TTC boy this summer... sway buddies?

Sounds good ,ladies!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!! 2ww is awful!!!!!! --- now that i have my bfp, my mind goes right to what if its another girl? haha i dont wanna feel disapointed. I havent called for an appt yet, i was waiting for my lines to get darker... i guess im kinda of in denial still.

what do you guys think about our BD's. I got a postiive opk, we BD the day after(trying to get as close to O as possibe , then the next day and the next day... same time.. we gave it 24 hours in between each so sperm could regernate :-p i cant help but be nervous that its another girl... which i would LOVE reguardless but we need a little boy in this house <3

im also having some anxiety already... with feeling off. Ive been mildly nauseous here and there usually if i let myself get hungry, but i am also having bad hot flashes, and times when i feel weak & shakey :( makes me anxious and scared to go anywhere. Im petrified of how im gonna feel in a couple weeks :( we go on vacation Aug 25 -- i will be 7 weeks, so it should hit me by then but im HOPING and praying NOT.

tkelly, I can so understand you with the thoughts on another girl lol but at some point "it" has to work finally right? I mean, we deserve it :cool: And just when I was wondering how many girls a family could possibly have, I saw a show on youtube where a family had 12 daughters!! One son. And I was like come on!

I'm also having quite the same symptoms (almost 6 weeks now) mild nausea, hot flashes, tiredness and feeling weak at some moments. Crazy enough I hope this changes to "stronger" symptoms in a couple of weeks haha because with my girls I had nothing more than that the entire pregnancy.
But I hoe for you that NO more symptoms come up!! Especially not in your vacation!

Also girls last night we could not BD as husband was sleepy and tired. I now just have wet feeling but no ewcm. Do you girls think we should BD tonight as well? Now I am thinking should have BDed last night :(

blue-dream when was your +OPK? Did you ovulate already? Do you use the temping method to confirm ovulation?
I remember reading in one of atomic's essays that 24h after ovulation the egg starts to die if not fertilized by then. So IN MOST CASES no need for BD more than 48h after +OPK because NORMALLY eggs comes within 24h after LH surge. BUT the thing is, if anything gets messed up with ovulation and it gets delayed, you are on the save side to keep on BD every other day or so after the suspected ovulation for some days.

So the very best timing days are: (O-3, O-2), O-1, O, (O+1) in this time frame you should get at least 3BDs.

did you use guaifenesin tablets/syrup?

Hi aira22 I don't temp. I only use CB digital purple one. Got a smiley on Friday morning. BDed Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday afternoon. On Sunday had lots of ewcm and end of the day it was just watery. Today - Monday is almost dry now.

Also as per FF I ovulated on Sunday. This is just based on the color codes. It was same even last month but didn't conceive last month. Could be because of very less or no ewcm during sex.

So you think I should BD tonight or wait till tomorrow and just carry on with EOD this week?

IDK about you since we always talk about that first positive but I tested my entire fertile window during those 3 months + and OPKs stay positive for a total of 36 hours at the very least. The positive comes in the afternoon, is still there the day after, still there the morning after and disappear around 3 pm.

I don't believe in different symptoms meaning the other gender anymore. DD1 and DD2 were as different as night and day. Couldn't eat much with DD1 and had massive pregnancy symptoms : nausea, rash, stomachache, cramps, pain in my legs so strong I could barely walk, insomnia... DD2 was a walk in the park and I desperately craved salt. Because of that, DH was pretty sure it was a boy (that and Shettles timing). In the end both were pink.

Ok now I am with you Sora in the 2ww. Managed to sneak in BD last night. Now will just take it easy for 2 days!

good luck blue-dream! If your o was on Sunday, then you got 4 attempts in the fertile window. That's very good!!! :fx:

What do you all think about an attempt when sick? Does that favor girl? Today is O day, but I was sick with a high fever yesterday so no attempts. I feel much better today, fever broke in the night, but i don’t know if this cycle is already ruined. As it is, we could get an attempt tonight but hubby wakes too early to try in the morning also.

yes, you are right, that can be sometimes... no one knows when it really happens. Each body is different and sometimes o won't happen even after seeing +opk because of stressful events and you would get another +opk some days later.... Only thing that helps is temping, so one can confirm it has really happened at some point.
