Hey Amari, things are good here, nothing new to report besides us ladies waiting for O to come! AF is supposed to show up today, and I really want her to show up now so we can get the show on the road...
Don't think we've had any new BFPs or anything...just playing the waiting game!
Hi Pink Swayers,...looks like we are all feeling the same way.
It is hard not to be obsessed with all this information and it is so easy to come down on ourselves for wanting something that seems so impossible.
My problem is I have no gut feeling....or any idea of what approach or plan feels right to me.
I truly want to get pregnant, I cannot take this anymore!
So, I know one attempt is probably not a good idea given my age. I feel uncomfortable too close to ovulation unless there is a lot in there to give the girls the extra shot at beating the boys.
But I have a hard time understanding that frequent bding sways boys due to ph levels and then I read frequent bding sways girls bc it lowers sperm count.
Everything contradicts!
Many are doing frequent release but why do you have to start so soon....Dh cannot possibly release every day for 10 days! Last month we tried compressed release but we did not get pregnant...although I think it was due to other factors since as depth of penetration and reprhesh.
No one talks about depth of penetration? Maybe we need to get it in there?

So, I am cd 8 and will most likely ovulate on cd 14 give or take a day....what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OOTB,do you usually o late? You still have a great chance! Maybe add o plus 12 as you are waiting....or keep going!

I think the rephresh on the day of attempt is not helpful to get pregnant, but maybe a few days before?
I think I will try that...just not sure how much rephresh.
I HATE THE DIET...and I am not really doing it much anymore. I do not eat a lot so maybe that will help.
I don't weight a lot so I am hoping that helps...and it is ALL fat! hahahha, no muscle on me! ugh!
Maybe we need to compare attempts for this month to help each other out?

I don't know what you mean about having a lot in there to give the girls an extra shot - it seems likely that girls have a better chance when there is less sperm overall and that the boys prefer to have lots of other sperm to help penetrate the egg. DTD near/at ovulation will help you to get pregnant but lowering sperm count overall will sway pink.Quote:

You have you release for at least 7-10 days to ensure you're lowering sperm count enough - by not giving your DH's sperm enough time to replenish. The compressed FR you did last time should have a similar effect.
Shallow release is just one of those things you either do or don't do, your choice. We didn't because I think it's difficult for DH but I did a Jump and Dump straight away which has the same end result (less sperm/semen). If you're using Rephresh and doing FR and/or not having many attempts you might want to forget about shallow release.

Now that I am 4-7 days away from o I have no chance to fr and I think DH does not like it anyway.
What do I do now?
I understand the sperm helping the others up there...what if I dtd a few times but stopped 2 days shy of o?
For instance, cd 10, 11 and 12 with release maybe on the morning of 11 as well to lower it...? Maybe even the morning of cd 12? Or maybe dtd earlier on cd 12. I think will o on cd 14.
Does any of this make sense?
I don't think I could do what you did or as well!
I also have not stuck to the diet that well and only take vitex for about a week and a half.
I have not started rephresh yet.
OOTB, just wondering why you choose frequent bd for so long?

I read that some of you ladies got a baby girl spell. Can i ask what this involves, how much it is and how it works?

she casts the spell and sends you the ring which you can wear (either all the time or infrequently, provided you wear or hold it now and again), there is a spell which you say and you do that 3 days in a row over your fertile time for 3 cycles in a row
if it doesn't work, you get your money back or a re-cast.... so seems like less risk to me!
All, thank you so much for your O vibes. I think they worked b/c I got a +OPK yesterday afternoon. I promptly shot a bunch of RepHresh up there again :) and then we BD at 8:45 pm. I got a temp spike this a.m. and I’m hoping it was an actual post-O spike but I’m not sure. When I conceived in July, I got 3 +OPKs in a row. When I had my first post-m/c O, I think I got 2. This one is out of the blue (seems to be my theme w/everything :p ). I plan to take another OPK at my regular time today but I'm thinking it'll be neg. I’ve stopped Vitex and the Peppermint Tea for now. You all are welcome to look at my chart (in my siggie below) and let me know if you think I actually O'ed.

Lemon, I’ve chosen to do frequent BD starting so soon b/c I really, really just want to be preg again. I wasn’t exactly sure what my cycle would be post-m/c I figured if DH is going to release, it may as well be in me :) Although we’ve been BD like rabbits, I’ve been using about ½ an app of RepHresh every day. I know it’s probably overkill but I thought that w/the amount of BD we’ve been doing, I wanted to make sure I was still swaying pink. We also used some Sylk. I tried to get DH to do it shallow and he did most of the time :oops: but I also waited at least 10 min each time before I dumped. I have no clue what will happen but if I don’t get a BFP this time, RepHresh will be the 1st thing I scale back on for sure!

Rainbow, hoping that preg spell works and you get a speedy BFP...it sure can't hurt!
Mocha, YAY...AF is ending for you and you're on your way to O time...! Is your appt. tomorrow? Honestly, I think they'll tell you you're all clear. I really do!

AF came yesterday, as expected, but later in the evening! :cool:
I was very excited to see her show up, since I want to get moving back to TTC! LOL<I never thought I'd be happy to see AF, but i was getting very ticked yesterday evening cuz I just knew i wasn't pregnant and i didn't want her to show up late and delay my Christmas ovulation....
Lemon, last month my attempt included a full applicator of rephresh 2 days before a one time BD. I got BFNs at 10, 12, and 14 dpo and my period came as expected.
Am considering dropping the rephresh and just doing a one time attempt after I get a + OPK, so prob an attempt on Christmas Eve.

My thoughts on pros and cons:
Pros:
If i drop Rephresh, I am sure my chances of concieving will go way up and I am 90% sure I will concieve without rephresh.
Cons:
MY PH even with diet and supps (baby aspirin) usually lingers around 5's to mid 5's. Not sure I totally buy into ph theory, but I had some sense of calm about rephresh keeping everything nice and toasty at 4.5, though it irririated the heck out of me :( Thinking if I do rephresh, my chances of concieving may go down to 20%, or so.
So then I have to weigh and figure out how much do I just want to get pregnant now versus doing a stricter girl sway?
The other thing that's been on my mind lately is that I just really *feel* I will have a girl. I've had numerous dreams of her, of being told "girl" at ultrasound, then I got that reading from Itabu on IG who said she definitely felt girl for me. She also told me about issues DH and I have with money, and I never even mentioned that to her...she picked up on his indifference/reluctance to TTC too, and again I never mentioned those things, because I didn't even "see" his relcutance or have put it into words or thoughts until I read what she said! I'm only afriad feeling this way will relax me too much and weaken my sway.
But I just *knew* before I had DS2 he was going to be a boy. I mean, the night before the ultrasound, I felt it so deeply in my bones there was no doubt I was going to hear boy the next day and I did. I was 6 weeks pregnant with DS2 when I wrote in my journal "I just know this is going to be a boy" even though my DH was so sure it was going to be a girl, I kept telling him "boy"
