That is why I am so happy with my doc after 2 midwives after scans telling me that this baby is measuring a week ahead and recommending my due date be changed accordingly. As I am hoping for a VBAC and if my dates were brought forward I would most likely go a week overdue and be pressured into having a section. My ob believes that I know my cycle better than a stranger so is happy to keep me at 8th July. Some babys just grow faster
-pearl- Sounds like you have a doc that listens, sooo important. Good luck on the VBAC! My sil had a vbac2 but they are not soo vbac friendly here so she showed up to hossy a pushin lol.
No Atsaukina she had them by cs. It may have been discussed but she personally didn't want to go through having one vaginally and the other possibly getting stuck. One was breech. She grows big babies too. Her daughter was almost 10 pounds. But she ended up with a separated pelvis. Walker and therapy so I don't think she wanted to take anymore chances. Her doctors kept telling her she wouldn't make it to the 38 week due date and she didn't. But they very well could have decided to let her go to 40 if she had wanted...which I'm almost 100% sure she didn't, lol

hey maple we found out on wednesday at 12+5 scan! massive shock! they are fairly sure they are fraternal they are almost exactly the same size and it looks like there are two placentas however they are right next to each other so they couldn't be totally sure!
sorta sad they're not identical but i know it's better for them and gives me a 2 out of three chance of a pinky if you see what i mean ;-S
I'll still in shock how are you feeling now you've had a bit longer to adjust? your boys are a tiny bit older than mine, feeling a little overwhelemed this week tbh!!
hey praying4pink & atsaukina, thanks good to hear others experiances,
initally i was really upset that my home water birth dream was over, i went to local baby club on firday and lot of the ladies had had elective c section, but lots had also had medicalised conceptions so I think they changes your point of view a bit......i hope to avoid medicalness as much as possiable but having met these mums it really brought home that the three of us being safe is the main thing
i have an appt with the hospital consultant on 18 mar so hopefully will all be a bit more clear after that
