Maiden- oh no! I'm so sorry [emoji20]! I'm hoping and praying it won't turn into a full on AF. I wonder if your fever had something to do with it. It just doesn't seem fair!
I have no idea why I didn't get positive opks. The only thing I can think of is my urine looked lighter than usual, but not too dilute. I also could have missed my surge since I only used FMU. I typically don't get a positive later in the day, but who knows!

I've had multiple 6 day LPs over the years (though not under 8 days since 2011). My LP is also super sensitive to meds/supps. I went through a period of time on various things (spironolactone, then accutane, then antibiotics the last time I was sick with strep throat and it went untreated for weeks, even infecting my heart causing a heart murmur so I was on ABX for over a month) anyway during this 1.5 year period my LPs were 2-6 days long! This was back in 2008. So unfortunately, it could totally be AF. The cramps/spotting SEEM to be easing up but we'll see.
But if it's not AF, what is it? Too early for IB not that I think I'd ever have that anyway. I feel very confident that I did O on CD18, or maaaybe early CD19. DF has been the mega asshat from hell since last night (he is one of those people who can't discuss, only argue, and rapidly escalates to raised voice/shouting...at least when interacting with me) so no way can I BD anyway, I would strsngle him 'accidentally'. Also, I have never had midcycle spotting. Not even a tiny dot in 14 years of charting & 20.5 years of cycles. I HAVE had spotting start around 4 days before AF on occasion but I don't think it's ever been this heavy. My pre AF spotting is usually very light.
It's always possible I released 2 eggs...maybe one didn't take/overcooked, maybe one that released a few days before my CD18 egg (that happens sometimes, and usually my temp doesn't rise until I've released the 2nd egg)? That would be the best case scenario I guess.
Or maybe my body/God really hates DF and doesn't want me to have his babies. Maybe I should just rent a hotel room for a few weeks in Cologne (biggest city an hour away) and troll for men as much as possible.
But at least I'm WARM! :)

I spoke too soon regarding my cramps, seems they are getting stronger now. I should also mention I have had particularly strong/painful/frequent pain low on my right side, I assumed they were my normal 'ovary twinges' from corpus luteum activity or maybe even a cyst, asi get those twinges most months. But maybe it's an ectopic again thus the early bleeding? But even an EP wouldn't implant at 5DPO....and I didn't have bleeding with my prior EP, or ovary twinges.
I just want to know WHY. :(
Oh maiden, what a cluster! So sorry you are dealing with all of this at the same time..kinda agreeing about maybe you need to meet someone else.
How was the doctor telling me that I missed my window for a girl when I still don't have a positive OPK!? Guess I'll take another tomorrow and if it is positive, we'll BD on Thursday. If it's not, we'll wait till Friday I guess.

Maiden, I'm really sorry you are going through this.
Let's hope that maybe it is just "unused egg" like you are saying.
It can't just be an unused egg, those don't bleed. :(

I'm learning a huge amount from you while you think things through. I didn't know about short LP's. Wow. I think that could be what happened to me last cycle. I had a miscarriage and - long story short - 2 erpc's and a hysteroscopy later, I was scanned and told I would probably ovulate in about 5 days. I got a +opk 3 days later, DTD at lot (we're swaying blue) and then had spotting 10DPO.
But BFN.
What's that all about? I too have a mystery on my hands. No AF either. I'm going to the dr tomorrow so hopefully thy'll have some idea. Maybe it was what you're talking about - a super short LP with a very very light aF. Bit of a cruel joke that it arrived right when you'd expect IB, which I did get last time.
Well, red flow has started so just a very short LP. Unfortunately, now I don't even have a chance of getting clomid/femara for this cycle bc AF arrived so early and my appt is a whole week away. I will try to call them in the morning though just in case they will consider trying to see me sooner. Bc missing that opportunity when this new cycle, #9 TTC, willl be my last cycle trying for a while, would really be the crappy icing on the craptastic cake that this cycle has been. And I was SO secretly hopeful bc I'm pretty sure I Oed from the left (though possibly from the right as well), and I haven't had that happen since TTCing, and I Oed from the left last time I conceived.
tm29, maybe I'm too tired/sick, but I don't quite understand your situation. Do you have charts I could look at it? I'm much better with those. I hope I can help solve your mystery.
