I am 17 weeks today, my due date is January 30th (My birthday!) I have C-sections, so I get to choose if I want to have it on the 25th or 29th.....kind of fun :) My nausea is almost gone, and I am starting to get anxious about our U/S in 2 weeks. My head says a boy makes sense, we have more boy toys/clothes and the baby will be closer in age to our 5 year old. My heart says a girl would be awesome, we have a daughter who will be 11 when the baby is born, and she doesn't like being the only daughter :( With our other children we didn't find out the sex until they were born, so I don't know why I can't even wait until 19 weeks to find out if this is a boy or a girl! I am so impatient!!!!! I am new to this site, but am excited to be a part of it :cool:
Thanks pink carol, I definitely won't do amnio. Unfortunately, Maternity21 isn't available where I am (at least that is what two doctors have told me) and I opted not to get the regular blood test, b/c it isn't as accurate as I would like - and if they did find something, they would want to do an amnio. And what if it turns out to be nothing? Not going down that road. So, no testing for me.Quote:

hi i feel the same my scan aint till im 21 weeks tho :( so i still got a little while to go im due 29th jan 2013.. i have 3 girls already a little girl will be nice as i have all girl stuff as i have a 6 month old baby so if its a girl she can have most of my little one stuff... but then i would love a boy as there's no boys in my partners side in 25 years so that be really nice and il love to have a boy :)... iv got 100% boy guesses on my scan but i dont want to get my hopes up lol.but either way the baby will be loved and we will be happy as we wasnt planning on having any more just yet hehe...
