So I've been referred to see a really good doctor who is familiar with everything in my history, which is great. I'm a little nervous though because my last labour was <2 hours, and the hospital the new doctor delivers out of is an hour away.
Jconger - looks amazing. Do tell more :)
Fox - glad you are seeing a good Dr, but I can understand your concerns about being so far from the hospital.
five - I have had that type of pain before and it was caused by sciatica I think and my chiropractor helped tons.
All you ladies look wonderful. Here I am at 22 weeks. I feel HUGE! and the pic is huge too for some reason. :(

Yeah it was so so so incredible!! As many of you know, I am a healthy and wellness coach with AdvoCare. They asked me to share my story at our national convention last weekend. I got to stand on stage and share and cry in front of 20000 people at the Dallas Cowboy's stadium. I am not a public speaker by any means. In fact, I'm terrified of talking in front of people and being the center of attention, but it was so so awesome! Hearing that my story touched or encouraged so many was awesome. And lots of compliments on the baby bump. I am feeling good about girl number 3.

I totally second this!!!! I was diagnosed with ICP last week eventhough I didn't have it with past pregnancies. The doc was shocked since I was the one insisting on a blood test eventhough he thought I am just having normal pregnancy itchiness. ICP could be very serious and requires treatment right away. I am so glad I got it checked out right away eventhough I read it is a rare disease

Thank you ford for sharing. I did get the blood work to test. And I believe I am headed in that direction. Now the itching has moved to my feet and other unpleasant locations. I will probably be tested again when I have my next appointment on the 31st to see what the levels are doing. I have not heard results back yet because they take at least a week for my midwives to get the results. It is a bit terrifying to think about all that can go wrong because of it. Praying all is well for you ford!
Oh Ford, I am so sorry. Are you taking Urso? Is it helping at all? I found it brought down my bile acid levels but didn't help the itching. It really was one of the worst things I've ever experienced, so I hope the itching isn't too bad for you. Do you know what the plan is with regards to induction yet? My bile acid levels spiked dramatically right around my induction date (and the placenta was a mess and my son wasn't in great shape at first), which totally convinced me that it's important. I didn't have it with DS2, but I'm still on high alert for it this time.
Shann, isn't the delay for bloodwork the worst?
fox - Yes, I just wan to know what is happening. So sorry to hear that you went through this too and that it could have ended badly. When did your itching start? The Midwife thought it was weird because I am too early for it apparently. Hmmm.
It started at 27 weeks. I've heard of women diagnosed as early as 8 weeks though, it seems like the old belief that it only happens in the third tri doesn't hold up.
