It’s funny how different protocols are around Clomid, with my girls I think it was CD3-5 only ? ( I would have to dig out the old box to check haha) – and I O’d around CD12. Does your specialist monitor you with bloodwork and ultrasounds?
In any event, FX for Af to rock up soon so you can get this show on the road :D

Oh that’s cool with the bookkeeping – allows you to stay in the workforce whilst still staying at home most of the time, and be there for your kiddies – win win :D
One of my neighbours is a high school teacher, lives 2 houses down from her parents – so her kids are only in daycare a couple of days then staying with grandparents or her siblings – she leaves her house much later than I do and comes home well before, has all her school holidays – I sometimes am soooo envious, it sounds like the best of both worlds! ^^ I work at a Uni but don’t have those perks – nor the family close by – takes them at minimum 24hrs on a plane to come and visit..once we have #3, might need to reconsider career plans again lol
Thanks for your reassuring words, as per usual :D Hubby didn’t seem unhappy with the morning cuddle – so we’re both content :D I didn’t get any Preseed though given the unplanned nature of it all – will likely try to get some tonight though – even with all the lemon water, grapefruit juice and Robitussin, no apparent ewcm (apart from some briefly yesterday arvo).

They don't LMSM! I really wish they did! It is a pain! Clomid probably messed my cycle up a bit I can imagine! So may start tonight, or a day or two! Going to see if my husband can jumpstart it tonight! Usually does the trick! Fx! Thanks!

Lolabelle - Omg last night had to feel like the longest night ever. I wanted to see the temp difference. Hopefully O shows up :) We had our attempt late last night :) I haven't been feeling to well today. I woke up with a slight headache, and extremely nauseous. Almost like I'm sick to my stomach. I've never felt like this around ovulation before. Anyone else ever feel like this around O?

Nacire-yay, glad you got your attempt in!! I get really bad pains around O and sometimes a headache. I think it's normal for hormone levels to make you feel nauseous around O. Can't wait to see that temp tomorrow! Bet it continues to rise!

Nacire we'll be looking for a rise tomorrow morning or following. Have you done an opk today? No idea what time it is where you are and my brain wont work it out but I *think its close to 24 hour difference and its 12.40pm here

Naci – woohoo, FX this attempt is THE attempt (and yes, I often have similar symptoms around O) :D
Iwant4- like the ladies suggest could still be implantation happening – especially with all those symptoms this could be something all the more if you see a rise tomorrow :D
Lola – I might have missed it but have you made plans for your 1st prenatal appointment or not? ( I should totally stalk you on the DDG ladies, would save me asking silly questions lol). How are you feeling?

Did a morning opk around 10 ish – was positive, just did one now at 1pm very positive – will do a last one after the kids are in bed around 7-8ish so def on for an attempt tonight – woohoo! :D

Sky hi! My toe is ok thanks and actually looks ok strangely enough. It does keep seeping blood though so I'm almost positive I'll lose the nail in the next few weeks 😭 Cant believe you cracked your toe nail 😮we are a co-ordinated bunch 😂 my next appt is the 15th so a week away 😀 feeling pretty crap tonight and hoping so much its pregnancy related 😀😀😀😀

Sooo, tonight's opk is back to being a tad lighter (same as this mornings) sô assume the surge has passed and O is not too far away... tonight..we BD! (It's silly but I had the whole "tonight, we dine in hell" big voice included mohahaha)
Not sure if I will manage to convince hubs for a session on the am..might try the snuggle thing see if that entices him enough lol otherwise, do you think it's pointless to BD tomorrow evening also considering it likely will be just after O?

Lol we posted at the same time 😂😂 yes definately still do a bd tomorrow night if a.m. doesn't pan out. You've gotten your peak surge but that still means you can o anywhere between 12-48 hours so better safe than sorry I say! Cant believe in a few hours you'll be two attempts in with one to go!!! Literally cannot wait until your temp spikes Saturday morning!!!

Pbn3 - I don't know what I should be looking for on my chart, but I'm pretty sure you said a nice temp rise. This morning there was a slight dip. Does this mean I never ovulated, or could it possibly happen today/tonight?

Hi nacire! Just came on here to post about your chart lol! Ok so we were hoping for a temp rise this morning or tomorrow morning. Ovulation generally takes place 12-48 hours after pos opk sometimes even 72 hours. So because there was no spike this morning then hopefully we'll see one tomorrow. Your attempt will still be within 48 hours of o which is still excellant timing :) The important thing here is not to panic and think of it as doing a science experiment on your body as in your working out what your body does and when. Remember last cycle it was many days after first of three pos opks that you oed and we didn't and still don't know if that was a one off or not. The beauty of it is this. If there is no spike tomorrow morning you simply bd again before dh leaves to cover you attempt wise for another couple days. Keep doing a 1pm opk for now until we see a sustained temp rise. You pos opk may have been a false surge but its more likely you'll see a rise in temp tomorrow. Does that make sense? Let me know if you have any questions but remember not to panic! Just go with it and trust your body to do its thing :) and know you can get another attempt in tomorrow if things don't go the way we expect so its still a win/win at this stage ❤

Everything you said makes complete sense. You are such a wise woman when it comes to all this ovulation stuff :) I will keep you updated with OPK today, and maybe tomorrow there will be the spike in temp I've been hoping to see.. I hope your feeling good today and your toe is much better and healing nicely :)

I'm off to my mums for the weekend and cant wait! The boys love going to her house. Going to pick up ds1 from school a little but early so we can get there before dark. It gets dark so early in winter. It's only a 2.5 hour drive at the most but I take a back way there and there's greater chance of kangaroos so like to make sure I'm not driving at dusk :)

Pbn3 - that is so crazy that kangaroos are just hopping around. I bet it's so amazing to come across them for the first time. I remember leaving my house back in California and coming across a huge deer in the middle of the road. It felt like I was dreaming you'd swear I saw a unicorn lol. I wish we lived closer to family so we can go for little weekend trips like that. You be safe driving on that back road :)

I've grown up seeing them all the time but sadly you see more dead roos than alive. They come out of nowhere most the time and its more they hit you than you hit them. I've been lucky (touch wood) that I've only ever hit maybe two? But have had quite a few close calls. It's when things are dry that its worse as they come looking for green grass pickings beside the road (my guess is the heat generated by the bitumen road during the days turns to moisture at night and seeps into the roadside grass??) Anyway it was pretty green when I went down about a month ago, hoping it still is 😜
