4blue2pink-thanks, you are sweet! [emoji173] I totally get it-Khaleesi is a cool name & I think she is gorg & always tend to associate names with people! Haha. Have any of you watched Lost? I was obsessed with that show! We didn't name our Sawyer after the character, but I'll admit, he was my favorite so it just added to my love for the name. We both loved the name & I even played Becky Thatcher in the play Tom Sawyer in high school lol. Anyway, one of the main character's name in real life is Evangeline. She is naturally gorgeous & it makes me think the name is so pretty! We go with S names & don't think I could get DH to agree to it, but crossed my mind!

Babypink-I totally get it! So many emotions running through my head as I wait for gender confirmation. Lately I've been thinking, ok I really want to hear my DG, but even more...being 38...I sure hope the genetic testing comes back ok. Every time I think about how bad I want my girl, healthy girl crosses my mind. Praying everyday for a healthy girl [emoji175][emoji166]

omg, Lola! We love Lost!! Our dog was named Desmond, and we named our angel boy Jacob (nicknamed Jack) and one daughter is Claire. Lol. We may have a problem.

Hahaha srg! Those are all great names! I really like the name Boone, especially since we were married at a place named Boone Hall Plantation. I don't think as many people would pick up on that being from Lost. Thought it could make a nice middle name [emoji12]

Srg-And now that I think of it. I had a coworker who named her daughter Penelope and call her "Penny" from the show! Do you have another Lost name in mind for this one?

Thanks for the name suggestions ladies. I am really having a hard time. I just don't like anything I hear. DH has not come up with anything yet either. Nothing sounds right. UGH. We usually have a short list of 2-3 names to take to the hospital and once we see the baby we know instantly which name to use. Or at least that is how it worked with DS3 and DS4. With DS2 we knew the name would be Samantha or Samuel and nicknamed Sammi or Sammy (Same pronunciation).

We don't really have any girl names left. I have Sophia, Claire, and Lucille, so we like older, almost French-inspired(?) names. We've almost named every one of them Charlotte, but there's no nickname for it that we like. We aren't girl Charlie people, and neither of us likes Char. After that, we're stuck. I didn't really want to repeat a first initial, but DH has convinced me that the sounds of "char" and "cla" are different. Haha

kat - I am still like that even though I feel the baby now. I just can't shake the feeling that something is going to go wrong. :( But I was like that with DS3 and he is perfect!

Kat- my 20-week ultrasound will probably be in three weeks or so, but my nub was undeniably girly and the tech said girl then. Although I've nubsessed over late rising boy nubs, I'm trying to come to terms with a fourth(?!) girl.

Kat-yay for your appt next Friday, it'll be so exciting for little bean to look like a baby! Will you try to get a nub shot? I do get worried too-it seems liked I'd feel more relaxed with the 3rd, but nope! So thankful for the Dopper too. I'll admit, I get anxious when it takes a min to find! I'll feel better (hopefully) when I get results next week! I will definitely tell all of you as soon as I know! I found these confetti poppers at Target awhile back specifically for a gender reveal-it comes with pink & blue confetti so it can be used either way! As soon as I get the call, I'm going to fill 'em up & do a reveal with DH & the boys. I told DH that I'm doing it either way...he said he would be able to read my facial expression, but we'll see. I'm going to videotape it, so maybe I'll post it here! Now as for my family...I guess that's depending on the results. I won't be very excited to tell them if it's a boy...I'll just hear "I told ya so." Poppy nn for Penelope-how cute!

I'll take whatever they give me picture wise. Last pregnancy at this appt I got 80% girl guess. I don't want that this time as if we find out (which I'm sure we will) I want tech to put in an envelope and DH to open and tell me. I'm just not sure how I'll react, thinking I'll be disappointed at first to hear girl but obviously get over it and I don't want people to see that and I'm still not sure when we'll tell others - birth or when we want to. I'll tell y'all ASAP though [emoji5]

Kat my appointment is at 11. Will your appointment next Friday be a scan? How far along will you be? I think you said you found out 80% at 13weeks?!? And this gave me huge hope for my tech guessing girl at 13+1 hope she knows what she's talking about.

Kat-it'll be so hard to hide my expression hahaha. I like the idea of putting it in an envelope & reading when you're ready. I'd totally do that too if mine wasn't going to be revealed by a phone call. I'm just going to let him lay it all out there & at least he won't be able to see tears if that's my reaction (which I really don't want it to be even if I hear boy). If I hear boy, I've decided I'm going shopping for myself & then we'll try to consider all the S boys names. Luckily, I think Saint & Stark are off DH's radar for now. We'd actually consider an L boy name, but not Landon, Luke or Lincoln since we have friends/family with those.

Just wondering if anyone has tried the ramzi theory? The placenta on the right on the ultrasound picture means they were viewing the left and would be girl and opposite for boy. Has this been accurate for any of you? I couldn't tell from my ultrasound yesterday with the nub theory because the baby was moving way to much so we couldnt get a clear enough view.

Momoffourboyz I've seen the ramzi theory proven wrong a number of times but if its just for fun why not start a thread in the u/s (then we can all sub in 😉) with your dating scan pic stating gestation and whether the scan was abdominal or transvaginal (I thought I've read one is mirrored, the other is true but I have a feeling I've also read they read the same way 😂) Ramzi is far too confusing for me but there are definitely people on here that will take a guess for you :)

Ash - mines at 8 am on Friday, but have to see my regular doctors after so might be a tad later before I update. I think I panicked y'all last time it took so long so wanted to mention that. Yes, they do a thorough ultrasound and then bloodwork so last time I left feeling confident baby was healthy. Hope so this time too. And I'll only be 12 weeks this time (I was 13 last time) but I'm hoping gender doesn't even come up bc I'm not ready yet. Last time she asked if I wanted her to guess and I said yes, this time I'll say no. But, DH is going so he might say yes. I'm really starting to think I want a boy more than him, but I just know he'll be happy if we hear boy.
Long post - having cramps lately and not liking that. Hopefully baby is just nesting.

Kat-hurry up Friday! I tell ya these waits are far worse than the 2WW!!! The cramps are prob round ligament pain. When I get up too fast, sometimes I'm like owww & have to sit right back down for second!

Kat I don't know if you remember but I had some terrible cramping and sharp pains around the same gestation. It's so hard not to worry so I wont tell you not to but I will say just look ahead to your scan, it will be here before you know it and you will come out of it relieved and confident that all is well ❤

So I seen this idea on Pinterest and since I can't draw a stick person I made hubby draw the tree and our family (only mine so far) guessed boy/girl with pink/blue paint and a finger print for leaves! Looks like most think we will have girl. If we do hear boy he is going to have one pink tree in his room.

Ash - that is such a cute idea! Almost everyone here at work keeps saying it "has" to be our girl since it is our last. Just like stabbing a knife in me when I say, "no, most likely it is a boy". They just refute it and continue on with the "hoping it is a girl for you" comments. UGH. Some people.
I keep asking the boys if they have an idea of boy or girl, and they keep flip flopping. But it is really cute to hear them talk about the baby!

Ash- I love that!! No, next Friday 🤣
Pbn- it does make me feel better. I think I'm doing to much. I try to sit and drink water. My DH keeps reminding me the last words the nurse told me were, this is your 3rd pregnancy you will have more cramps and ache more!

Morning ladies.

I always seem to start posts here with an apology for being so absent. But again, sorry. I took some time off the Internet whilst we waited for the NIPT results because I was driving myself mad.

I woke up to the results this morning. Baby is healthy. The risk is less than 1:10,000

I've been crying like a baby for about an hour. Lol.

*whispers* I also know the gender. They weren't supposed to include it but I guess they did. ❤️

4blue1pink Hooray!!! So happy to hear this news. Are you going to hold out on us?! Do tell do tell!!!

Hey ladies. I just saw this thread. Was swaying blue but got a surprise BFP (I was out of town during my fertile time.) So I am here probably expecting my third girl. My Due date is March 31st so I will probably straddle this and the other thread in April. Any other blue swayers here too?
