Really ? Atomic has lately been saying that for blue , longer diets is actually showing less success than short term blue diets . 4-6 weeks is showing better success than 6 months . For pink though the longer the better.

I am currently pregnant . I did the diet for 2 months though . No way I could do 6 months . Way too much salt and extra calories ! I only ask because a couple of the supps I started at the start of my bfp cycle so I was only on them for a couple weeks and was wondering if that even made a difference but I did the diet and prenatals for 2 months .

I haven't been putting too much emphasis on salt, but I've definitely added a full teaspoon (which is alot!) as a supplement in my mineral water daily on top of what is usually in my food. I also eat alot of hot sauce which is just vinegar with tons of sodium lol, so I sure do hope thats enough.
The diet is definitely very calorie dense to continue for a long period of time. I eat zero junk and zero empty cals and I've put on weight quickly. I hope I get a bfp this cycle and be done with it lol. It will be exactly two months of diet at my first attempt.
I will be continuing my supplements throughout pregnancy, just going to eliminate the snacking.
I edited my previous post with a picture of the chart showing 1-4 weeks is best on the diet , 5-8 is a close second and anything above that is hit or miss .
I'm so glad I got my bfp , I did not want to be on that diet any longer . I love food but I don't love the weight that comes with it . Even if it wasn't junk food , it was still more calories than I'm used to on a daily basis .

Wow, I'll be right at the 8 week mark on my fertile window LOL! Thank you for that @Cnburke!
I also added a spoon of salt to a cup of water when I was swaying for my DS1 , put I added a table spoon not just teaspoon !! I know alot ! But I did that only on my bfp cycle starting from CD1 , because I was freaking out that I didn't get enough sodium!
I will try the hot sauce this time on my next cycle , Although Im not fan of it ! (I remembered that a lot of boys mom around me are fan of the hot sauce !! )

Oh God! How did you manage?! I can barely stomach the salt I added haha! I dilute it quite alot in my mineral water. I'm trying to think of where else I can add salt where I won't notice it too much.
I'm pretty sure atomic has said the sodium isn't super necessary. I mean, at its core, if we're doing HE that's not a "mineral" diet that's been more debunked. I've definitely incorporated more sodium, too, but I also was practically phobic about it when I conceived my DD, so I thought if anything it could help me anyway (since I often have low BP, especially postpartum and during pregnancy).
I know we're supposed to "eat smarter, not harder," but I'm getting in that place too. Even though TTC boy while breastfeeding used to be okay, now atomic seems pretty against it for TTC boy, or just postpartum in general.
Since I got super oopsy pregnant at 3 months pp, I feel like I don't want to be caught out again and would rather just try -- especially since that loss really made me want my future boy even more. I'm just saddened -- I feel some blue swayers were not even a year out but their sways are supported, but others are almost chastised for wanting to try again soon :( This isn't going to go away for me, especially post-loss.
It's hard to resist going back to eating less. I've honestly thought, "I have to get pregnant or I'll just go back to starving"... and even thought, "I can't wait until I'm pregnant and can just be nauseated and not eat for a few months." :|
