Ha diva I know I'm too late! You could've had my pink dust seem to ooze it! My last girls were twins but def only one in here thisimetime and clinging onto hope its boy. Looking into every symptom too getting obsessed!x

Finally I have time to write (I am back at work) The sonographer was 90% positive it's a girl :-) :-) He didn't give us a potty shot which is a bummer. But it's a high percentage and it made us very happy. I can't believe my dream will come true. I will probably only believe it when the little one is born :-)

I didn't even ask the tech to look, I was just really enjoying watching the baby bounce around. She then went to make some measurements and it was very obvious that it's a boy! I can't believe it but I honestly have hardly been able to stop smiling. I'm not sure if it's just adrenaline from finally seeing him and knowing I have a healthy baby or what but I have yet to feel any kind of sadness. I keep waiting for it to hit but I'm just honestly beaming at the moment. Tomorrow is our gender reveal party and I'm so excited to share the news with family. I'll be making cupcakes, half iced in pink and half iced in blue. They will all have a blue filling and I'll ask everyone to choose the cupcake with the colot icing that they think the baby is then everyone will bite into their cupcakes and see the blue filling!
I'm sure I will have my "down" moments to come but for now I'm so relieved to be in a great place:bigsmile:

Thank you Thorz. I honestly think part of my excitement is just being happy that I'm happy lol. Not sure if that makes sense. I went thru such a rough go of GD with DS3 that I'm just relieved to feel all the excitement again that was robbed from me last time.Quote:

Southern--your attitude is amazing! I feel like a doofus over here because I have my moments when I am still pouting and stomping my feet that I didn't get "my" girl. Months ago we briefly considered a gender reveal party as well but I knew I'd be struggling if it turned out to be a boy and I didn't want to be so vulnerable in front of everyone. As I said, I am SO happy that you are excited and that you get to have a great party!
OK ladies, I am new to the DIY stuff, but I really enjoy it. I have been really unmotivated since getting pregnant and having all this cold gloomy weather here in Ohio. I decided to work on another project today and I must say it is really nice to be productive. A while back my husband and I bought our first home and it is quite a fixer upper and I have loved working on it. Everything that has been done on this house I have done myself because my husband is never home (except he did help me on the floors) anyway I just wanted to say that I am excited to start getting some energy back because I have a TON of projects left to do on this old house. What are some of your hobbies, that keep you sane during pregnancy?

Here is the project I am working on today, I got these two lime green chairs (you cant see color well in this pic but they are an awful lime green) I don't have money or time to reupholster these myself, so I am painting them with fabric paint. This is the pic after the first coat (the chair in the back is the "before" because I haven't painted it yet), I will probably need 2 more to get rid of all the lime green!Attachment 9725
Sorry for the long post, like I said, I am just happy to have found energy because I have been so down lately with the gloomy weather and morning sickness and exhaustion!!
This morning I fell on the kitchen floor had some really light spotting and got sent to the hospital cause I'm Rh- and I was having lots of cramps... I had an u/s and baby was fine and alive :) and I asked to peek between the legs the legs were close together but there were no obvious boy parts present.... Still not trusting that tho....
Congrats on your boy southern did the tech confirm it was a boy?

Scary, I am so glad you and the baby are ok though! I have fallen down a flight of stairs with every single pregnancy because I have hip problems, I know how scary it can be to think the baby could be hurt! Sorry for the scare!Quote:

Thorz -- I am so impressed with your DIY prowess and ambition. I had no idea that you could paint fabric! I've got 48 hours until my nuchal! The best part of it is that I normally work Thurs/Fri but I've got nearly all of Thursday off which means about three hours all to myself after the scan! (The big girls will be at school and the baby has a nanny on those days).

BTW the names im set on are Lennon and Harper... although i havnt looked at girl names i just like harper but its possible to change if its a girl and i look at more names
I took a look at your blog and I really like what you have done! I am going to attempt to refinish/paint the boys changing table/dresser when the weather gets better. Right now it is light/natural wood color and I would like it to be a dark expresso color. I have no idea where to start so I will be checking out blogs like yours. Glad you are feeling better and have the energy to do some projects!! I had a really rough week last week but I am finally feeling better and I am starting to think about the nursery.
