So beautiful cvd! So glad everything went well for you today :) He has some edible cheeks.
And surgena, J did not engage until I pushed. Seriously. I wouldn't worry to much about it. It can happen quickly.

Did you go late or no?
My son was born, gestation-wise, tomorrow, so I can't get that date as my "goal date" out of my head! So dumb. I just want her here before 27th! :P With my son I was NOT impatient, I wanted him to stay IN until my mom got here... which he did, and then I went into labor the day after she arrived and she was still sleep deprived from the 8 hour time difference (oops!)
I keep telling my body this pregnancy (since I'm not waiting for my mother and want it all done with before I get house-swamped with visiting family), "Okay, all chores are done. All rooms are clean. We have a new freezer now. I've done all the laundry. Any time... any... time.... pleeeeease?"
Nope Surgena...I was due tomorrow officially (May 24th). She came the latest of my children (I had a 36+6, a 37+2, and a 37+6), but still a couple weeks early.
I do find it hard to pass the point of previous deliveries. It feels like you should be done, even though obviously baby has their own plans. I struggled a bit with waiting on J, given my first was a week earlier and my second was four days earlier. I was so uncomfortable, I was hoping I would go into labor every day! Should be soon for you though! You are almost there :)
hotdogz&boyz How big were your babies being born early? I had ds2 at 37 weeks and he was 7.7 pounds and was so ready to be born... I had ds1 at 37+5 and he was 7 pound 2 but he was acting premmie... Just worries me as I am 99% sure If I have another bub it will be early again
Suregena DD came bang on 38 weeks and DS was 39 + 1.
Now midwife says her head is in the top of my pelvis and she can't wiggle her head.
So I guess she likes to go in for a pelvic dip off and on. Haha... oh well, that's good!
Feeling a little twingey tonight and she's wiggling like craaaaazy.
Fizzled out after a bath! But bad diarrhea. :/ definitely think things are moving towards labor, though... maybe in the next few days?
Loose stool was always hours before labor for me, could be sooner than you think!
My first (36+6) was 6lb, 10oz. He had breathing issues and spent a night in NICU for it. Otherwise, he was healthy. The doc said he was, in fact, a bit undercooked...but was a strong kid, so he struggled less than some might. My second (37+2) was 8lb, 4.5oz. He was done ;) Well baked and a little horse! Not a premature kid at all. My third (37+6) was 7lb even and was done baking as well. In fact, I think if I had not had an abruption and she could have dropped when she tried to (36 weeks), she may have even come earlier. Given that she was floating, she couldn't dilate me efficiently.
My midwife told me that two kids are usually a pattern. One isn't really. She said if mama delivers within a few gestational days, they usually expect a third, fourth, etc to come around the same area. So I think it's good for you to prepare for an earlier delivery. And hopefully your babe will be quite healthy! I did worry about another NICU baby (not necessarily that they wouldn't be okay, but it was hard to not bond in the beginning), but I just kept hoping I wouldn't have one. And didnt :)
And yay surgena! It sounds like things are getting moving! Loose stool is always a good sign. Due date babies are fun ;) I am one!
Thinking of spinning today :( I hope she's well and all my thoughts will be with her tomorrow on her due date xx
Ditto - thinking of spinning...
Thinking of you spinning. Sending love xx
Well... this baby is officially later then my son was! We're now starting to try everything now... all the usual natural forms of moving things along...
Spinning if you read this I hope you're doing ok. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Well, my husband is back on shift tomorrow (which we were hoping wouldn't have to happen!) so he pounced me this morning!! He literally got out of bed, went downstairs, made our son breakfast and let him eat it in his bedroom, and then went upstairs and said, "RIGHT!" :o
But now my aunt is here (not literally staying with me, though) - I'm going to do some more ball bouncing, rebozo, and heck... I'll do some dancing too!
Lol! I hope it works!! Come on Willow!
Anyone heard from Lassie? Isn't her EDD very soon too? Would love to hear if her little guy has come yet!
Thoughts to spinning. I send lots of love to your family :)
Yep Lassies wee man arrived on the 22nd of May.
Thinking of u Gena hope baby willow makes her entrance earth side real soon... Much love and many labour thoughts coming your way mumma xx
I can't believe all of us are almost done having our babies. I really hope we can stay in touch. It seems like only yesterday we were complaining about ms and chatting about where we live. I can't believe how fast the time went. My little guy is 4 weeks old today!!! And we're having pictures taken of the kids this afternoon. I need something to remind me of this time. Happy and sad at the same time. I really need to stop and take a deep breath before my kids are in their 30's...
Hi girls and congrats in all of the new babies!! Just wanted to update, had my baby girl April 21st!! We are so in love with our new little one, such a sweet baby :)
How exciting for you and your family!!! Congrats!!!! I am praying everyday my DH will come around on swaying for our fourth and DD2!
Ladies I can't help but be worried, my baby doesn't seem to be growing! At 7 weeks he is only 21 inches which is in the 5th percentile for his age. His weight is only 10 pounds..also low. He has been that length since 2 weeks! Should I worry! My other boys did not have this pattern at all, in fact, they were huge for their age because daddy is so tall.
Congrats baby dust!
Hi Guys,
Firstly congrats to all the gorgeous new arrivals!
Time has flown so fast, cant believe this thread is almost wound up and finished! (in terms of babies being born)
I havnt been on here much at all but thought I'd update on the arrival of my little man, Alexander Peter arrived smack on his due date :)
16hr labour, which i had to endure after being awake for 28hrs straight! Which was a shock as with DS1 labour was only 6 hrs, so id foolishly set myself up for thinking that this labour would as short if not shorter.
But all is well that ends well, was a natural delivery, gas only. Small tear needing 3 stitches but nothing else.
Alex is a little dream, feeds well (god id forgotten how enormous milk filled boobs are!) sleeps well, I am in absolute newborn love :)
Here are a couple of pics of the little man.
Thanks again to everyone for the TTC and Pregnancy journey - you really all are a special bunch of ladies :)

Beautiful babies, everyone!
I guess I'm last. Stubborn girl is LATER then her brother! What gives?! My husband says she's just running on "Gena Time" - hurr hurr - very funny, hubby!
Also, I had more panic moments on if she's actually a girl this morning! What a goof.
And I have a cold = not cool.
