Maiden- I'm so excited to check these books out! Thank you! I've read a few and loved them like Dune (although admittedly not all of the series), His Dark Materials, etc. I also have Snow Crash on my kindle and have wanted to start it for awhile. So I am excited to have lots of books to read. I normally read a few books parallel and go through phases where I only want to read a certain genre or author and then read lots of it and then need to take a break. I don't know if you have ever seen the movie Howl's Moving Castle? But the author of that (Dianna Wynne Jones) has written so many books and they are like candy. So easy to read, so many interesting ideas, I love them- although she has quite a few different styles and there are a few of hers which haven't been my taste.
Looking back on past charts I think it is possible you haven't O'd yet so hopefully the timing all works out!

Taytum- Definitely talk to your OBGYN. Yes of course our bodies need some time to regulate but when you are TTC you don't need to waste months waiting for AF. The general rule is if your cycle lasts 90 days to head to the Dr. and they can prescribe Provera and get AF going. Normally that helps to regulate the next cycle and if it doesn't hopefully your OBGYN has some good ideas to help. I conceived my first son on CD41 so I can relate to long cycles but at the same time you need to know your are Oing and do it more than twice a year to get pregnant in the first place :)
I read Divergent but felt like some aspects were so unrealistic. This is my main problem with YA fantasy/sci-fi- the bad science/fuzzy details/etc. I read the first one quite awhile ago but I remember thinking that the population size just did not make sense and with the weird factions that they all would have died out. But I had would have to go back and look at it again to really remember all the things I disliked about it. But sometimes grown up fantasy or sci-fi gets so bogged down with the details that it isn't fun for me anymore. I like to find a nice balance between the two. Awesome that you are finishing up your Master's- exciting!!
VegMom- Hi and welcome!!!I think it is awesome that you were a surrogate! Your sway also sounds great! I also have 2 boys 2 1/2 and almost 5 and swayed for about 5 months before TTC for a girl (LE diet, 60 min cardio 5-6 times a week,no breakfast, no meat, BD every 4 days) and got pregnant in November unfortunately we had a miscarriage at 12 weeks with a D&C on jan 15th and now I am back to TTC. I'm hoping to catch the first egg before AF comes (with my Dr.'s approval ultrasound showed that my lining, etc is all back to normal) but my Husband just left for a week long ski trip so if I don't O soon. I'm out this cycle. At this point I'm not doing much to sway as I just want to get pregnant! I'm skipping breakfast, eating less, have just re-started cardio but I am occasionally eating meat or fish and I'm not counting calories so I am sure there are some days I am going over protein levels or fats.
XX- I really wonder if you are just one of those women who can't get pregnant until they stop nursing? I'm very excited to see what the next cycle brings for you- especially as your charts have been so perfect!

Perfect timing with DH being out of town- DS2 threw up a ton tonight before bed and has already woken 3 times tonight crying. Gosh I hope I get at least a few hrs of sleep. I ordered a menstrual cup today since I think I am out this cycle. At least I will have the cup to try instead of tampons. I've heard such good things and I am actually really excited about it.

I have a love/hate relationship with my menstrual cup. It was love/love until my last birth, but I had some prolapse issues & when my cycle came back, it was a lot heavier. So now, it works great during the day, except I have to empty 4x/day for the heaviest days, but unless I get it perfect, it doesn't catch most of it at night. It's still awesome when my cycle gets lighter though.
I'm sorry for everyone who is out this cycle. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting that they get a BFP.

The husbands always leave at the worst times. Hope your little guy feels better soon!

I liked my menstrual cup but only when I was home- it's not something you want to be dealing with while at work. I loved it at night. I didn't have a leaking problem so being free from pads at night was heaven.

Maiden- Lauren Kate writes the Fallen series. It's really good if you like sci-fi/Angels/demons. I just ordered Passion. LA= language arts so I teach reading and writing to 7th and 8th graders. I absolutely love my job - I have the best group of kids! I'm finishing my Master's in Counseling with a specialization in school counseling. So looking at mental health and focusing on mindfulness.
I'll keep everyone updated on my OBGYN appt. I was hoping my body would do it on its own but I'd love to just know that I'm at least O'ing. I'll also keep an eye on my temps the next few days too.

I had a temp drop this morning. I had to get up a few times with sick DS2 but I did get a good chunk of sleep from midnight to 6ish so I think my temp is still valid. Either it goes way up tomorrow or I have a pity party and drink a bottle of wine with AF LOL.
2boys- I'm a SAHM so changing it shouldn't be an issue. I can understand not wanting to deal with that at work!
blueeyedguys- Have you considered trying a different cup? I've read that some women need to change to a larger or different style (shape/hardness/etc) after pregnancy for exactly the reasons you stated.
Taytum- What you want to do sounds like a great fit for you. I mean you choose and enjoy spending time with middle schoolers :D I loved lit in high school I'm sure you would have been one of my favorite teachers.
I hope everyone's cycles do just what they should and that we get lots and lots of BFPs this Feb!
