So exciting to read about all the babies due soon!
Kell - the afterpains were quite bad but nothing to get worried or scared about. Just keep dosed up on paracetamol and ibuprofen and you'll be fine and they only last around a week so they're soon done with. You'll be fine with your labour too, try and stay calm and relax and just look forward to the baby you'll get at the end of it! I kept telling myself in my head that each contraction was bringing my baby closer :D I finally had the birth I always wanted this time around and I actually feel quite sad that I'm forgetting the details!
-
Kell it's normal to have a wobble at this point - I did! You will be fine. After pains are worse the more you have. But as zanacal says don't skip on the painkillers. I thought mine would be worse. They came and went it wasn't constant pain.
Chocolate I've missed you. Hope your doing well x

i am dreading the after pains! sorry i've been awol a while, mr grey has been keeping me busy. Hoping to finish book 3 today and resume normal life! :)
-
rofl @ "mr grey"...yeah, it took me a minute to catch the fifty shades reference...when I first read it, I thought it was a weird name for your DH haha!
-
I've heard a lot about the books but haven't got round to buying yet. I'm not sure if reading them while this pregnant is a good idea lol
-
Are they worth reading? The reviews on Amazon are awful - I was going to download it to my Kindle last night but that put me off! What are they about?!!
-
The only thing I read nowadays are baby related. Reading baby talk at the mo supposed to be great for speech development. Had it almost a year and only on pg 17 so really trying to read it for dave even though it was meant for ds2. Also got all the Jodie picoult books but 'handle with care' was doing my head in. Honestly I'm to thick to read now. I can only read on the beach or by the pool (but not even then as one the brood might be face down in the water)

Don't want it to end :( Can't believe you've nearly finished book 3 Deaks....you must be a quick reader or lots of free time :) I am totally smitten with Mr Grey and I love how mysterious he is. Maybe - Im well thanks, as well as can be with 2 kiddies and pregnancy lol. Life has been hectic, just usual busy stuff but in 2 weeks its all calming down and the calender will be clear, then summer holidays - if u can still call it summer! - will be nice to chill with my boys and get ready for bubba 3.
Im really broody for this one now, keep seeing the cute naked babies on pampers ads and looking forward to having a baby again.
Still get the odd comments, my friend is expecting her 3rd girl and after seeing my boys running around said 'see DH maybe having 3 girls isn't so bad lol' - how rude! But I know its probably a defence mechanism and afterwards she probably kicked herself.
Fifty shades of grade - haven't read it or have a clue what its about, apart from maybe a saucy theme? But everyone is talking about it everywhere!
Oh yes, after pains, they were much much worse with DS2 that I was huddled over until someone offered me painkillers and they worked a treat and I hardly felt them, Ill be asking them to get the paperwork ready for the painkillers for afterwards the minute I get to the labour ward this time lol.

Hi all, been MIA a few days as girls been keeping me busy! That's our kids school hols summer started today (it's rained all day, good start!)...eek! 7wks of 'what are we doing today mum?' Had girls at Gp due to serious constipation from SMA staydown, so finally got gaviscon and told to put them on SMA gold. So just binned...£30 worth of Aptamil, Aptamil comfort and SMA staydown! FX the gaviscon works! Had my last postnatal shape up today, but to go another 2wks being a twin pg!
Lovely to hear some new bubba's will be here soon....
Sorry no personals, had a bit of a 'wobbly' day! so emotionally and physically shattered! love to u all x
