yay PP is back!!
Ok my pictures need a good look!
My scan went well!! The baby looks healthy, and the doctor seemed really pleased with everything. He said everything looks really normal and measured great, and the baby looks healthy.:) I am so happy!!
I told the tech I didn't want to see the gender, and she was really good about telling me when to close my eyes. I hardly watched the scan at all, even when she told me I could, because I was so terrified I would see something!! She made me a DVD, but told me not to watch it until after the birth, so I wouldn't ruin my surprise.
We hadn't told DS about the baby, so he had no idea what was happening when we went into the ultrasound room. When I lay down and the tech put the wand on my tummy, he said, "Look, there's a baby! Mom, no wonder your tummy was looking pregnant!" It was funny, like he thought none of us knew what had been going on until that moment when they took a look inside and saw a baby. :) Then he said, "I hope it's a boy!" ("So does Mom," DH told him). When I told him it could be another sister, he said, "That's okay, now H (DD2) will have someone to play with." Later, though, he asked again about the baby being a boy, and I said I didn't know, but that it really could be a girl. He got a little sad, and asked why his wish couldn't come true, because DD1 had wished for a sister and got one, so since he wished for a brother, he should get one. :( It made me really sad. :(
Anyway, I have a couple pics, but I am afraid to post them, because I am afraid I will get girl guesses from the skull.
p.s. She said my placenta is posterior and it is right and center. Does that mean anything?
PP, I can't believe your baby gave you such a hard time!
Have to use my phone as can't get on the computer at the moment. I had my 12 week scan this morning and I left as one very annoyed lady. The woman would not give me any good pictures. I have zero nub shots. I even asked and she said they are not allowed to give pictures of that area. So frustrating. I have 3 frontal/facial pics where bub looks like an alien and a leg. She got really stroppy when I asked for a nub shot and would not let me even see that area on the screen. At the beginning I thought I might have seen a boy nub but bub was upside down so it was really hard to tell. So on a positive note baby looks healthy and was cery wriggly. Anterior placenta and HR 158. I am just bummed I didn't get any good pics. Not even any cute pics to be able to show DH who could not be there.
Look forward to having a look at your pics Purple. Good news Hobber. And GL in a few days TTC5.
Bummer, Peony! I wonder why she was so rude about it? Glad baby was healthy--that's most important, right?
