Hey ladies. It seems like today's is darker. It's the one on the bottom. I took a digital and it didn't work! I also took a wondfo and it actually seems darker than when I had my chemical. I guess I just have to wait for my bets on Friday for the real results. I'm so nervous because I have zero cramps. My only symptoms are peeing a lot and being tired. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...936c885c67.jpg

Magical I hope you start soon. Have you looked up ways to induce af? I'm not sure what that would be but I'm sure it exists, lol.
Lauren I also conceived my dd with 4 attempts and one was an IUI. I really think lifestyle is huge. It's funny because now that I'm swaying it makes sense to me which girls have boys or girls based on what they eat and do for workouts and stuff.
Good luck farmgirl. I like seeing more blue swayers. It seems like everyone has a boy already!
Princess I'm jealous drinking is good for your sway. I'd love to get drunk every night for a good cause.

Okay one more. The top is from my chemical in December and the bottom is from this morning. The bad thing is I don't know if there is anything from the trigger left. Last time it was out by day 13 and today is 14 so I hope I'm safe. Can I relax a little?http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...fe63b13e53.jpg

Lauren, as essnce suggested, if you have one (or more) day when your OPKs are clearly the darkest - that looks like yesterday, so far - I would consider just that day positive, not the others.
I don't agree with Pbn3's comment that you now know that those crappy pink OPKs are accurate. I definitely don't think they would be matching up with the FR OPKs if you'd started testing earlier. Your lines on the FR OPKs are VERY dark though, and I do wonder if you have PCOS tendencies, especially since you O late at least some of the time. Irregular cycles csn suggest PCOS, too. I'd get tested if you don't get a BFP this month, and maybe consider switching to the PCOS version of the LE diet. You are exercising, right?
Farmgirl, yay for EWCM! Go catch that egg!
Magical, maybe try drinking fresh parsley tea? I've used it to bring on AF before.
Quinn, I definitely think that is a strong, sticky bean! Congrats! Beautiful lines :)
My AF has been the heaviest and most painful it's been in YEARS. Thankfully it is better today, CD3. It makes me wonder about my lining...hopefully a nice strong bleed is just what I need. I ran out of ibuprofen and it's not sold except at pharmcies with limited hours, plus it's expensive and sold in cartons of just 20. I'd never have run out in the US. Pure helll. :(
Hi maiden I meant the opk comment as in at least she knew she was definately getting a pos opk (as in fr brand) and not just a false positive on the others. I don't recommend any particular brand strips as I don't use them :)

Quinn I really think you're pregnant!! :D Can't wait for your blood test results! :bluecheer:
Good luck Farmgirl and Princess Mom!
I hope AF arrives soon Magical. Sorry it's so frustrating for you. :(
I'm sorry you're not feeling well Maiden. AF is never any fun. I hope you're able to get some relief soon.
So I have my RE appointment next week and I'm a little nervous! Quick question: how do I explain to the RE why I'm not taking prenatal vitamins? I'm afraid of getting scolded for not taking them when I've had three losses but I don't exactly want to say I'm swaying either.
Wow Quinn that's a BFP huge congratulations!!
Maiden interesting parsley tea, I might give that a try I'm willing to try anything at the moment!! I hope AF eases up soon.
Farmgirl happy bedding!

Ksmom, mine didn't ask if I was taking vitamins. I think they just assume you are. And, like magical said, you need to take folate. If you think it might be causing your miscarriages you could try adding in a vitamin 3 days a week. How long have you been swaying again? (sorry for my crappy memory)
momamia4 Ovulation charts on FertilityFriend.com
I've been swaying since May last year. I had been taking 800 mcg folic acid but after my first loss, Atomic said to take 1600 mcg then after the second loss, she had me take 2000 mcg folate which I've been on since December. I wouldn't be surprised if I have vitamin deficiencies from doing LE for so long especially since I'm vegetarian.
Pbn3, I agree it's good that Lauren's latest two FR OPKs match the pink OPKs in terms of results, but that doesn't mean that any earlier pink OPKs weren't false positives. I just want to make it very clear that I don't consider that pink brand (Answer/big drugstore generic) trustworthy. I've seen the vast majority of women get days and days of false positives and/or very dark identical second lines. They don't reflect differences in LH level well at all. I also want to drive home the point that you can get the same result from different brands one day but not the next. This is especially true when LH levels are very high, as that will always yield a positive result. I hope that all makes sense! I have used every OPK I could get a hold of both here and in the US and seen hundreds of women use a variety of brands and it is amazing how much OPK sensitivity, reliability and accuracy can vary.
ksmom, thanks. <3 Like Momamia said, you probably won't be asked if you're taking vitamins, it will be assumed that you are. If they outright ask, you could either lie or say you haven't been goid about taking them (not a lie) and ask to have your B12, iron/ferritin, and vitamin D levels tested, those being your most likely deficiencies. Do you eat many or any fortified foods? In the US, most wheat-based foods are fortified to some extent.
Maiden- I do have very very mild pcos. How does that change the diet?
I do cardio 5 days a week for an hour or more. Will pcos effect Clomid potential or make me O later?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maiden, I don't eat any fortified foods. I have celiac so eating gluten free means a lot of rice based pastas and breads that don't have any added vitamins. I guess telling them I do take prenatals but not regularly isn't really a lie because with each loss, I took prenatal vitamins for the brief times I was pregnant.
Lauren, I would have you switch to the PCOS version of the LE diet for sure then. We are now advising anyone who even suspects they might have PCOS tendencies to do the alternate diet. For one thing, you're best off only having whole grains (except for rice, white rice is fine) and you need a bit more fat and protein than on the standard LE.
It's fantastic that you're exercising. I believe cardio has an even stronger pink sway effect in those with PCOS/tendencies.
You may O later than average (CD18 or later on a CD3-7 regimen) on Clomid due to PCOS, or you may need a higher dose in order to O sooner. I think any pink swayer who has PCOS tendencies should take Clomid or Femara if they can get it bc the drugs have been shown to sway strongly pink for such women.
Thank you! Due to working out, I've been upping my fat and protein a bit so I might b okay. If we don't get the egg, I will ask to up my dude. I'll take a OPK in a bit and hope they've faded. Maybe today is O day. That would make yesterday's early morning attempt good, although I didn't have hardly any ew left.

ksmom - honestly, I would get checked for those big 3 deficiencies then, unless you know that you are getting adequate amounts based on tracking your meals. Since iron and vitD deficiency can both cause fertility issues those would concern me especially. You may also not absorb as much of the nutrients you do consume due to celiac. How severe is your case?
As you probably know, rice based/GF foods like pasta and bread are MUCH less nutritious than the wheat versions, not only bc they aren't fortified but bc wheat has so many more nutrients than rice. Do you eat much fullfat dairy? Whole eggs? Nuts?
Lauren, I'd still switch over fully to the PCOS LE, but I'm glad to hear that you've been eating more fat & protein anyway.
I do think you probably need a higher dose based on those dark OPKs, your cycle irregularity/tendency to O late, and just the fact that you haven't Oed yet on 50mg. Are you on CD17 or 18 today?
Re: EWCM, always keep in mind that if you see ANY amount of EWCM when wiping or on your panties, it means there is some at your cervical opening. Even when you seem dry there is usually CM up there around O time. And the CM at your cervix is what really matters, in terms of keeping sperm alive and odds of conception.
I'm on cd18.... I'm totally vegetarian since being on LE. That prob doesn't help much.

Maiden at the time of my diagnosis my symptoms were severe and I had quite a bit of intestinal damage but that was several years ago. My disease has been well under control since then as I've been very strict about eating gluten free.
I don't eat nuts but I do eat eggs every once in awhile (not very often though). For awhile I was eating full fat yogurt but I stopped. I don't really know why...I think I just got bored with it. lol I do occasionally eat cheese. My diet may just be too limited to the point of not getting what I need. DH thinks eating vegetarian isn't healthy for me so he's been saying I should eat meat again but I'm not sure if I want to or not.
Lauren, I'd consider at least swapping out any lowfat/fat free dairy for full fat and eating 4 eggs a week in addition to switching to all whole grains (white rice being ok). If you're ok adding meat, have small servings of chicken up to 3x a week. I personally think it's extra protein, whole grains and plenty of fruit and veg that PCOS needs most.
ksmom, yeah, I'd 100% get those 3 deficiencies checked! And ask if there are any others that are commonly found in celiac patients. I don't necessarily think you need meat, as I know several healthy vegetarian celiacs, including women, but I do think you might increase your consumption of nutrient rich food like egg yolk, nuts, and full fat dairy. Just increase your daily minimums of fat & protein from the aforementioned 3 sources. Though you might also be a good candidate for the PCOS LE. I don't think it would hurt to switch and it may help if you do need extra nutrition.
I'm glad you've got the GF diet down. It's quite a change to make. I do 'almost' GF for DF and it's not easy. Or cheap!
Congratulations Quinn :-) :-) looks promising!!
I'm finally 1dpo..... so let the waiting begin :-p
Thank you Maiden! I will definitely get my vitamin levels checked. I haven't really been tracking my totals since my last chemical and honestly my body could probably benefit from that since I was strict with the diet for so long. I'll incorporate eggs and nuts into my diet so hopefully that will help me get whatever nutrients I'm lacking. I'm going to look at the PCOS version later and see if I want to go with that instead. It may be better given how limited my diet was to start with.
I agree, going GF is not easy nor is it cheap!! Our grocery bill can get out of hand at times with all the specialty items I have to buy. As of late, I've been trying to buy things like rice pasta in bulk to save money. GF bread is way overpriced for what you get but I'm forced to buy it as I'm no good at making my own. At least rice is cheap. haha
Good luck Kmomofthree! Baby dust to you :)
CD 8 today! I have a ton of cm this cycle! Seems my cycle is back to normal since m/c. Yay! I can't wait to be pregnant again! I just want off this diet, seriously it sucks lol. I miss meat! Now my husband been not having red meat, because medical issues, he been complaining haha, but he doing good, we also been having wine with dinner. I been having alcohol daily since Janaury.
Congrats quinn
I think taking parental 3x a week wouldn't hurt
Dude. Me too. So so so badly. I can't wait to buy some filets and let's hubs know we're expecting!

I'm scared I feel like I'm getting Aunt Flo again ! It was shorter last month:(
Cmiller1, sometimes ovulation can cause a bit of bleeding or maybe DH bumped your cervix while dtd. I think you'll be fine!! :)

Oh wow Quinn, that dollar test is definitely darker today! Where's the FRER test??????
Oh man a steak sounds sooo good. I was practically drooling yesterday making bacon for DH and the kids. lol
Ksmom, I agree with Maiden and would totally switch over to the PCOS diet, bring back chicken and white fish, and get tested for all the vitamin deficiencies that she mentioned. When I had my miscarriage I got tested immediately since I didn't feel right (depressed, cold all the time, out of breath, sleeping/napping all the time). After being on the LE diet for just 7 months and off of all vitamins except folate for a year, I was extremely iron deficient (as in should have had a blood transfusion!) and also deficient in magnesium and vitamin D as well (when I had always taken magnesium and vitamin D daily). And this is with eating meat the entire time and taking iron 3 days a week for the last few months! I had cut down on my red meat and salmon intake, but was still eating chicken, white fish, and pork on a regular basis (just 1/2 serving sizes). Having extremely heavy periods for the past decade since having DS1 and then the miscarriage didn't help. My ferritin (iron stores) was an 8 and ideal for a woman is 70-90. Low ferritin and anemia are common in celiacs as well (my FIL has celiac disease and my DS1 has the gene and is gluten free). Even now, over a year after my miscarriage and despite taking super high dose prescription iron (over 300mg a day) my ferritin is only at 46! It did get up to 69 at one point but every period seems to knock my iron stores out so I constantly feel like I'm in a battle that I can't win! Low iron causes low egg quality, which is exactly what you don't want. My best friend is a vegetarian and has low iron as well. Her ferritin is at 30 though since she doesn't have crazy heavy periods like me and she's currently pregnant so she can work on bringing her levels up without losing them to her period every month.
