Congrats on your healthy baby boy, maybeoneday. I can attest that having 3 of a kind is awesome! You seem like you have a good attitude. :)
Thanks. I took it harder at 16 weeks when I was first told boy as was really expecting to hear girl. I guess I was totally expecting to hear it today ( although secretly hoping I was wrong!) so was not shocked.
I am worried how this one will fit it as DS1 and 2 are the best of friends. I am worried their dynamic will change and they won't be as close but I guess all will become clear in time.
Medically it would have been easier to hear girl as well as DS1 was born with PUV which is a serious renal condition that only affects boys. Because of that, I have to have lots of extra prenatal checks and ultrasound and paeds at birth etc! I guess for my own sanity that would have been one less thing to worry about!
I am really looking forward now and am determined not to be consumed with the thoughts of PGD until he is here and at least 6 months old as brand new babies are so tiny for such a short time.
Thanks to all of you for your unfailing support. Xx
Sorry you didn't hear pink Maybe. I was hoping they were wrong. Hope all is well with your babe.
Hi Ladies, just got back from 19 week scan and it is a GIRL. I can't believe it. I am in total shock and don't really believe it yet. I was so sure it was going to be a boy.... The lady who did u/s said the baby had their legs closed a lot of the time but she was 90% sure it was a girl. No obvious boy bits and she showed me a potty shot which did look girl to me. I was going to try and have a sleep this afternoon but I think I am just too excited...
Maybe congratulation on your DS3, sorry you didn't hear pink, and for the extra worry that will cause you. Fingers crossed your DS3 will be healthy.
LO123 congratulations on getting your little girl. I agree totally with maple, a little pink shopping is in order.
