I did an opk last night and this morning. Looks like it peaked late last night. The sample i used wasn't the greatest last night though but this mornings is lighter. I have a very quick LH surge. O pains have reduced to barely nothing too. I'll have to pay more attention to my body next time, those O pains were a dead giveaway. Now on to the tww 😅

I'm for sure going to buy the clear blue digital next time... I'm tired of guessing, but will I get more than one positive day with that too?? We BD on Wednesday so I guess we will try again Sunday. I'm so tired of swaying. I want a friggin STEAK!

Lauren if you get the dual hormone ones you'll start with a clear circle which is low fertile, a flashing smiley for however many days to indicate high fertility (mine has ranged from one to six days of flashing) then a solid smiley which is peak and you cant test again for two days then but you wont need to as I've always gotten a solid smiley mostly day b4 o and day of o this cycle. hth :)
It wouldn't hurt. I do.... usually. I'm backing away from testing on weekends and during the week I have to get up anyway. Normally though I set an alarm, take my temp and roll over and go back to sleep. Up to you though.

Might be a good option. My temps can have BIG diffrrence from say 4am to 6am its always higher towards 6am so I try to take between 5.45 and 6.15 but then again for other people it doesnt seem to make much of a difference. Unfortunately I've had to take last two mornings temps an hour earlier so I'm stuck with clear circles to lol
I would test between 6 and 6.30 by setting your alarm. There may be plenty days you wont be able to sleep till 7.30 so earlier is likely better
The time isn't as important as trying to get close to the same time (if your temps are highly affected by time... not everyone is equally affected.

For some crazy reason every time I try to track my cycle O gets delayed. I have several days of mixed opks like one day it's positive and the next it's lighter then the next it's positive again and eventually sometimes like a week or so after the initial positive I get my final positive opk. My body gears up to O several times and I am convinced it's because I am WAITING super impatiently for my body to just let go! I get way too caught up in opks,my DH says they turn me into a military sergeant or something. Super sexy ;)

I haven't been on here since I got my positive opk. I have been trying not to stress, and by doing so this 2ww has flown by. I'm 9dpo already and took my first hpt... I'm not going to look at it though until 15 dpo...I just took it as a way for me to obsess about gender since earlier +s seem to mean girl many times. I'll take another at 11 dpo and 13 dpo (to see if they are getting darker when I finally look at them lol) and the one I take on 15 dpo I'll actually look at lol. If it's negative I'll throw the others away because I really do not want to know if I have a CP again. The only thing that sucks this time is I have nearly no symptoms! Maybe it's because I'm not obsessing over them, but I am thinking it's because nothing is going on. Last month I KNEW I was pregnant and only took a test to confirm. This time I am expecting my normal spotting come Monday. It's weird, but I'm slowly getting to a point where I want to give up. This month marks a year of TTC. I'm sick of it :( Next month I'm not going to do opks or bbt and we'll just keep doing E4D. I'll stick to diet though...I am so used to it I don't really have to think about it much anymore. I'm just done with the "trying" part..
Just wondering is anyone taking anti histamine as part of their sway? Was going to add it in if we get to attempt on Sunday but not too sure on how it works. Am kinda starting to worry my sway isn't strong enough...what do you ladies think:
Diet since May 1st, had two cheat weeks from Aug 23-Sept 8while on vacation but otherwise been relatively strict.
Exercise since mid July but stopped just prior to going on holidays. Sweated buckets and walked all day every day while in Florida so think it was kinda cardio. Haven't continued since getting home, jetlag has me wiped!
Fiber and Folic daily for me, DH on Cranberry though not religiously.
Lost 8lbs since May 1st and 10lbs in the year prior to that since having DS2.
Doing E4D.
Was on NSAID (Zoloft) up til mid August, pretty sure it's no longer in my system though.
If unsuccessful this month am hoping to get rx for Clomid from GP but not holding my breath as he doesn't seem comfortable with prescribing it.
I am so broody now I am thinking a third boy isn't the end of the world but dunno how I would feel in reality if that came to pass. Anyone else have these doubts or am I the only basketcase?!
Hopper- Yep I have doubted my sway each and every month! Then the next month I'd make it stricter...which is why I think I've been TTC for so long. An antihistamine is something easy to add so I'd do it if you feel like it'd make your sway stronger. To me it sounds like your sway is quite strong already. :)
Fingers and toes and eyes crossed this is the month! That's a good way to ease the POAS addiction I surely suffer when ttc! It can get so overwhelming doing those hpts and getting nowhere but the need to POAS is terrible. Nice way to appease the need! Hopefully this is your last month having to think like that. I really have a good feeling about this thread girls!!
Kitty that really sucks you've been ttc for a year :( I'm sorry I don't know your background so I'm not sure if you've seen a fertility spec or are going to? I hope you get your bfp this cycle even though you're not hopeful.
Hopper your sway sounds pretty solid. I believe the antihistamines are suppose to dry up cm therefore creating a more hostile environment. I've seen heaps of sways that include them. Was in my custom plan but my cm had dried up so much just being on diet Atomic said not to worry about taking. My sway is just diet (been 25 or so weeks now) and hubby taking ole. I stopped taking fibre as I ran out at the beginning of this 2ww. I had a 12 day cheat during last cycles 2ww and again this time I've been eating whatever but still skipping brekky and trying not to go overboard everyday.
Thanks for the sage advice hun! I think you are right, I promised myself I wouldn't get all caught up in ttc and here I am haven't even reached O in our first attempt and I am questioning everything. Nutjob, I'm a right nutjob!! I swore I would do diet + exercise + one attempt and not worry about the rest. Diet is second nature at this stage, though protein has been high lately but I'm more firmly fixed on watching calories while easing myself out of my 2 week cheat. Exercise needs to get going again so I promise myself the laziness will stop tomorrow and I will start back at it again! And the one attempt - well right now it's looking like no attempt but hoping to remedy that ;)
Wow pbn, 25 weeks! You must be a pro at this stage!! Although I just counted up there now and I'm 19 weeks on LE now!!!! When did that happen?!! Crazy! I ran out of Fiber too while we were on vacation but back on it since coming home. Are you doing cardio or couch potato? I was so boy friendly on both my boys, moderate all the way lol. My CM is definitely less than it was but still there, I might take the anti histamine to help dry it up a little more.. I think I have Zyrtek downstairs for my allergies so that should do it. I used to have heaps of CM, like having to wear a panty liner cause I had so much but now there's just a little so diet definitely doing something! I only noticed while on vacation how drastically different my diet is now compared to ttc our boys. I seriously must have been eating 4000 calories a day and off the scales on fat and protein! Even a cheat day for me now is a million miles better than what I used to eat!
And on an even better note I didn't gain a single oz on vacation, even with all the cheats!! :) DH lost 6lbs - is that bad for our sway? It was entirely accidental!
Pbn, I went in a few months back and got some blood work done and found I was extremely deficient in a ton of vitamins and minerals. My doc. told me I had to get some of my levels up before he'd consider giving me Clomid because with my levels where they were at I'd probably miscarry anyway. That's probably why I had a CP last month as well. I had a recent check up and my levels are getting better but are still on the edge of being deficient so I need to give it a few more months before I'd be considered for clomid. Just the fact I conceived last cycle makes me feel like my body is at least ready to conceive now.
I think dh should try and maintain his weight but I'm sure its only a small factor especially with everything else your doing!! I can't believe how much weight I've lost! I'm lighter than when I conceived ds1lol! Feel great in that way. I had lost pretty much all I was comfortable losing and my dh and family/friends started saying I was getting too thin but after my cheat last 2ww I'd gained1.5kg!! Was great in a way because I lost it again in lead up to this 2ww so technically I was losing weight during our attempt lol. Like you I can't believe how much I used to eat! And I would eat meat at both lunch and dinner, even the odd brekky. Really missed it at first then felt great not eating it but in saying that I've eaten a fair bit of meat again over last week or so.
Kitty that's some comfort that you at least know why and your levels are improving. I'm sorry to see you had a cp last cycle and tbh I think thats where I'm heading this cycle :(
I'm sorry Pbn. Every pregnancy is different so you never know. Sometimes that HCG just takes a bit to finally get jump started. With my first baby my tests were nearly negative until I was 17 dpo. But I also had vanishing positives after that with him too so his pregnancy was just weird for me.
Thanks Kitty I think its easier to feel dissapointed now than when/if af arrives so while I am very much still hopeful deep down I also want to be prepared mentally for worse case scenario iykwim. Anyway I have 2 frers and one cb digi left which covers me test wise for my usual lt phase :) so I'll just keep on testing lol

Agree cd29 looking like o day mammacass especially if temp above coverline tomorrow. Do you input any other info? cm? opks? sorry I cant remember if you were using opks or not or doing e4d?
in saying that I would've also considered cd27? Was there anything out of the norm when you had that big dip cd29? Did you have any o symptoms around either day?
