see if you end up pregnant this cycle cosmo i actually have changed your ovulation date in my head to CD 25 and you are 10 DPO IMO...my reasoning is there is a good spike again, your best yet, on CD 26..and only since then have you stayed consistently above 98.0 degrees. I know thats not what you want to hear but from a mom who got 2 girls with pre seed, pre seed is definitely not make or break for a boy sway.. if you are going to ovulate the truth is it can happen at ANY point within reason after CD 12 and i think some women have even ovulated earlier not that its ideal obviously..and some ovulate very late especially someone who normally has long cycles...but you are already looking at a longish cycle at this point even if thats not your norm.
Your temps look great now and have been steadily climbing.. i DO think you have ovulated this cycle so its just a matter of pinpointing it and if it resulted in conception!
Hi ladies...I'm unfortunately out. AF just came.
I know, I thought that was very strange also. My temp is still high, and looked back to all of my other charts and they shot down the morning before AF. Pretty confident, though...light flow but super bad cramps, so it has to be AF right??? I swear, this cycle has been the most emotionally exhausting one I have ever had.
Well, when I leave all the temps in and set FF to FAM, it moves my O day to CD25. It is only when I remove the temp spike on CD15 that it moves it back to CD20. I have to exclude that temp all together because I didn't sleep through the night at all and I went to bed very late on top of that. It was a bad night all around. I find it difficult to accept CD25 for the following reasons:
1) I'm hypothyroid (treated) and my temps are always very low. My Highest temp is like 98.1 and that was always on the day before temps began to drop, so 3-4 days before AF. For my temps to go above that and stay there, it had to be an implantation, otherwise they would be unstable and eventually take a nose dive and AF arrives. I added last month's chart to my page for comparison.
2)My temps have gradually gone up, which means progesterone has been slowly increasing for a while, then there was a quick dip and stabilization afterwards. If we remove the dip, it just continues to go up and stabilizes above 98. From what I have seen in most BFP charts, there is stabilization in temps after implantation, some even get flat line temps.
3)On CD20&21 I had copious amounts of EWCM, I've never seen that amount before. I had high libido to go with it, which I found totally odd since I assumed I had O'd already.Interesting to note, on CD14&15 I had no interest in sex and I always do when I O.
4)I started to get very intense orgasms after CD25, which has only ever happened when I've purposely used hCG OR have had high progesterone levels during progesterone therapy. I can't remember much from my previous pregnancy besides being super thirsty and tired.
I only have these 4 reasons (which I believe are strong), plus a couple of other "symptoms" as well as my intuition. I know people don't like to pay much attention to intuition, but I'm well in tune with myself on many levels. I'm not gonna totally dismiss the possibility of CD25 being O, but I had no signs of it whatsoever at that stage and my temps stabilized like the day after, which doesn't add up to me.
The good part is that I love a good mystery and I'm enjoying all of the theories. The bad news is that I used my last IC a couple of hours ago and BFN :D loooooool. I'll get a set of frers for Wednesday morning if I don't get AF by Tuesday.
Good luck, cosmo!! Keeping fingers crossed for you!!! What does setting FF to FAM do?
Some women do have what they think is AF around the same time AF shows. Keep a very detailed journal of your flow and of course, temps will confirm in the next day or so.
FAM is the fertility awareness method. So it will use your temps, CM and CP to determine when you O'd Vs using your historical data and other details like the advanced setting does.
Thank you! I'm just ready for this to be over so I can either try again or make plans. I'm so mentally exhausted u_u.
Totally hear you cosmo! I feel the same way! And I was going to stop temping tomorrow, but I guess I'll keep going.
Sorry, going back to FAM....why would you want that over advanced??
That's a good question. I prefer the advanced settings but my chart this month is whack and the ovulation pattern is not very clear and looking triphasic. Considering the fact that I'm so late in my cycle with no AF and no BFP, I'm falling back on FAM because it is a well established method. I do go back and forth though as time goes by to see how the two methods differ.
Advanced insists my O day was CD14, even if I remove the crazy thermal shift, I personally feel it was CD16, and FAM says CD20. CD14 is looking unlikely because of BFN's, although I can't completely cross it out until BFP or AF. *sigh*
Anyway, FAM is more simple while advanced settings takes into consideration not only your own data history, but others as well.
I have some pain in my cervix area or my lower uterus, I can't comfortably lay on my tummy either. I'm feeling alot of discomfort which I can't describe. It feels like when I had my IUD in there and it would poke me, or it was too cramped. It's difficult to describe.
This whole thing is bogging me down to be honest. Just want to get on with it.
