Hey Jadis!

Most of the time I am tired too. In the evening I just need to lie down, I'm so over the day, and kids.. I want bed.
I'm feeling really heavy, have nerve pain in my butt/back, varicose vein on my upper right thigh and somewhere else.. ahem... I'm generally feeling like this pregnancy should be coming to an end soon, and I'm only 23 wks! I guess that's normal with twins though..
Today I had a burst of energy, got out the hedge trimmers and cut down some shrubs in the garden. It was great! Now I am sitting on my recliner with my iPad, about to have a coffee and some choco biscuits! I reckon I deserve them, lol!

Tonight we are off to the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs game (I'm a huge Pens fan, DH is a die hard Leafs fan so we look forward to this game every year, we're so competitive lol) and I'm worried I won't enjoy it, the car ride is about an hour then the seats are just terrible to sit in for 3 hours!!!! My poor back lol :( not to mention I'll be up way past my usual bedtime (9pm hehe).


Who's up next for gender scans?? I know a couple people mentioned they were coming up this week?

LO123 has her gender scan this coming week, maybe Monday or Tuesday! Fingers crossed for her!

Hi Ladies, yes I am have mine this week. Wednesday at 11.30am. I can't believe it is finally here....2 and a bit days to go....

CVD-Hope you had a great time at the game. I'm a terrible Canadian, I hate hockey. Every time the CBC disrupts my Coronation street to air a game, I curse that sport!

Maple-It's nice to know that I'm not alone. Between the exhaustion and the back aches, I'm barely functioning. I'd love to tackle some projects around my house, but I just can't manage. I'll have to start cracking the whip around here and get DH to tackle them for me.

LO-Good luck for Wednesday, I'll cross my fingers for you and I hope you'll update us as soon as you're able!

LOL I don't know about the glow cvd. I don't feel very glowing. I feel very huge and exhausted. My son was such a ham during the photo shoot. He usually isn't like that concerning pictures but I guess he saw mommy and daddy taking them so he wanted to take them too. He has a sesame street camera and ever since the shoot he has been taking "pictures" of everything, lol. We should have our digital files this week so I will definitely share more when I get them.

Violet - congrats! I was pretty sure she'd stay a girl. :)

Mommyof3boys - You might want to check out a Chicco Trevi. It is a full sized stroller but folds up pretty compactly. It works with the Chicco keyfit infant seat (which is a great seat!). I got the Chicco Cortina last time, but I am thinking of maybe switching to the Trevi. Also, the Joovy Caboose if smaller than the Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand, but I'm not sure how small it folds up. If you can find a retailer near you that carries the stroller, they may let you bring it out to your car to check the fit in the trunk. Oh, and you are not a terrible person for hoping your co-worker has a boy. I think that I a perfectly normal reaction.

Jadis - YES! I have been exhausted. My ob did bloodwork to check for low iron, but it came back normal. They did say I could go on an iron supplement if I wanted, anyway. I can't make it through the day without a rest anymore.

CVD - I am so excited you are a Pens fan! I am also a huge fan!! I live just outside Pittsburgh. I'm so jealous you get to go to a game. I'll be watching on Thursday. :) Go Pens!

Hahaha that's hilarious Jadis! I'm not a big hockey fan, but my in-laws and DH
are Leaf crazy - they have Leafs seasons tickets so we go to a lot of games. I guess I'm a terrible Canadian too because I hate the Leafs!!!!

Ah that's fantastic!!! Do you ever get to a game there? DH promised he'd take me to a game in Pittsburgh one day soon and spend the weekend, it's only a few hours drive for us! How are you feeling these days? Hope all is well!
