Well nausea has hit me bad!!!! Have had it all day, so hard to function and mind 3 kids ... Sickness just like when I was pregnant on the boys, was hoping for different symptoms this time round or to have an easier time of it, hate feeling like this!

I hear you sweetie! It is so hard to enjoy being pregnant when we feel so sick! I can't eat more than 1300-1600 calories a day, otherwise I puke! I also can't graze without feeling super nauseous. I joke that this baby is either a little dive or a dictator, haha! At least we know everything is ok!

Just chiming in to say I also had dull aches and pains around the time of implantation...although at that point I had assumed it was pre-menstrual cramps. I also had aches in my back which was quite unusual for me...so yes, I think what you're experiencing Cosmosis seems normal...so don't worry!

I've enquired at a NIPT clinic today! Just made a call and asked for information. At this point I'm more inclined to go ahead with the testing than not to...I've turned 35 not too long ago and Google has me scared! Would those of you who are contemplating this type of testing wait until after the 12 week scan just to more accurately confirm results ....or just go right ahead and test at 9 weeks?
(I would be testing for the genetic health of the baby as a primary reason, confirming the gender is secondary)

Eating certain stuff helps but then I go off it and can't eat it again or I feel sick ... Wake in the morning really sick (empty stomach) and I'm headachy all day everyday, I really suffer in pregnancy but it doesn't go past wk 14 ish ... Think I might need to reach for some panadol ladies!!!

I've had to take paracetamol three times already because my head aches are so bad sometimes but they've gone the past two days I think it may have been related to the cold I had.
I remember nausea being so much worse on an empty stomach ...
I didn't know u have the NiPT test that early I thought it was 10 weeks? If u have the money and are concerned then certainly go ahead I say ! I definately would like to have that sort of reassurance it's far more accurate from blood testing than ultrasound and obviously gender is an added bonus x

Thank you for the reassurance ladies :)
@amelia, I'm sorry you are suffering :( from a nutritional perspective, I really recommend magnesium and a multi mineral solution ontop of that. I have a client who suffered really bad hyperemesis gravidarum her first few pregnancies and she worked with me for a while and recovered her health (heavy remineralization). She is now pregnant again and no hyperemesis so far, just mild nausea here and there.
@1pink, I would wait until 12 weeks so you don't waste time and money. If you do it earlier, you won't be sure and still left wondering you know?
AFM, still achy in my uterus area and fatigued. hCG makes me wake up very early lol. I'm up between 3:30 and 4:30AM now. That's what gave me confidence to keep testing and looking for the lines lol.

Thank you for your comment Butterflies.
Yes, apparently 9 weeks is the earliest they test. They test for a range of conditions and I like the idea of putting my mind at rest very early on (hopefully). I've fortunately never had any issues with my previous children, and I'm aware that things do not automatically 'go wrong' the minute you turn 35, it's just that a lot of what you read online can cause unnecessary worry and I'd rather have peace of mind!
