Uh yeah I'm sure, LOL. Alas I've had plenty of TTC cycles with the exact same, plus my CP is opening up so that's 100% not implantation.
The only good thing about having a cruddy LP is that moving on is faster, and I've conceived twice with an 8-10 day LP so it's not stopping me from conceiving, but I do blame my crap LP for taking longer to conceive every time. It means I only conceive when the embie implants at the latest at 7dpo. Sigh. At least Metformin seems to have made my prog levels better but I'm disappointed my LP was only 9 days again. So frustrating.
Sage- this is my third cycle getting acupuncture. I may stop at the end of this cycle and also stop using opks and temping too. If this cycle ends with a BFN, I think we may just BD every 3-4 days and just go about our lives. I feel if we are meant to have another child, we will be blessed with one. For the past several cycles we have had great timing. I know my average follicular phase, luteal phase, and period length. You know the old saying ," a watched pot never boils". That is how I feel doing all of this. I am at peace with things and am ready to move on.
Lace- I'm so sorry about this cycle [emoji20]. I am glad that the Metformin is helping things and hope that next cycle is it for you!!
FX to the ladies waiting! I hope to see more BFPs!

Great! I am pretty sure that is what I am using…I am getting a positive around when I think I would O, wait 2 days then test again and get a negative? I got these ones…

I guess I will buy the digi and test with both to know if they are working??
Lace: That's super crummy about your cycle! It looked so great with the temp rise, too! Is there anything you can take to help lengthen the LP? Vitex? I'm definitely no expert, but it does seem like I've heard of women lengthening LP using it. I love that you're positive about it!
XX: I've thought the same thing, too. This charting is literally giving me anxiety. I need to just let it go - it is interesting though since I don't really know what my body is doing and last month was the first time I've actually O'd since off BC in October. But I really love your outlook on it!
Thanks everyone. :) Meh I'm ok, it's never taken us less than 5+ cycles to get preggo so used to it taking awhile.
Taytum, I've tried Vitex and all manners of B vits before but it never did anything but mess up things worse. In my case with my PCO tendencies if my LP is cruddy it likely means my O is weak leading to a cruddy LP. So the short LP is a symptom of a problem, not the problem itself. As I said I've had two successful pregnancies and I've always had a really short LP, so in my case I'm not really too concerned that the LP itself is going to cause issues.
If anything it's a late O that concerns me more, because that usually means my body is having difficulty getting an egg to mature and ovulate and has to 'keep trying'. This cycle obviously shouldn't be the norm, so the next one should be more illustrative to how the Metformin is helping my cyle, if it is. I'll have to wait and see!
Lace-augh. how frustrating! hope next cycle is perfect for you!
Maiden-hope you got to the doctor today!
so, just had my ultrasound. i have 4 follicles that look like they are ready. i will get my BW around lunchtime. RE thinks we will probably have to ditch this cycle and do 25mg clomid next cycle. my issue is, the women on this site that have used clomid without monitoring haven't ended up with multiples. so, is the diet/exercise, lower sperm count stuff causing not all the eggs to ovulate/fertilize?? just thinking out loud and bummed. due to due date/timing, we won't be attempting again until june. depressing to think that i have to continue all these sway tactics for at least another 3 months. I know that could happen anyway, just terrible to know that it will definitely take that long...if that makes sense
Boo, limbo sucks. :( Sorry that you're not looking like you'll get a chance this month.
I have no experience with Clomid so hope someone else knows more!
Limbo definitely sucks, I know. Bfn sucks when you have a whole bunch of them in a row, but gosh all those months during our HT attempts when I was stuck not doing ANYTHING was truly sucktastic so I know how you feel. :( I do think you should ease up on the LE diet though, especially if you're gonna get Clomid. Are you at least doing the fertility LE diet? Because the regular one for so long won't help your fertility.
This sounds exactly like mine I feel like. It looks like my body tried to O, but didn't really get the job done. I'm hoping it can within a day or so and then still have a chance. I didn't have a clear temp rise last cycle until CD35. This cycle looks a little more promising at CD 21 with CM, R ovary cramping, etc. Did you conceive naturally with your previous two pregnancies? During my annuals my GP would say that it felt like I had a cyst, but not to worry as that's natural. On a u/s done in January she said there was one cyst on my L ovary, but I seem to have ovulated from my R this month and last. But there aren't many cysts as I've heard comes with PCOS? I've only been on BC since October so I'm trying not to be too hard on myself, I just hate the unknown.
