Fish so glad you've finally had some good news, really hope you have more good news in the coming days.

Thorz cant wait to see the pics of your nursery when its all finished, i bet it will look amazing.

shiningstar congratulations on your little boy. I'm sure the moment you see him you'll fall in love with your special little man and he will be the perfect addition to your family.

Thankfully the bleeding stopped and the midwife called back (3 hours later) and said she wasnt worried but if i loose any more i have to go in. Sorry if its a little TMI but i'm pretty sure it was part of my mucus plug, surly it must be too early though?

Loving the bump pics too :) I've now outgrown most of my pants and have given in today and worn my maternity jeans for the first time. They were sooo comfy.

Dont mind my boys messy room, remember, I've been working on clearing the chaos but we have extra furniture in that room until the rest of the carpet is installed tomorrow!! Yay! But you can see the new carpet in this pic, it is so very soft and cozy! Here is my 18 weeks (well, 18 weeks according to the measurements at my 12 week scan) bump pic. I really don't have much of a bump just an all around thickness. I would much rather have a bump. I did with all 3 of my other pregnancies, but this one I am carrying so differently than with the others......

Mucus plug regenerates all the time I was losing some of mine a few weeks back but I had no blood... I never had blood in mucuos plug even before labour I pave never had the classic bloody show....


Has anyone had their weather break naturally? Its somethin I wanted this time with my first three it was done by the drs

How is everyone feeling about labour now that we are getting closer? I am so scared this time! I don't know why.... With ds3 my epidural didn't work so I wanted to just go without this time... I went fully natural with ds2 not by choice tho...

Lol that is how I was with DS3, I just ballooned up with DS3, it got to the point that I wouldn't even let the Dr or the nurse tell me what my weight was, and I would close my eyes when I got on the scale....But I had so much water weight that even my nose was huge lol! I didn't realize it until I saw the pics of me in the hospital with the baby, and I couldn't believe it, I didn't even recognize myself! Lol

I've been induced with all 3 because of the pain my hips cause me, I cant bear the pain until 40 weeks so the dr puts me out of my misery, but I want to go naturally for my last baby, we'll see though as it gets closer. My last epidural was a nightmare experience so I wont be getting another one.

What week do u usually get induced?

Yesterday when I was walking I had sharp pain down my leg and today I'm havin constant pain on my pelvic bone... Is it SPD my friend says it is cause shes had it but I'm not sure

I was only induced with ds3 and that was 39 weeks... I had ds1 at 36 weeks and ds2 at 41 weeks :s... I will have the choice to induce this time if I want but I kinda want to go by myself so I'm thinking of starting primrose at 36 weeks vaginally and red raspberry leaf tea... He's already measuring a week ahead and I'm prone to 9 pound babies so I would like to have him before kids start school and him be a tad smaller than 9 so I was hoping to have him the end of august

I got induced 10 days early with Ds1 and DS3 but I tried to go naturally with DS2 but he wasn't coming on his own and I didn't want to go over 40 weeks so we induced on my due date.

It probably is SPD but it could also be sciatica or sacroiliac joint dysfunction either way they are all painful!

Aw thorz your bump looks tiny, love the skirt too. I'd love to wear something like that but its way too cold here (plus i'm only 5'0 so look silly in long skirts). Its lovely though :)

Both my waters went but both were very different. With DS1 they went gradually over about 6 hours (my whole labour) and it felt like i was peeing myself the entire time and with DS2 they went pop right before he was born.

I'm so so scared about the birth this time too. I had an episomoty with DS1 and a bad 2nd degree tear with DS2 so i know whats coming this time. I didnt have any pain relief with either boys (apart from paracetomol with DS2) but being stiched up was so much worse than the births so this time i'm doing EVERYTHING i possiby can to stop tearing but i'm really not looking forward to it. I'm thining past it though and thinking about bringing the baby home.
