I just pop it in there and lay very still. Fortunately my therm has temp recall cuz I have fallen asleep temping more than once lol. Also waking doesn't affect temps much as long as you go RIGHT back to sleep. If you stay up after waking that's a different story though...

Tapatalk won't show me pics for some reason :( we always did the evening of OPK (before swaying and doind E4D) I think you'll be ok :) but if you can get it in sooner that's even better!
