We don't know for sure because if people are doing the standard LE Diet when they should be doing the PCOS-type diet, that may make them more likely to conceive boys, but this doesn't necessarily translate to those who don't need the PCOS-type diet, if that makes sense.
We have gotten great results with PCOS-type diet BUT the catch is - it's harder to stick to, it is way more expensive, and it will make people lose tons of weight if they don't need to be on it. I would definitely experiment with having everyone try that diet, but those things keep me from doing so.
But you can absolutely use some of the foods - although can you tell me what you think "PCOS foods" even are?
Yes gluten free can be a challenge to combine with the PCOS-type diet, because many gluten free foods are fairly high carb.
