Lolabelle - I think Kim and Kanye using the name sounds weird and out of place. Celebrities name their kids for shock value. It being a southern thing sounds more natural for you guys. Pbn-hahaha sorry for 1 more requirement ;) ... in that case...WyaTT, WiLLis does limit it a little! Your WiLLiam is pretty perfect besides the 3 syllable thing! I guess it depends on how you pronounce it though. I think my fellow southerners would say "Will-yum" do you say "Willi-yum" in Oz? I think Sebastian & Silas are great! My brother had a best friend named Sebastian growing up & they've lost touch...went down diff paths, so I know everyone would bring up his friend. And thank you for your positivity! I'm really really hopeful for my Sophia!!! DH's bro's wife is being induced tonight, so there Sophia will be entering the world shortly. DH hasn't even had the convo with him reminding him that is was our name too picked out years ago. He said that he will wait to find out gender, then cross that bridge. He has it all planned out as to what he'll say though.

Ash-I'm super scared!! My cousin just came to visit with her kids. She had 2 boys, then 2 girls. She brought me a silver necklace with 2 silver boy charms that was given to her & now she's passing on to me. She said she has a girl charm that she'll pass on if it's a girl. She said "and if not, we'll get you another boy." I thought it was a really sweet gesture. Her girls are 4th & 6th grade and they were saying, "girls are so fun, you can do their hair & we can give you all of our bows because we have lots." They we're just soo sweet & made me want a girl so bad! Can't believe your appt is so soon! This is going to be your girl!!! Hello everyone. Had my first scan today and confirmed there's a baby with a heartbeat 💗 in there. I felt excited all over again, as if I had just gotten my first BFP. Based on my calculations I should be 7w but doctor said I looked more like 6w. Good thing I get another scan in 2 weeks to check on progress so I'm looking forward to seeing a little gummy bear.

Since getting confirmation today I've been slowly telling more people, including my best friend. She knows how much I love my boys but also how much I'd love a girl, but man those girl-wish comments are still pretty rough. Part of me wants to be excited at the possibility of my DG and the other part wants to be cautious and not make any gender comments. And then I see my boys and think how can I wish for anything other than a boy like them? But I also don't want to think that too long and jinx myself. Aah pregnancy brain! I really think it may just be me trying to prepare myself for whatever this baby may be.
