I have been spotting on and off since last week. Varied from dark brown, reddish brown, to pink and very red. I went to my ob /gyn appointment today and he did a vaginal ultrasound due to my red spotting and bleeding and we saw a heart beat. They did not see sch but he did say it is a threatened miscarriage. Don't give up hope. Blood is scary to see when your pregnant but it doesn't mean your little bean isn't cooking. I wish you the best and my prayers are with you are that your little bean sticks on hard. Xoxo
I started spotting at 6 weeks 2

I really hope it's nothing has2 and that bean is just snuggling in tight! Could you call your docs and maybe request hcg test with the bleeding to know for sure?
I have an appointment Tuesday anyway, so I will call Monday and see what they want me to do. Our insurance is kind of awful though, so I don't particularly want to make an extra appointment. Not to mention my doctor is an hour and 20 minutes drive on a good day :(

Exactly!! I can't believe she is so ignorant boyzmommy!! My boys are the best of friends too. I actually wanted another boy and I remember saying "I don't know what to do if they say "it's a girl" when I was preggo with DS 2. This pregnancy is the first time ever that I actually have a true desired gender but never in a million years would I count myself "the most unlucky girl in the world" if I have another boy on board.
I am so sorry you are going through this :(. I don't think you should count yourself out though without an ultrasound to see whats going on. A friend of mine had a MAJOR bleed at 6 weeks and still had a healthy baby on board and delivered at term. I also had spotting with my first pregnancy at 6 weeks and 9 weeks and all was fine. I hope this is the case for you. :hugs:
@has2gentlemen: I hope everything is ok. Are you still bleeding? I hope this little bean isn't planning on giving up :cheerteam:
Thanks ladies.
Yes, still bleeding. Much heavier now, with slight cramping. My midwife from DS1 said it sounds like a chemical and to wait for the bleeding to stop, then do another test. If it's negative, that was the case.
