Hmmm, about your opks....they are only truly positive when the test line is easily darker than the control, although some ladies get one that looks identical to the control line. The day before mine turns truly positive, I get one like you describe where the test line is like a fade, with a dark strip and the rest is lighter. I definitely get fade-ins for a few days. I've done enough of them now to know my fade-in pattern to a T, and I only use internet cheapie opks from earlypregnancytest.com. (Although I only use FRER hpts.) Hopefully that digi will help you nail it down. I hope that answers your question!
