Hi all - I'm back :) I totally disappeared I know. One reason is that I, like others have said, haven't been getting tapatalk notifications from this board the last several days. Was wondering what was up - thought maybe the board hadn't been as active, but, yup it has been! Second reason, things have been just crazy for me the past few weeks. My husband is gone on a work trip for nearly two weeks - he gets back on Friday, thank the Lord... So I've been managing my two littles on my own. The miscarriage bleeding stopped after about a week and while I've only casually checked my temps lately, I managed to catch the temp shift and according to that, I ovulated again last Friday - exactly 14 days after the miscarriage started. Not even remotely surprised by that as my cycles are like clockwork and I knew everything would return to normal pretty soon, which is seems to have done.
I've also been absent b/c I've been dealing with a fun and exciting new body issue that has consumed my attention - uterine prolapse!! (So, obviously I'm kidding about the fun and exciting part... more like terrifying and annoying!) I didn't even know what prolapse was until about 3 weeks ago, when one night I felt a bulge (sorry, TMI) in the V right before my m/c started. Seen the doc twice about it and he's basically said, well, you've had two vaginal deliveries, it's super common, unless you have surgery it'll be there... not life threatening nor should it cause a big problem in another pregnancy (although another pregnancy might make it worse). Has anyone dealt with prolapse before? I have a DVD that teaches pelvic floor strengthening exercises which I'm doing nightly and feel like it's helping a little, but I don't know for sure.... It's not *terribly* severe, but I feel it, and it's bothering me. My cervix is lower than normal too now - not sure how that affects ttc again... Guessing if anything it will make it easier to get pregnant since the sperm have a shorter path now (although that also probably means it will "sway" boy).
I also talked with my doctor today about ttc-ing again and the miscarriage, my cycles, etc. He is going to do tests next cycle (hormone blood tests) pre & post ovulation. He's doing this b/c of my chronically short LPs and the recent miscarriage. He said if my progesterone is low he'll put me on supplements, and he said "or you may need a medication that just helps you ovulate better", which I assume means Clomid. So that will be interesting. I had a short LP when I conceived both my boys and it didn't cause a problem then but I'm glad that he's taking it seriously now after the m/c and will check things out... And if I get Clomid, hey, that'll be great for my girl sway :) Only thing is we were going to maybe start trying again in my next cycle (which should start next week) and with the tests he's running I guess we may have to wait, and ugh, I'm tired of swaying, dieting, not being pregnant!!! Only consolation is that my cycles are short - 24 days - so I wouldn't have to wait THAT long, but still.
Hugs and best wishes to all!
Happylea - glad you're feeling better!!
Mtolbert - keeping my fingers crossed for you w/ your Harmony test!
Pinkmama - hugs!!! My progesterone was at a 9 too with my recent m/c... Hoping your pregnancy has a better outcome!
LMSM - wait, you're having a girl!?! When did you find that out???? CONGRATS!!
Samish - Ugh dizziness is the worst - hope you're better soon!
Mummy and babybleu - hugs to you both!
Robin - any news???
Pbn thank you for keeping up with all of us! You're so sweet!!!
Where is Mommy? Haven't seen any posts from her lately either!
Did I miss anyone?
Anyone figure out what's going on w/ tapatalk?

Just a very quick post, will catch up later as I'm late for work [emoji33] ABC, I've also got a prolapse, it happened when ds2 was 2 and I was still breastfeeding. Will tell you more about it later.

Pinkmama so sorry I didn't respond earlier! Its been a crazy day! So I want to say don't read anything into this first beta being low! You may have only implanted a few days days ago remember! Your hcg at 8dpo was less than one (not pregnant) and at 13/14dpo is 15. It will be low! It's the next result that counts and I'll have everything crossed for a result of 30 or higher [emoji3] guard your heart but don't give up hope even if your ob sounded less than positive [emoji173] I'm feeling quite positive for you [emoji3]
Abc my god its good to hear from you! I had only just stopped checking in your chart a coupme days ago! But yes that is quite a temp rise and would make sense that you have indeed oed. Be interesting to see it confirmed over the next few days! Also whay a great doctor appt you had! I nearly want to say 'wait and see if you get clomid'! but totally understand just wanting to concieve again and fast. It is a very strong sway tactic though so definately something to really think about holding off for [emoji53]
Mommy2apples is taking a little break from the thread but I'm sure she'll be back soon.
Mummy2boys how are the opks looking?
Robin how is the testing going??!!

ABC, wow prolapse sucks..am pretty sur et my organs are definitely not as high or tight as they used to be..are the exercises like Keggles? Glad your body seems to have bounced back following the m/c, that is encouraging! Fx you won't need the tests and get your BFP this cycle!!!
Oh and yes, it's a third girl- a bit disappointed but coming to terms with not getting my boy ;) we did the Nipt and got results on Friday...Bub seems free of trisomy so that is a relief, have my scan on Tuesday. !

ABC, I know the prolapse is very common among women who had vaginal deliveries. It shouldn't make any difference in terms of TTC
Pbn, thank you so much for your encouragement! I really do hope that's the reason. I'm tired of the waiting and not knowing. I think maybe I hurried my body into another pregnancy after my mc in July. I'm worried it's my own fault. I haven't even told DH about the positive. Just waiting it out, only my parents know
So you guys are a big help!
Thank you ladies!

I am just waiting on AF now. I am hoping today she comes. Id like to get the next cycle started. I am now doing a higher dosage of Clomid... if I can get some as It's discontinued. [emoji53]
I also am not gettung notifications lately!

I'm sorry Robin [emoji853] was so hopeful this would have been your cycle! Hadn't heard of clomid being discontinued???? I know there was a shortage last year but as far as I knew supply was back to normal! Well in Australia in any case. Did your pharmacy give you any indication why?

Clomid discontinued?? That's weird! I mean, to discontinue such a popular/used med there must be a reason. I haven't read anything about it. I will do some research. Good luck Robin, I hope AF comes soon for you.

I know. I have no idea what's going on. All I know is that the manufacturers are no longer making it. Or so I've been tild.
I think I'll have to go onto injectibles next cycle if this one is also unsuccessful
My temps dropped this morning. I am hoping that means she's on her way.

Stupendous September 2ww
A friend of mine who is a Pharmacist sent me this when I asked him what was going on with Clomid in Canada.
https://www.drugshortagescanada.ca/discontinuance/3787
He said that there is not much available at this time but it looks like the current manufacturers are discontinuing it. He said usually another manufacturer picks up the slack there hasn't been any additional information released yet. Also, additional strengths may still be available (25mg or 100mg).
