Ladies, I've got the flu. Definitely more than just a cold. I'm coughing constantly. I feel like the baby is going to fly out, I'm straining so much. Can coughing too much cause labour to kick start?

I don't know for sure Sarah but it sure feels like it with me too.
I have had so much trouble with inhaling food, I don't mean eating fast. I am eating more than usual because I am pregnant and all my neck muscles seems super relaxed...actually all my muscles feel super relaxed, which will come in handy during labor but not so much when I am trying to function day to day.
Hang in there. Good luck!
Aw Happy it is good to see and hear from you! You have a cute bump and you are all baby!! I understand your feelings as well. The hardest thing for me was the comments of strangers with my 3rd DS-which was the one thing that should matter least of all. I quickly realized that those people do not matter and my baby is my baby. My boys are my everything and there is something special about each one of them. Every child is a miracle. DS3 is the most cheerful and happy go lucky little kid ever. The joy he brings us has nothing to do with his gender. Same goes for every one of our kids. Having brothers as children is so wonderful, too. I know that I am beyond grateful for the bond these boys of mine have and you'll see it with yours. I have heard so often that parents wish their boy has a brother, too when they see mine playing. It's something special, for sure.

Hang in there Sarah....we won't be prego forever! I have to cross my legs when I cough, sneeze, or laugh to hard because I wet myself too. After 4 babies the pelvic floor muscles just aren't what they used to be!
I wet myself when I had cough too , I thought there was something wrong with me lol
And yes , squatting + walking should help strengthen the muscles to help with labour later on.
Im 36 weeks , only 4 weeks to go !
Sarah I hope you feel better soon! I've wet myself a LOT this pregnancy due to multiple colds and sinus/coughing bouts. Allergies are part of it, too.i have to wear a pad just in case or I'll surely have a very embarrassing incident!
