My sway was super lax I only did 7 weeks and tried not to get to worked up about it. I always skipped breakfast and drank about 6cups of coffee a day [emoji15] 1 32oz Coke Zero about every other. Chewed gum a lot skipped meat and only ate white meat if I did have it. Lost 7lbs in 7 weeks. Hubby didn't change amythkng other than he does heavy weightlifting about 4x/week.
NACIRE so glad all is well! I can't wait to hear gender!
Mofm I'd love twins!
Mofb the ring went in circles for this one and back and forth for all my boys.

4blue2pink-thank you so much for making me feel better about my feelings. It's nice knowing others can relate! I know many have 3 or 4 boys before they get their girl, but this is my last chance. I'll be 39 in Sept & this will be my 3rd c-section, not recommended for me health-wise. Very interesting to read how you got your boys vs girls! Your boy lifestyle sounds similar to mine and your girl sway sounds like what I aimed for.
Kat-thank you for that!! I always thought I'd have one of each & i f not I saw myself as a girl mom. Don't get me wrong, my boys are the most wonderful blessings! They are so full of love, laughter & constant excitement! I love them sooo much!!! Everyone is different, but 3 girls sounds more appealing to me than 3 boys lol. Guess the grass is always greener... I really do try not to live that way though... Also as far as your sway, I do believe it's a combo of things, so I wouldn't worry about not gaining weight! I never gained weight when conceiving my boys, in fact I always ate low cal/low protein, but snacked all the time. I'm so happy DH agreed to another one for you! I hope & pray it's your boy & can't wait for you to find out, but at the end of the day...it's another healthy miracle to love & cuddle!
Mum-thank you also for your words! You are a shining example of how I hope to accept the news if I hear boy. It's only human to struggle with it, but he's your healthy & sweet baby boy who needs his momma. Everyone's heart will melt when they see him [emoji170] I'm trying to come to terms with my feelings & trying to help myself see this as a positive outcome either way, even though I may not accept that immediately. Like you said...I don't need to cross that bridge yet! And twins!!! Oh always thought it would be such a cool experience!! How old are they? Also relieved to hear that your friend didnt feel sick & had girls!!
Srg-also glad to hear that symptoms don't seem to matter in many cases! I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet DS! I just can't even imagine [emoji22] You are such a strong person to keep moving forward, but of course never forget your angel baby [emoji173]I also pray that maybe just maybe your tech is wrong, but you sound like an amazing family of girls for this baby to join either way!
Momoffourboyz-dried cereal was my go-to snack lol and I always ate an oatmeal bar for breakfast. As you said, I do believe there's something very boy-friendly about those! So with the ring test, I had DH hold it above my belly since he had no knowledge of what it meant. It moved in circles which supposedly means girl! Hope there's some truth to it haha. Some people do the ring test over the hand & I think it has the opposite meaning.
Nacire-I'm always interested!! Keep updating!! [emoji173]Your little bean is adorable & glad to hear that you could see such a big change! Can't wait to hear what you're having! I asked the genetic specialist if I'd be able to see the results online, but he said no, he would be the one calling me with the results. I'm not expecting the call tomorrow, but will have the phone with me 24/7 until I get THE CALL lol. For your appt, you will most likely have a consult with a genetic specialist who will go through all types of scenarios and diagnoses and give you the chance to ask questions. He went through my family history & heritage to see if there were things that run in the family or could just based on heritage. It did open my eyes to the fact that I may need to test for the BRCA1 gene in the future! My aunt passed away from breast cancer in her early 40s, my great aunt & other aunt (all on my dad's side), survived breast cancer. The specialist said that he would be very surprised if there wasn't some type of mutation. I asked my aunt & sure enough she tested positive for BRCA1!!! What?! All these years & I never knew??? I was in my 20s then, but would've been good to know! There's a very high chance of breast cancer & some even have a preventative mastectomy (like actress Angelina Jolie). Anyway, it was a very thorough discussion & I liked the specialist, so it won't feel like a stranger when he calls with the results. It won't be just some random person from a lab in another state. At the end, you decide if you want the test & then get bloodwork done in the same day! I also got the carrier screening to see if I'm a carrier for anything. Now as far as the gender mistakes, I'm pretty sure it's not the company that finds the mistakes...he said sometimes it can be due to chromosomal abnormalities associated with syndromes, vanishing twin...but don't really know too much else about it.
Ohhh, I've been rambling all day! Sorry for the long post!

Guys!!! I did the ring test! I didn't even look at what it meant but since I'd seen it done before I went ahead and did it. After the first one I did I looked up the results. It way boy, boy, boy, girl. I did it TWO MORE TIMES and got the exact same results. After the 4 time the ring stops. I even "tried" making it stop at the 3rd or 4rd baby, but I wouldn't. WHAT THE WHAAA???

Bluebooties-awesome to hear!!
Ash-I'll update when it moves to the next slot 🤣My Mom & 2 close friends (and all of you) are pretty much the only ones that know this is THE WEEK!
Babypink-is that the one over the hand? Haven't tried that one, but sounds eerily cool! Might try it!

Lola yes over the wrist it'll switch with every kid you have. It has totally worked for me counting my miscarriage! But it's never worked over my belly

Lola yes, it was over the hand. At first I was thinking what the big difference was because the ring kinda turns as it's going back and forth but once I got the the fourth one it was very different the way the ring went in circles. I had never tried it because I don't typically believe in this stuff but I've heard it mentioned too much now to pass it up. Now it'll be really eerie if it turns out to be true!!!

Can you do it to yourself or do you need someone else to do it? I've never tried this one. Lol
