Just got the appointment call for my nt scan! They didn't have the Friday I wanted at 11w6d but they had the 11th and I will be 12+1 even better!
July 11th at 11:15 eekkk... hopefully will see a good nub weather or not I get a shot I'm going to be studying

Ash-yayyy, that is SO exciting!!! Hope you will be able to tell gender or at least have a good guess!
Kat-that is reassuring! I was super sick with one & barely sick with the other...both boys, yet I'm still analyzing this time!!! Feeling pretty good for the most part!
Sky-that is smart to stay busy! Now that I'm on summer break, it's good & bad. Not as distracted, but trying to stay active & busy with the boys. I started to have this anxious feeling last night that made me out of breath...just thinking how sad I'll be if I don't get my girl our last baby & then feeling guilty for feeling that way!!!
Pbn-our appts are not soon enough!! As Kat said, she'll kick things off for us on the 28th, then sky & I will have ours on the 30th. Mine is at 8:30 AM!!! Eeek!!!
I think I slot in between you all too on the 29th.
Had my booking apt this morning, they took bloods but missed my vein first time so I look like a bruised pin cushion. other than that, all went as expected. Managed to get a little recording of beans heartbeat which was lovely.

The nuchal scan (nub guessing galore!) followed by the Down's syndrome blood tests.
Weirdly I already have the dates for my 16 week appointment too, guess my midwife likes being organised haha.
Lola - You know I've been a tad worried bc I'm feeling so much better than I did last time around. I'm hoping this nausea stays minimal!!! I'm nervous too about hearing girl, I won't be devastated by any means, but a tad sad. Is your DH wanting a girl or is he just team girl for you?
Ash - The hair thing sounds crazy!! I shave like once a week [emoji85]
Kat maybe if your not so sick it'll be boy! I wasn't nearly as sick with my boys as I have been now but I don't want to get myself to excited

Ash - I would love to believe that but Atomic responded in a post the other day that differences with nausea in the first trimester is maybe 1% higher when carrying a girl so she debunked that theory [emoji57]

4blue1pink how exciting your nuchal scan is coming up!! Cant wait to have a nub guess! That's awesome you have a recording of bubs heartbeat! I used to think I'd like to get a doppler so I could hear it whenever I like but not anymore,I'd freak right out if I couldn't find the heartbeat 😦 so best leave that idea alone 😂

4blue1pink-yay! Nice to have it all scheduled! I want to go ahead & our my materniT21/genetic appt on the schedule before they book up, but my dr has to put the referral in after my 1st appt. Please update with pics after your appt so we can all start guessing!!!
Kat-DH really wants a girl too! Although I hope the theory holds true in your case, glad it's been debunked b/c I need a girl & not feeling really sick so far! BUT if it makes you feel any better, I was barely sick for DS2.
Pbn-I sure hope the time flies by! The 4WW is worse than the 2WW 🤣
Pbn & Ash-I looked into getting a Doppler, but I've heard that it's not that easy, especially early on. That's when I'd want it the most. When I feel baby kicking & moving, def not as worried :)

Lolla- I had no ms with dd. Didn't even throw once throughout my pregnancy. I felt better than ever. So, I agree that the signs don't mean much and can be the same sometimes for both genders. I don't have any ms this time too. Just the penny taste in mouth and breathlessness and heaviness from
morning to noon. I think it may be related to the fact that I am driving dd to classes and I get a little anxious when I m about to start driving. [emoji849][emoji849]
I ate eggs when ttc as a part of blue sway and I still love eggs. [emoji12][emoji12]Dh got hungry last night as were up late after dinner and asked me to make eggs and I never eat that late but those eggs just made me drool. [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12][emoji51]So I made for myself too. [emoji52]
4blue1pink - It's so exciting to have all the tests lined up. I agree your midwife sounds great. I m just waiting for the first appointment to find out all the tests my OB suggests for

Kat - My dh also wants a dd. He tells me he wants a boy for me but he will be thrilled with another girl. [emoji12][emoji12]
My dd made him a card for father's day and wrote "I love you more than god" ❤️❤️❤️❤️He is a lucky man. She just adores her daddy. No wonder he wants a girl team. [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]

Sky how sweet your daughter is. I also think ms is just something you will or won't have and it is somewhat similar with every pregnanyy at least for me I've been sick with all 5 but worse this time. It hits me hard in the evening! I'm super tired and thinking of food makes me want to 🤢!
Kat I was good for the first two weeks also. 5w1d is when it hit and has stuck around every day [emoji17] it's nice for the reassurance part but I just keep thinking god I promise I will not wonder or ask to be sick again just take it away [emoji120] so far no luck lol

Sky-that's reassuring that you didn't have MS and still had a DD! A close friend didn't have MS & had a girl as well. What time is your appt?
Ash - I am so sorry that ms is so bad. I can imagine because I have seen my sisters have horrible ms with their daughters. Do u feel like throwing up or actually throw up a lot? I don't have an idea that's why asking [emoji52]. U r a superwoman for taking care of your family with such bad ms. I think dh will understand. I get horribly dry down there whenever I m pregnant and it burns like hell while having sex. The same is happening this time and I

Lolla - My sisters were so jealous of me when I didn't have any ms and they were certain dd was a boy because both of them had horrible ms with their girls. Firstly sorry for being away as hell busy in Eid shoppings etc. And also the routine is changed for this month. Hopefully it LL get back after Eid.
Ladies I love you allot. Thank you so much for your concerns. Pbn, 4 blue1pink, sky, lolla it's great to know that you people care. It's my first experience in any pregnancy group and I am feeling I am on very special place where everyone cares for each other. Love you all. Seriously it feels good when you know that people cares for you.
Beautiful bump pics. And great to know about next appointment. Specially I am waiting for you people nipt results, that I can not get unfortunately.
Yesterday I had my first scan. Baby measured 1.7 cm at 8 weeks. After misscarriage it was great to know that everything is fine. Now my doctor gave me da ye after 4 weeks for next scan at 12 weeks.
So who is going to find out gender first? So excited.

Pbn. We have a month of Ramadan when whole day one needs to keep fasting. And after a month, we celebrate it and it's called Eid. In this day we all wear new dresses, have get togethers, lunches dinners, it's like a happy celebration like Christmas. We get three holidays for this celebration.

Sumbal - I'm so glad you're ok and I hope you're having a wonderful Eid. I can't imagine Ramadan fasting whilst pregnant, that just have been hard.
Pbn - I was scared I would freak out if I didn't find babes heart on the Doppler too (I have a history of losses) but thankfully I found it really easily and straight away, I think he wants me to know he's doing ok.
(Yeah he.. symptoms say girl. Instinct is screaming boy!)
Lolabelle - hope you manage to get it booked soon, waiting is so frustrating.
Sky blue - I'm feeling awesome, thank you. Which is to say I feel relatively normal with a normal amount of nausea rather than hugging the toilet all day long like I have been haha. I'm 10+6 now, this tri seems to be flying. How are you feeling?

4blue1pink-What brand/type of Doppler do you have? I wanted to get one, but was hesitant since I thought it might cause more worry if I couldn't find it. Glad to hear it was easy for you!

Yay so many updates!! I really don't feel that bad (thank goodness) just a little nauseous from time to time! Praying it stays this minimal!! With last pregnancy it was so bad - like didn't even go away when I payed down and the only thing I wanted to eat was roman noodles, English peas, and kraft (gross) mac & cheese. If I get there again I'll be pretty sad and will definitely let y'all know! Thank you for asking [emoji3] Feel much better today bc I got good sleep and ran this AM.
Ash - I hear ya on the sex drive, mine is nonexistent [emoji51] Be kind to yourself - marriage has good phases and bad phases. I bet you'll feel better soon and you can make it up to him [emoji12]

Lolabelle - It's a Sonoline B 3MHz Doppler. I can't fault it at all, though I'd recommend watching a few YouTube videos first just to familiarise yourself with placenta sounds versus artery sounds versus baby heart to make it easier.
For me I tend to find the heartbeat about an inch left of centre and about an inch higher than my pubic line which surprised me because it's higher than I expected at this stage but I guess since I've had so many babies or something?
I'm loving seeing/reading how you're all announcing. We haven't even thought about it yet. Maybe I just won't and I'll see if anyone notices as I get bigger and bigger :shrug:
Kat-ohhhh can't wait to see your pic & can't wait to hear your parents/sis's reaction. I totally know what you mean about posting pics in a public forum! I went back & deleted after a day & hope the world didn't see...I'm a little paranoid!! You could always message all of us! I wonder if group messages are possible? Never tried! Glad you're not feeling as nauseous! Every now & then I'll feel a little queasy & light-headed a good bit when I stand up too fast.
4blue1pink-I'm soooo going to look into that Doppler! How early did you start using it?
So this is going to sound dumb, but I have 2 very active & playful boys. They jump on each other & me ugh! Today, DS2 (2 yrs) hopped up on the couch and firmly stepped on my abdomen. It worries me that they're going to disrupt what's going on in there [emoji15] Surely there's enough protection in there right??
