Oh Jen so close!!!! Can't believe it! I'm jealous. I do like keeping them in and all, but I'm definitely feeling VERY pregnant these days. If this girl comes early I likely won't complain :) She's giving me mega heartburn lately.
Yahmama I remember feeling guilt sulking about because I was so worried about whether this was a boy or girl ... it's hard to be fully present with your kids when you're TTC or pregnant I think. Maybe try to set a goal for yourself of doing one project with them a day. Then let it be a free for all the rest of the time :)

Good idea....I forgot how I'll prob also get that obsessive when/if we do get a sticky BFP of trying to figure out the gender. I really don't want to be wasting my time away with my kids like this. One of the main reasons I really want a ds is because I feel so sad that my ds is already 5 and he was such a sweet baby. I need to enjoy him and my two sweet dds now instead of pining away for a brother for him. Yes, he'll be around 6 if another baby come and maybe that will be a large gap if it's a boy to have a close brotherly relationship, which is what I've been wanting for him since he was a baby. I just need to accept that boat has sailed and he loves his sweet sisters and always has close friends. It just hard not to want that for him.Quote:

Hobber, my folks definitely would rather my brother go get a life, but as much as he is a sweet and kind and cool guy, he also had zero motivation and self-confidence, so he just seems to fail at everything he tries, which is usually not much. My whole family is always so baffled at what his problem is.....we all went to private schools and universities, and my sister and I managed to do well job-wise. His problem is that my parents never pushed him much, they just had this "he's a smart boy and will figure it out" attitude, and from the get-go, when he started screwing up, they coddled him and didn't do anything about it, so they kinda made their bed to lie in. I called him and offered him a free room at our house and a job at our theater (which is fun work), just to get away from Texas and all for a bit, and he was like, "Eh, I'll let you know" and hasn't mentioned it since. My parents and sister could not believe I offered him that. He worked at my sister's record store for a while and she had to fire him!!!! This is also the same guy who calls me on Christmas Eve at 7pm asking what to get for my girls (his only nieces).....and I just tell him he's a giant dipshit and switch the tags on one of our presents with his name. LOL.... DO NOT HAVE A SON LIKE THIS!!!! :thumbsdown: Did I mention that he has never had a girlfriend??? And is 32!
As for me, yep, just done with AF so gearing up yet again. Making a uro appt for DH today. We are just going to dtd every other day this month, starting yesterday (CD6) so we are giving that a shot. I have no more tricks up my sleeve. I am really really hoping that he has a fixable ball thing going on so there is a pretty definite quick fix. I am having one of those months where I am thinking of giving up though.

I had my scan and all is good. The ultrasound tech wasn't so great. She was fast plus she doesn't know anything about the nub theory. I got DVD and some pics, I don't think there are any gender clues in the pics, but maybe a 'little' in the video, Really not sure. I might just post the pics for skull guessing. I don't know what to think a boy or girl ..but I'm leaning more toward a girl AND already very disappointed.
I'm measuring 13w6d one day ahead my ovulation day. Yeah that's good to know.
MFC - Yippee, glad everything looked good at your scan :) Do you get the feeling you are being stalked ? hehe. We want video, We want video, We want video? ;)
Don't get disappointed yet!! If there were no gender clues, then don't worry yet! (easier said than done, I know!)

Hobber~ I saw the girl nub right at the beginning of the video, but I'm not sure I want some one to help me :( and on the other hand I hate to hear it's a girl nub. OMG I feel so bad right now :(
Oh i hadn't thought of that, maybe someone with technical skills will be able to help you. The only way i can think of is to record it with your phone, while it is playing on your computer without getting your details in the shot.Quote:

Yahmama, I feel like that too. All I ever think about is TTC and what cycle day I am. I try to remind myself of something Lola said a while ago... to TTC on the side and live life rather than basing things in life around TTC as a first priority. Well, she worded it WAY better than I did, but you get what I mean ;)
MFC, glad the scan went well! I would take some pics of the video. Just pause when you see a nub shot. I went back and looked at the vidoes from my girls and took perfect nub shots. Can't wait to see the pics :)
Well, I didn't get to have my scan as the nurse who usually does them was sick. So, I am having it tomorrow now. Feeling like I should O in a few days as I am having heaps of cramps and backaches and watery CM.

I really think the skull looks VERY much like a boy! Girls are supposed to have more of a sloped forehead, whereas the boys have more of a definite brow line and forward forehead rather than sloped back. I think this looks very promising as a boy!!!Quote:

5, yep we are DTD every second day starting yesterday. Once I get a positive OPK we might try and get in 3 attempts but it all depends on when we DTD last.
