping you and baby are well xx
Congrats Rainbow and Mathilde!! So very happy to hear your brand new babies are here safely :)
Mathilde - My new little boy is named Edward also... after my dad :) Love the name, great minds think alike!
Rainbow - DS2 desperately wanted to named DS3 William and called him that for a good 2 weeks! LOL... it's a good strong name :)
Rainbow and Mathilda huge congrats!! I love the names! Well done ladies!
I wish we could use names like Edward or Benjamin for our DS2 but we have an Arabic surname and it would sound ridiculous. We are struggling sooooo much with names, especially with boy names. I like Milan but DS wants Darian or Damian wich I am not very happy with. No ideas other than that. For the girl our favorite is Sophia so far but DH also likes Alissa. As for now I don't see us EVER agree on two names :(.
Kellbell, so sorry you didn't hear girl, is this going to be your last child?
TTC how was the anatomy scan? Is everything okay?
Ladybugs I am glad to hear your little one is doing great, you must be so relieved that everything is not as serious as it looked like.
How is everyone else?
GeCon how is your cutie doing?
Meeks and Charlee I am so much in love with all the baby pics in FB keep them coming. Can't believe how cute your little ones are!
AFM I am feeling much better but am having terrible back pain now. My doctor did prescribe me a special belt, hope I will have it by Tuesday as I am having some trouble with my insurance you doesn't want to pay for it.
We are over the moon happy that we are having b/g twins!!! I was so exited to be able and shop girls clothes but now I am doing most of the shopping on the internet as I can't walk very long with my terrible back.
Here is today's belly pic, 23 weeks exactly, gained 5kg so far:

I'm still hanging in there, this is the most pregnant I've ever been, looks like she is going for the woman's prerogative and looks like I might be pregnant most of this month, when I was hoping for a February baby!
Sooo cute mathilde! Congratulations:)
Hi Girls! All went great with the anatomy scan. He is healthy, very active, and no placenta previa which is a huge relief since I had complete previa with my DS1. The boys had fun seeing their little brother. Although, when I walked into the ultrasound room the tech said, "Oh, it looks like you have a little girl in there!" She claimed to be able to tell from the way I was carrying. My DS2 told her "NO, it's a BOY!" I think he was scared for a minute that the tech was going to tell him something different...and I on the other hand had a quick feeling of hope that maybe the 16 week scan was wrong. ;) However, he is in fact all boy, and was happy to prove the tech wrong seconds after she put the wand on my tummy! We are getting excited...time is going so quickly! I have bought a bunch of cute little outfits for him already, and I think we have it narrowed down to three names that we all agree on. It's hard to get four people on board for a name, but I really wanted to include the big boys in picking out the name.
Pumpkin, I responded to you on the Longtermer's thread. Thinking of you and hoping your back pain improves with the belt!
Mathilde, what a gorgeous baby! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing a pic with us. :)

My due day today! Come on baby!!
Good luck xx
Things possibly moving today! Had lovely full blown clear out last night, bloody show this morning. Getting some regular contractions but not particularly long, like 30 odd seconds every 3-4 minutes. Still think baby is a bit wonky so trying to keep active and do things leaning forward or on hands and knees!
Ooh exciting :) come on baby!! Xx
Excited for you Pixi! Can't wait to hear the news! :)
OK so she arrived at 6.17pm GMT ;)
Didn't quite call midwife in time so born into Daddies hands watched by two excited brothers and my mother!

Omg what an amazing pic!!! How happy you all look:) congratulations. Can't believe hubby delivered her too how fantastic. You did so well enjoy your pink bundle xx
I wrote this out earlier, I did he same father the boys births so I never forget :D
Having had a couple of restless nights I was getting very eager for baby to arrive. Ruth mentioned in a message that inversions might help get my wonky baby into a better position for birth so I started doing a few on Tuesday. I took walk afterwards with the boys to the park, bought lots of fresh fruit in sainsburys and sat and munched my way through a pineapple, half a tub of raspberries and the same of blueberries, and a banana! That night I got the clear out, whether it was the fruit or happened anyway, I don't know! Maybe the fruit helped get things started with the inversions?!
So, another night tossing and turning, got up for a wee in the morning and noted bloody show. Never noticed with the boys, but this was quite a lot of bloody goo which came away over a few hours. I've been getting braxton hicks so regularly the last few weeks it took a while to decide my tightening were labour contractions. I called Mark at 10am to come home, even though I wasn't 100% sure things would move that quickly. We blitzed the house! Cleaned everything, fed the boys lunch, got ourselves all set then took the boys to the little park next to our house. I came home before them and tried to rest a little, contractions were coming every 5 minutes or so. When Mark got in I took a bath, that sped things up a bit and contractions were about 3 minutes. I lost track of time after that, I told Mark to feed the boys, bit of a communication break down and he ended up walking to ASDA and buying pizza! During that time I decided I needed to call people, called my mum and got her to come, called Mark and said hurry up, called midwife when Mark got home and said please come, but I think I might ave left it a bit late! Mark blew up the pool but never got time to fill it. My Mum arrived just in time. I had been pacing the garden feeling very intense contractions, I knew I had hit the second stage and could feel her head coming down with every breath. My waters popped in the garden, from that point I knew I had probably two contractions and she would be here! I headed in and asked for a towel, got on all fours and told Mark to wash his hands because he was going to catch a baby! It was three contractions, Mark did a good job not dropping wet slimy baby! The boys were with my Mum just stood by looking on :)
It was amazing! I'd always wanted to birth naturally, and this was just so natural and empowering just with my family around me. Mark had phoned for an ambulance just incase, they arrived 45 minutes after birth, minutes before the midwife! I was sat on the floor draped in towels when three paramedics and two midwives arrived! Needless to say paramedics were dispensed with quickly. I'd sat with the cord connecting us for an hour when the midwives said to give a little push and the placenta slipped out easily into a kidney dish, ready for encapsulation! We tied the cord ties on and Mark cut the crunchy cord.
I think I left it so long as my first stage contractions just weren't painful, I was waiting for it to feel more intense. Walking, leaning forward and relaxing my uterus during contraction, breathing and rocking my pelvis all made the contractions just brief tightenings.
Amazing birth story!!! You make it sound so easy! Xx
WOW, that birth story is amazing Pixi! Congratulations!! What a beautiful picture of you and the boys looking so happy to meet your sweet baby girl! :)
