Leebug, 3 months isn't really long enough to fall pg without swaying, but practically impossible with swaying as you are making it so much harder to fall pg! Is there any way he'll extend that for you. I'm in a similar boat as dh turns 40 in September and has a cut off around that time, maybe b4 if he freaks out! Could you speak to him? Its a lot of pressure to put yourself under too. Xx

Hugs to lyngostar and sisterplease. I will probably keep testing til AF comes.

Praying for BFPs!!!! Come ON sticky babies!!!!!

I'm not sure if I will test again. 18dpo and the app on my phone says I still have 6 days till af. My cycle was always 31 days until Nov/Dec when I had a weird 50 day cycle!! Typical that it would happen just before we planned to ttc. Last month it was 39 days.

A 24 day LP sounds crazy! Are you sure of when you Oed?
-
I got a +opk on cd16. I don't temp though so I guess I could have oed later. If I oed later then I think I'm out because we only bd'd at +opk and the day after.

Hey ladies! Dpo 12 now, and had very AF-like heavy cramps on dpo 6..
That is the only thing that may indicate pregnancy, because i know now my natural cycle gives me all kinds of aches and sores.
2 hands full of happy baby dust for us all!

Sorry for the bfns ladies but don't give up hope just yet! I agree sisterplease that Nature can indeed be so cruel! I should be 1dpo tomorrow and will probably start a March 2ww thread for the newbies.

I have seen people O 2-4 days after a positive OPK, sometimes even longer. If you did O later than CD17, you still have a good shot as sperm can live up to a week under the right conditions (copious EWCM). Did you keep testing with OPKs until you saw the second line fade/thr OPKs turn negative? I often see people have multiple days of positive OPKs in a row, most commonly 2 days, but 3-6 days isn't uncommon. If you have 3+ positive OPK days in a row, often O will happen on the day of the last positive, NOT the day after a first positive.
Another possibility is that your body geared up to O when you got your positive OPK but didn't actually do so. If that happened, your body would have tried again a few to several days later. Sometimes it takes several tries to O successfully, and then you would see 2 or more positive OPKs separated by days of negative OPKs. If you have longer cycles, it's more likely to happen, and the girl diet can cause O fake outs, too. But if you don't keep testing with OPKs and/or you don't temp, you wouldn't realize it. Something to consider if you don't get lucky this month, maybe?
