Keeping my fingers crossed for you, Emily. Like you googled for me, spotting can be normal! Is it constant or intermittent? One of my friends had continuous bleeding for the entire first 16 weeks of pregnancy and her son turned out perfect, so it can still be okay. I sure do hope you don't have another chemical, but if you do, we'll be here to commiserate. They are so, so common and I'm actually kind of surprised I haven't had one yet. I know it makes no rational sense, but it almost feels like it's my "turn," that it is just too good to be true to have two perfect pregnancies in a row. Maybe I'll believe it more on Monday if my hcg levels have actually doubled, but right now I feel just as insecure as you do, Emily. It didn't help that one of my friends who has done IVF told me that 11 mIU/ml hcg is really, really low for 3 days post implantation. But I'm wondering if maybe the days are counted differently for high-tech implantations?
I poas again this morning to see if it was still getting darker... And it wasn't! If anything it was a little lighter than yesterday morning. Could be explained by maybe being more hydrated today than yesterday, so I'm trying not to worry. My spotting is mostly gone but it still occasionally feels tight in my lower abdomen, like mini Braxton-Hicks. Monday's results couldn't come soon enough.
That's too bad the OBs where you live aren't very sensitive to pg ladies' fears. You'd think that should come with the job description. Could you find a woman doctor or a midwife next time you switch doctors (you said you were moving, right)? IME they are often more compassionate.
