well, this AM got a negative on FRER..what now?
I'm sorry. When is AF due? Maybe you didn't have enough urine this am? or the test was somehow damaged?
I would wait (and test each day) until AF is suppose to arrive. That is your best bet. If it comes, then I think you probably had a chemical. But, if it stays away, then see your doctor to test to confirm a pregnancy. Hang in there....after my 2 chemicals I know how disappointing this feels right now...but you still might be preggers...so don't count yourself out just based on one test. OK?
ok ,retested with FRER ( bought new box)..the results are the same as yesterday.
Im gonna call dr. to do bloods...AF was due either Saturday or Sunday
oh, good!!! yes, I would go see your doctor and have the blood tests!! GL!!
how are you mydream?
I read about your chemical, mydream. I am so sorry. Praying for you... I read that a chemical will sway pink.
IlundGirl and Kraisy, how are you girls doing? Hoping AF stays away!
I had lots of PG symptoms and AF came 2 days late. I hope it was the Vitex affecting my cycle. This time, I am not going to trust any PG symptoms... it just plays with my mind!
Hi mygirl -- I have ZERO symptoms this month...AF should arrive next week. ARGH. Oh well...will just keep on trying (at least a few more months)...I honestly don't think it's meant to be for us...sucks.
Don't give up hope ILindGirl! Over and over I see girls here getting BFP on the month they have no symptoms, or they think AF is coming.
:luck:

Temp is below cover-line and spotting so AF is here I think.
Ohhh kraizy I sorry :(.
I pray We are gonna get a BFP next month!!
thanks so much mydream, I pray for BFPs in May as well. Wanted a Christmas baby, but a New Years baby will suffice.
:hug2:s mydream!!!!
Bumping for those who were asking about a group :-)
I'm always losing forums...sigh. I can't remember if I've ever posted here.
edited to add: I HAVE posted here. I'm a crazy lady. But next time I probably won't be swaying. I'll be going high tech (maybe. I told you I was crazy), so maybe this isn't the appropriate place for me.
Thanks for bumping...I didn't know this one existed. And showed up at the most opportune time cuz I just got back from my prenatal appt and I got the whole "over 35" lecture about downs syndrome and other chromosomal defects...and now I'm STRESSED. What was I thinking? I'll be 40 soon, and I'm still having kids? Doc says something like 1 in 85. My nuchal screen is in 3 weeks and of course I was offered the amnio but I have always turned it down because of the 1 in 200 chance of miscarriage. You know there's really nothing anyone can say to ease my fears either.
Just venting...if anyone has any similiar experiences would love to hear them!
Anchor- your not going to like what I have to say. I conceived DD with downs. I was 35. I did the cvs which is supposed to be less risky then amnio.
My bloods came back like 1 in 20. I was the one it happened to. My heart is still broken. If u would have a baby regardless of chromosome issues then don't even bother testing.
I'm sorry H&D,
But, thanks for your post, I do appreciate it. Apologies if I am prying and feel free to tell me to MMOB - but did you terminate? I have never tested in the past because I had no intention of doing so, but I do understand people who do, and might even be there myself because of my age.
Were you swaying? It probably doesn't make a difference one way or the other...just that I was swaying for egg health this time around, not boy or girl. So RJ/BP, folic acid, fish oil, all those.
Hugs to you...
Anchor, I've been thinking about the same thing. I'm only 7 weeks, but this is baby number 5. And it may sound horrible, but there is no way I can take care of a child with special needs on top of the 4 I already have. I'm really debating on cvs. I have to talk to my doc when I see her at the end of this week. This is scary stuff.
We can only get CVS here if we have a history of chromosomal defect. So amnio is my only option, which I will do if my nuchal comes back with a high chance. And amnio is at like 18 weeks! I am freaking out a bit...let's hold hands.
Hi Ladies, Do they automatically suggest an aminio or CVS if you are over 35? I know with my last they did that 13 week nuchal, but that seems standard now. I usually see midwives so I bet they really wouldn't offer the extra tests.
They don't automatically have u do cvs or amnio. It depends on how bloods come back. And of course it's a choice. I did not want a special needs child. So yes, anchor I terminated. I never say it even on here bc I really dont want to be judged. I do not believe my dh is cut out for it (or me) and didn't want that for by boys. I was unlucky. Does not mean you ladies will be.
I was not swaying. It was an oopsie. I was exercising like a mad woman, losing weight. And it was a pull out. No idea of timing. Kinda of an sway but didn't plan or know it!!
Because I went through this and dh saw my heart break in pieces he's willing to do anything to help get a girl for me. Including HT and spending $ we don't have.
Thanks 3men. I appreciate it. Leaning towards trying naturally this cycle and have my appointments lines up in case of another bfn.
Thanks all.-I had a feeling they wouldn't even offer unless, as you suggest, blood comes back off. Don't even have a BFP yet, so I guess I need to worry about that first
Well said 3M and H & G. I think everyone has the right to not be judged for making the best decision fro their family and situation.
Personally, I wouldn't get amnio unless my blood came back abnormal. Just to give you mature mamas a little hope, my blood came back as me having the risk of a 19 year old - 1 in 2000 or something like that...and I'm turning 38 in a month! My midwives say they don't really consider you high risk these days until you're over 40 anyway (I'm in Canada too).
And HopeandDream - :hug2: for everything you've had to go through.
Hi Ladies, I would love to chat with some other ladies over 35 in regards to swaying. I am 38 and DH is 42. We have one DS who is nearly 3. We left it later to start our family and I sometimes regret that now but what is done is done. I would love to have a DD so here I am trying to sway. My biggest concern is the frequency/timing - either FR or abstain. Due to age abstain is out but I find the FR is not really working for us. It would be great to know what other ladies are planning.
I wanted to also say I think this is a great forum for us to come in and talk freely about how we feel and what we are scared of and no one will judge us. HopeandDream, hugs to you. Thank you for sharing with us.
How is everyone doing?? Oing today and praying for my DD!!
Hello ! Just checking in here though this thread doesn't seem very active . I just turned 39 and DH is 42. We're going to start our pink sway in a couple of days with a view to ttc in September. I think I should be concerned re fertility though we had no problems getting pregnant before but I was 29 and 32 but I suppose we'll see.
A lot of times if one person starts typing, then others show up! Hi and welcome!! I got my DD at 41!
Hello ! This is a great forum well done :-)
It took me a while to realise that you have a little girl now , how lovely for you !
I have a notion that being older sways pink anyway so hoping that's in our favour.
Hey Thax , when are you starting your sway ?
Im not sure. I was thinking this month. I may have one attempt this month, but maybe next month. This is my first PPAF since having DS, and I havent started the diet properly yet either, so it may be a bit early to have a go! What about you?
Hi, I'm having my first attempt in 2 weeks. Hoping it'll be a bfn tho as still struggling with the diet. I'm 37 & dh is 38. He has a 16 yo son also, so he kinda wants to be done ttc in the next 6-12 months x
