Progesterone levels are no guarantee of a BFP but levels that high are a good sign! Pre-O your prog is usually 5-10. Prog levels after O vary but are usually 10+. Anything less than 10 will usually get you put on prog if you are preg so a level as high as hers, while no guarantee of a BFP, is a very good sign :)Quote:

tfahn - why do you need your temps to go up before O? Sorry if this is a dumb question! Seems like your temps are normal pre-O temps... And I'm the same as two, sometimes I get a glaring positive out of nowhere!
AFM - I'm 6 DPO and I'm not getting the temp jumps that I usually do after O (or maybe my chart just looks weird because my pre-O temps are usually lower). And when I search charts like mine in the gallery based on temps and BD pattern, the percentage of pregnancy is low. So I'm not going to get my hopes up for this month. If we move on to next month I'll definitely be adding at least another attempt. Would you ladies add just one more attempt or shoot for BD everyday? What do you think is better for a girl sway even though neither are ideal?

I am taking clomid and the longer you are on it it starts to work against you. So, if no BFP this cycle I think I am going to go to E3D. I hesitate to do it because I did get preg last month, it just didn't stick. But my timing was good last month and agian this month and if I can't get a sticky bean then boy or girl really doesn't matter. Just something I am chewing on a bit... haven't decided yet. Hubby is getting frustrated that we are not listening to the doc and doing EOD so I am dealing with that. Plan to BD tonight. Pretty sure it will be too late to have any affect but DH is pushing fir another attempt so I figured I'd give him this one esp since there is next to no chance of it being in time to affect anything.Quote:

I don't know if this picture will upload, but I am shaking like a leaf! Is this a positive or are my eyes tricking me? I think I want to see a positive so bad that I am actually making myself see one. After a year of trying this would be such a blessing!
I think I am just used to my temps being more up and down, and it almost always goes up before dropping at O. I also fear that my hormones are out of whack with stopping breastfeeding a few months ago and that is why maybe my temps seem lower then ever, both before and after O. After I stopped breastfeeding I started to gain wait and am having trouble dropping it, so I am blaming hormones (I probably just need to eat less, lol). I think I am going to have to go on a lower carb diet ( basically give up my bread and pasta) to get some weight off as I am already overweight so I know that is not helping TTC. At this point I just want to get pregnant and each passing month I worry less about gender swaying. DH really does not have a preference, he would just like a second child. I guess if I have another BFN this month I will go to the DR and get my blood work done so I can get my thyroid and hormone levels checked.Quote:
