Thanks Winn for that reminder. In the end all we want is for our chldren to stay healthy, safe and loved no matter what the gender. I know too many people who have lost children in the last few months and they can never hold their babies again.
so I think I am getting sick , like cold sick on top of everything, sneezing, sore throat, and i remembered that last pregnancy at exactly this point (which I remembered bc we were on vacation) I had the same thing happen, I was 9 weeks then too so it's following the same pattern and it's making me very nervous.
If it makes you feel better spinning I get a cold every pregnancy around 7-9 weeks. Had one with all three. It is common for pregnant women to get colds. I am sure baby is just fine :-)
Today I really feel that this baby is a boy. And even though I've been saying it for a while, my heart really wants to think that my dd and I could possibly get to experience another little lady in our family. I feel like my life is complete boy wise. I have all the boys I want. The thought of ds3 not being the last boy makes me sad, and guilty for some reason. I know many of you don't have girls yet, and I don't want to come across as ungrateful for what I have. But I do believe if you have 5 children, like my crazy a$$ decided to do..lol..that you'd have a dd by now too. I know many are feeling down about the gender they have been told, and I'm certainly not trying to make things worse for any wonderful ladies in this thread. I've nubsessed today over my nt scan pics. I've never done that before. Thanks for listening. The people in my "real" world would never understand.
Am i the only one that has a sibling that has GD too!!
DS1 keeps saying that he only wants a baby girl and no more boys.
Nope my ds1 really wants a sister...bad
rosie- i think that makes it a lot harder for me. i feel bad if he won't get his sister. most of my friends have girls and the one that has one boy and 4 girls, he doesn't even choose to play with her son, he likes the girls.
I had a cold somewhere around 9 ish weeks too!
I'm not sure about my DS1, he said he wanted a brother, then he said its a baby sister and wanted to buy 'her' all pink and girly things, but now he's telling everyone he's getting another baby brother. So he keeps going back and forth! I hope he stays excited about having another brother...
