Well I had my 18 week sono and they said girl but I am in denial!! SO Tania, cheri and brooke were all right for timing and gender. And stormy, Cara, 1c111, Sandra, were right on gender and off on timing. And Gail and the E-bay lady were wrong for all!!
I've just remembered this thread and went back to have a look at the dates. I got a BFP recently (but miscarried at 4.5 weeks). On working out my due date, the date given was 01/05/2013 to the day as my date of conception. Spooky! Thankful she didn't go into anything more specific, that could've been painful...Quote:

Thanks, Nachelle. I'm actually not as bad as I thought I'd be. Maybe because it was still very early so can tell myslef it was just a late, heavy AF - if I had made it to scan, that may have been different. Just going to be stubborn and get right back on it. Will be our first child so if it turns out a boy, it'd be just as loved. Just got back from holiday though and although I really tried, my diet was not good so will likely end up being a boy at this rate!
I contacted cheri to give her update on baby gender ultrasound showed baby boy #7 , Cheri told me she still see a girl in my arms :think:

I really liked Cara, I know she has gotten some wrong but with all the readings I had she was so right on it was ridiculous. She predicted I would have a boy with light hair and dark eyes, which he does, she also predicted the 18th as his bday and it is! so freakyQuote:

Last time I was pregnant cara gave me a reading which said I was carrying a boy but she saw a girl in my future. Hope this is true. I have seen her be wrong so many times though!

This is why I stopped getting readings. Although a lot of people have some correct readings is it just luck or do these psychics really have a gift? Her telling you she sees a girl in your future is possibly giving you false hope (although we all want you to have a girl if you continue ttc). I posted on this subject not to long ago, and I still feel the same (it's for fun and that only). I ended up with extreme GD with my dd2 partly because all the psychics that I got a reading from told me that dd2 was going to be a boy, so I expected to hear boy, but nope I had dd2. So I know some of you have said that you feel these readings are 50/50, but how much stock do you really put into the things that they say? I had a very positive reading from another person I found on Etsy, (havent heard back from yours yet sushi) but she did say she felt this baby is a boy. She said she felt that because of the masculinity of the cards outweighed the femininity. I dont how to feel about that? Can anyone offer any encouragement or words of support? For me she was right. I grew up in a very superstitious oriental family. I am half awake so forgive me if my memory isn't accurate. But I got 5 readings (Cheri, eternity, ruby, healing messages from spirit, etc) that my 4th and 5th child was a girl. The girl on etsy was the ONLY one that said a boy. I kinda brushed off the girl on Etsy, because I was SO excited for a daughter. The woman on Esty picked up a lot of legal issues were about to come up and traveling right after the baby was born. After my son was born, we had orders to move from Florida to California. So I had to go to court , $3000 later, to ask permission from the judge if my two oldest could come with us (my two children from a previous relationship). My husband is a skeptic and think readings can be interpenetrated as anything like a fortune cookie. But it's fun to get readings, and give you a shimmer of hope. :) Plus the girl on Etsy has high ratings on Etsy.

This was a different girl from etsy. The lady you referred me to, I have yet to hear back from! This other girl did get some things wrong so that kinda makes me more hopeful she was wrong on gender. She said she felt we had trouble conceiving and had to use fertility drugs to get pregnant. Neither of those things is true. We have always been pretty fertile and got pregnant this round on the second month trying. Other than that she just listed personality traits of me, DH, and baby. And a lot if the personality traits about baby sound an awful lot like my 1 year old son so maybe she picked up a past pregnancy? Either way, it was fun!!
Oxox, I know it's hard not to take these predictions on board, but according to a reading I had done in person last June, I should be giving birth to a baby boy this month.
