I would have preferred to wait a few weeks because anything can happen this early, but I told my mum on saturday because she is visiting from next week so I would have had to tell her anyway. My DH called his dad on holiday in thailand to tell him on saturday too. He wants to tell his whole family. I said to him this is fine but he will have to go back and tell them if anything goes wrong. Plus all the friends we saw at the weekend, I thought we woudl keep it to ourselves but he wanted to tell them. I would like to keep it to myself until I go for a private scan at 7/8 weeks to see the heartbeat.
Nothing new to report. 6-7 dpo. My temps are going up nicely. I'm going in for a progesterone test later today. I hope to join you BFP girls in a few days!
When I was pregnant with my boys we always told our parents right away, told more people after the first appt. where we saw a heartbeat, and announced it to everyone else at 12 weeks.
Cd 21... OPK still very very not positive.
Taps foot patiently.
I'm due back at work at the beginning of September and as I've been pregnant the last 2 times that I have returned from maternity leave everyone is going to ask me if I'm pregnant. I'm crap at lying. I really hope I will be. Only 3dpo.....already bored of waiting. Things seemed to have gone quiet here the last couple of days too. Guess everyone else is patiently waiting too!
Thanks all! Got digital confirmation today, so it feels real. :) (Though dh still asked, "any chance the test is wrong?" Ha! Men.)
I'll tell my mom, just because she'll know something is up when I don't drink at our regular Wednesday Wine & Cheese night. We're having a big family party this weekend, and while I'd like to wait to tell them all, I have a feeling it may slip out. Especially if people start handing me cocktails and I have to decline.
Well, I'm back again this month. AF started today, right on bloody schedule. (Pun intended, LOL). Sigh.... oh well. We did an aggressive sway last month and i think I may have jumped the gun and done our attempt a little too soon (2 days before O), so I knew it was a long shot, but it still sucks. But at least it was our first month TTC so it's not like the BFN have been piling up on me.
I am enjoying a glass of wine tonight and committing myself to get back on track with the LE diet. We are sticking to all the supplements (vitex, SP, aspirin, and antihistamine for me, peppermint and OLE for DH), but we are going to increase the time between our attempt and when I use the repHresh to 24-36 hours, wait about 12-24 hours after positive OPK since they stay positive for about 2 days for me and my temp rise doesn't typically occur until the 2nd day. We are going to just do regular release (probably every other day or every 3 days) and one attempt. We are backing off slightly, but just ever so slightly. Being patient sucks, but hopefully it will be totally worth it!
Good luck to everyone swaying this month!!
Sorry to hear Christi - enjoy the wine!! Still sounds like a full sway - good luck for the coming month, hope you are successful :)
Sorry have done a main post too, but cd48 here and no sign of ovulation :(
