I had no morning sickness at all with my daughter. Maybe this is it for you. 8 1/2 weeks for your first appt is totally normally. My midwives won't see me until between 8 and 10 weeks.

Yeah :/ What is it with meat and some of us??
I got excited thinking I can eat meat again... turns out I can only eat chicken and only if it's grilled, baked, etc. (i.e. no grease- not fried). On the plus side, thanks to my difficulties eating I am back to my pre-preg weight from before the DD we lost. I gained weight during the short time I was preg with her and wasn't able to shake it, but now I am 12 almost 13 weeks and sitting at my pre-preg weight lol. Go figure. If this keeps up then by the time baby is born (and I lose the weight from baby, placenta, etc.) I'll weigh less than I have since high school. I'm already pretty close to that point as is lol.
Hi ladies - just wanted to let you know that we found out girl today. I cried a little but I think just for the fact that I'll never have a son now. My husband doesn't want to try for another and have a 3rd girl. Best of luck to those finding out gender soon. I really thought this was a boy. We did pretty much everything to a T from the plan. But I guess God wanted my DD to have a sister!
I'm sooo sorry you didn't hear boy. I had that same reaction when I heard girl the second time. I'm absolutely petrified this is girl #3. My dh was completely adamant about not trying for #3 after we heard girl the second time but a year later, he was into the idea. Hopefully that will happen for you. I can tell you, my girls love each other so much. It's really cute to watch and we've saved money on toys and clothes.
How far along were you ladies when you had your early genetic screening like panorama or Progenity? I'm 10w4d and they were going to do it but want me to wait until after 11 weeks. I'm debating whether to do it on Friday at 11w1d or wait until Monday for 11w4d.

Looks girly.
I'm horrible at reading ultrasounds but I *thought* that the second picture on your ultrasound showed a scrotum/penis? No? I have my first scan on Wednesday so what should I be looking for as far as nub shots go? And feel free to educate me if the second picture does not show male genitals!
Lol. While I hate to input my opinion because I wanted honest reads from the ladies that middle photo is more of a potty shot and can't be relied on for genital ready at 12 weeks. It is however a hilarious photo. The nub for girls is flat and more forked and boys are at an angle. My little one showed parts over and over again. But the best shot is the profile shot so the baby is flat and hopefully the leg doesn't cover anything. I'll upload my last pregnancy ultrasound for you to compare as they are both very good clear and obvious.
Looks girl to me lala! Were you swaying pink?

Your current one def looks flat. How many weeks are you lala? I have found that can make a big difference for nub theory.

12+4 is a good date for nub guessing :). I think def a girl then. How lovely! Will you get it confirmed? I am thinking of just getting a nub shot and then not confirming cos I want to be team green, but I won't be able to help myself but to stare at the nub shots anyway.

Thanks! We'll confirm it at the 18 week anatomy scan but other than that no. I feel really confident after seeing her little nub over and over for 20 mins that it's a girl. Plus the tech said she would say she's pretty certain it's a girl too. Though it's a good thing I was ok with knowing because she just blurted it out from the getgo. Lol
We go on Friday for nt scan. I'll be 12+4or 5 I can't remember. So a good time for a nub shot.

Definitely looks girly Lala :-)
Yeah to me too. There wasn't one angle where you couldn't see a flat forked nub- very different than my boy. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised- I'm always wrong. Lol. First one I thought for sure boy then 2nd was sure it was a girl and this time while I had a fleeting moment the first 2 weeks that it was a girl I was then positive it was another boy. SO it turns out, I don't even need an ultrasound- it's just the opposite of what I think it is. Lol
It's a blessing to grow up with sisters!!! It's ok it was meant to be .
Can someone explain this "flat forked nub" thing to me.... the nub looks triangular to me. I hesitate a guess as obviously I am no expert but my boys never had triangular nubs. I always heard 3 white lines means girl. Would really like to know what I am looking for as my scan is in a few hours (about 3.5).

I had my Progenity test done today! Hopefully dh will get the results back next week. He's supposed to keep the gender a secret from me but I wonder if I'll be able to tell anyway.
Now we have to narrow down our names! I don't want him to have to go through boy names if we're having another girl so we're going through a whole book and making a list of both this week.

Ok girls, April 24th is my gender scan, I'll be around 21 weeks. At first we said we were not finding out because I have 2 boys and scared I'll be upset if I hear another boy. Since then I've posted my 12.5 week scan on 3 different websites and everyone guesses girl. I have 3 full body profile shots- 1 was far away but when I took a picture of it and got closer u can see it does look a bit girly. I don't think u can anything in the other 2 scans. Hubby doesn't care either way. So would you find out or not??? I would love to know if it is a girl but would rather wAit if a boy. Hard to do!!!
I'm leaning towards finding out and if we don't want to tell then we won't. I need to buy new baby gear so gender buying would be fun. Plus some friends have girl clothes they could give me......
Any thoughts?

Yes, post the pics!
No nub shot :( Baby was uncooperative & had his/her legs crossed and is apperantly not a fan of the profile angle. We were lucky to get a profile shot but only chest and face.
But.... we got the harmony after all!!! The genetic counselor said she worked some kind of formula yesterday. Just from age we have a 1 in like 280 chance of an abnormality. BUT when she factored in my known chromosomal abnormality loss she said it brought our odds up to about the same as a 35 year old. Not good news really, except that it meant we got the Harmony test. NT scan was good with 2.5 mm measurement (3.0+ is where they get concerned and consider further testing). Also, not only are we getting the harmony test but we are getting the expanded harmony test which tests for trisomy 22, 15, 4, 1 and a couple others I can't recall due to our trisomy 22 loss. The expanded portion is more dicey and could produce false positives or false negatives at a higher rate than the basic harmony, but we felt like we want to know everything there is to know. Now we wait 10-14 days for results.
I'll post pics when I get home. Hard to take pics of the u/s pics in a moving vehicle.

My feelings are the same. I have 2 boys and would love to know if it's a girl but would rather wait until the birth if its a boy, impossible thing to ask right?? Ha! I *think* I'm going to find out for myself but not tell anyone, DH doesn't want to know so I'm not telling him if I know. He refuses to come to any ultrasounds where the gender may possibly be revealed he feels so strongly about it, lol. I am only finding out bc I want to unload some of our boy clothing if its a girl which seems shallow I know but I don't want to do it with a newborn and I know I'll never get to it later if I don't do it now. If it's another boy then I'm all set but will still by some new things bc each baby deserves their own special things too I think (middle child, second born girl talking). ;)
Now that things have been explained to me (lol) I think girl too but also bc of the time span that you became pregnant again after your last baby. That seems to sway girl I have noticed, maybe bc nutrients/minerals are lower in the mother's body? My OB/GYN told me that it takes a minimum of 18 months for a mother's body to replenish/recover from a full term pregnancy.
Either way, I'm thinking girl for you!! :)

Aw, I am loving these sweet pics of ultrasounds!! I won't even venture a guess at gender nubs Twointow bc I am clueless about them, lol. :)
I heard our baby's heartbeat for the 1st time today (I'm 12 weeks and 5 days today). It was bouncing around the 160's (which means nothing, I know!! ;) ) but it was so sweet to hear since I haven't heard one yet, my stomach is still pretty much flat especially when I lay down so it was nice to know there is a little bean with a beating heart in there. :) I go for my 1st ultrasound tomorrow. I'm so excited!!
