That is so exciting! How many dpo are you? This is super early, no? What test are you using?
I took a test this am, bfn. Not sure I expected anything different -- I have never ever gotten an early bfp. And this brown spotting is still there. In a few hours it will be 3 days. I looked it up, I canlled my ob -- they think it is pregnancy but it is too soon to know for sure. She says it can last for 3 days sometimes longer. As long as it is not heavy or I need to wear a pad/tampon, that would mean af. Totally not, still just a liner I don't even have to change if I don't want to. Only brownish when I wipe. WTF! I feel like since this has been going on for nearly 3 days I should have my bfp by now. Tho everything says it can take up to 4-5 days after implantation to show up on a hpt.
I kinda wanna drive to my ob's office and take a blood test just to know. You think it would show on a blood test?
Prayforprincess~How many dppo are you? If its not too early, and you go you could actually have them fax you a script for blood work, so you can go straight to a lab (since docs have to send it out anyway), have them right STAT on it and you'll know by this afternoon. Just don't know how many dpo you are if it would show. Call your doc they may not even want too, and will for sure know if it will show.
hey peeps thanks very much, well it wont show on my camera arghhhhh, but i still think its there, im hoping its not an evap line, i also took a clearblue digital and it was "not pregnant" so now im second guessing the test, it was a clearblue plus pregnancy test, its supposed to be an early test too, im 8 dpo today, i guess il wait till tomorrow to be sure,

Im 7dpo today and poas this morning and got a BFN, even though i know it wont show anything this early anyways but i get the urge i have to do it! Argh...my will power i 0 when it comes to poas!!! I have a little lower back pain today but not reading too much into it after last month.
I have been running round town like a crazy women this morning trying to find an outfit for my DS1 to dress up for world book day on Thursday at school, what a pain. I thought pinocchio wont be hard to find red shorts, yellow t shirt and make blue bow tie, how wrong was i?? No red shorts/yellow t shirt anywhere, looked in loads of shops boy and girl parts but nothing, so ended up getting him a peter pan/robin hood outfit...he can pick which one he wants to be....lol!
Littlemiss- Hopefully we will both see a clear bfp tomorrow morning!

have felt a bit sick today, cant be surely pregnancy symptoms if indeed i am pregnant, must be from the clomid,
CD8 and 4th day of Clomid and I feel like I have a Clomid hangover. I honestly feel like I am in a fog today. One more pill and maybe just maybe no more of this roller-coaster drug.

Do you think I should just take vitex in hopes it starts it up? Is that dumb? I'm thinking of taking vitex AF to O from now until our May attempt in hopes it sort of doesn't cause the mess that happened. I don't know if vitex 5 weeks straight or dropping weight caused this super long cycle or not, but I'm so done right now. I want my period so I can start taking bbt and planning for may! Grrrrrrrr!!!! :(

WTF! This spotting will not end. Thought it was ending last night. There was only the tiniest bit of brown when I wiped. Now this morning - red spotting. Still only need a panty line -- no pad or tampon. Its was there when I wiped and a little in the toilet. 1-2 hours later went to the bathroom and nothing on the liner, nothing in the toilet and just a tiny bit of red on the tp.
What is going on??? The doctor says everything points to implantation. The timing, the intensity (its not heavy or increasing like an af would). My temp is still up in the 98's. I am only 10/11dpo. But no bfp yet. I was thinking to stop drinking tonight at 5pm so that my pee is more concentrated in the morning when I take the hpt. Yesterday I was soooo thirsty I drank nearly 4 liters of water. This morning when I took the test my pee was very very light -- so it could have been diluted.
I don't know -- I just want to know WTF is going on it there. This has never happened before -- never have I had implantation bleeding and never have I spotted for 3 days 1 week before my af was due.
Doctor says that if I don't get a +hpt or my af by Monday I should come in.
Come on bfp....if I could just see you that would explain soooo much! Why can't anything be easy or go right?? I swear, I can never just catch a break!
Prayforprincess- I have high hopes for you. I bet tomorrow am you will have your bfp. I've looked this up bc yesterday I could not stop drinking water. I'd get out of bed, go downstairs to get a glass of water and be half way up the stairs and the glass was done. I did this several times and looked up that as early as 2 dpo thirst can b an early preg sign. Hang in there.

Just came home from dropping my son at pre-school and now the spotting is gone again. Its here, then gone. Its brown, then red, then brown. I hope it stays gone now and I get my bfp in the morning.
I am sooo hungry. I wanna eat so bad. I had 2 or 3 cheat meals this weekend but I am trying to still be on the diet 80% til I find out if I am pregger's or not. And I was starving this morning so I made some egg whites at 10am. Then I couldn't control myself and ate a rice krispy treat at noon. I am starving again but am refusing to let myself eat til 5pm. I wish I was not sooo hungry.
Prayforprincess~ Stay away spotting. Enough, we know you are implanting but your scaring momma!!! What you ate is not bad at all for this far along in the 2 WW- the egg whites will not raise your glucose, and the krispie treat was at noon. I'm hungry too and my 2 WW just started. Dh wants to go to dinner Friday night 7dpo, when it gets closer I'll decide. I was thinking I'd still stay vegeterian, get a salad, prob eat too much bread, and share a brownie sundae. Ahhh maybe not. I don't know. Will see.

So my sis-in-law sent me this and it really eased my mind:
How long after implantation bleeding can I expect a positive pregnancy test? "Implantation" refers to the embryo attaching itself to the uterus. Sometimes women experience spotting or even light bleeding as the embryo burrows deep into the lining. (Some don't; either is normal.) This process can happen in a day, but in some cases, takes a full 4 days for the embryo to completely attach. Implantation generally occurs between 6-12 days following ovulation/conception, with the majority (over 80%) occurring between 8-10 days past ovulation (DPO.)
Once implantation is complete, the embryo begins producing hCG, the pregnancy hormone. It usually takes about 2-4 days for the implanted embryo to begin producing hCG at a high enough level to be detected by a sensitive pregnancy test. So, if you have experienced spotting or bleeding, and you believe it may be related to implantation, you should probably wait about 2-4 days to test (using a sensitive, early-detection test that measures at 25 mIU/mL or lower. If you are using a test that is less sensitive, allow more time. See the HPT Overview for a list of various HPT sensitivity levels.) It is possible to experience a negative test at this point and still be pregnant; if so, wait another couple of days to allow the hCG to build up in your system to a level high enough to be detected, and test again.
Pheww! So it appears for now the bleeding has just stopped. So this little bugger has taken 3 days to implant! I will wait til Friday to test now. That will give my body 2 1/2 days after implantation to get that hcg up. Most likely won't get a positive til Saturday now. But at least its looking up, and it appears I may be having a positive weekend!
I just came across a study that says it was PROVEN that a women carrying a female fetus has higher hcg level than those carrying males. This could mean that women carrying females are able to detect pregnancy earlier. Tomorrow I am 11dpo -- if I have to wait much longer for my bfp I am scared I am having a boy. I know with all my other pregnancies I got late bfp's (other than my ht pregnancy with twin girls which was an early bfp at 10dpo).
Do any of you ladies recall -- What day past ovulation did you get your first bfp with your boys??
I was 14 or 15 dpo with my ds but that was a clear blue test that was to be used from day of af and it was so faint but i think i did get a earlier bfp this time around because the digi was saying 2-3 weeks day of expected af... who knows tho back then what would of happened if i used a frer
I got my BFP at 8dpo with my twins and 11dpo with ds3. With my Sept pregnancy it was 9 dpo, but I don't know what my angel's gender was. This time I got my BFP at 10dpo.

hopeanddream-Yes! Getting very excited! I didn't o on my own this month, so I think I am randomly going to take the prover to try and get my period starting on the 4th, day after ds1's b-day, which I have to take for 10 days, then I will hopefully get my af a day or so after that, then clomid on days 5-9. So, I may not even o until April after it's all added up! I didn't O until cd 21 before! If it all goes down roughly the same that is like, April 4th!
With my son, it was 13 dpo and very faint. I didn't get as tired or as sick as I am right now.
With this new pregnancy, it was 10dpo.
:think: My temp went down this morning, 10 dpo. I'm gutted. I really felt pregnant. I had abandoned the diet during the 2ww cos I was so sick of it and so naively confident.
I had been doing the IG diet and only discovered this site during this attempt so I've to start my research all over again now and jump-start in.

I am so sorry girls for the bfn and temp drop. I have also fudged up the diet a bit in my 2ww.
11dpo and bfn this morning. Not sure I expected any different yet since the bleeding only stopped yesterday, but I was hoping for a surprise.
Now I am freaked out that if I am pregnant its a boy, cause it took so long to implant and as is, the soonest I would get a bfp is 12dpo - tho probably not til 13 or 14. My temp was still high this am, 98.46 - so that is positive. Al my gf's that have girls got their bfp's earlier than af was due. I'll be getting it when af is due, if I get it at all. I am not starting off with good signs.

Should I go get a blood test this morning? I would have the results by 4pm this afternoon (eastern time). I know, I am the most impatient person ever!
I am 11dpo -- says ff. Is that soon enough to pick up the hcg in my blood? The implantation bleeding (if that is what it was, tho it 100% appeared to be) only stopped yesterday. There is a reason ht patients have to wait til 14dpo to have their blood taken. But at 14dpo they like to see your blood level over 100. So even if mine was 100 minimum on Saturday, it should be over 30 at least today. It just has not reached my urine ****** yet? Why am I obsessing -- because I want to eat normal again that is why.
I am truly driving myself and probably all of you crazy!!

And I was just thinking, af is due Sunday. So FRER says it can detect 6 days before a missed period at the earliest -- that would be yesterday.
And today is only 5 days before my missed period so its not unusual that it would still be a bfn.
The box says most will get a bfp on 4 days before missed period. So here is to hoping for a bfp tomorrow - although it would still only be 1.5 days after spotting ended. I can still hope.

hi all well im gutted took a frer this morning and BFN the clearblue yesterday was a false positive, im not even sure i ovulated as my temps are a mess, does anyone know how long baby can take to implant ???
Little Miss, remember that temping on Clomid is not reliable - can someone find that thread for me, it was about a week and a half ago and people were comparing notes on their Clomid temps??
Baby takes 7-10 days to implant and it can take a couple days after that to make enough HCG for a pg test to implant. Also, sometimes your urine is just too diluted to detect the hormone in the pee even if it's present in your blood. Not to offer false hope but just so you know that one BFN does not always mean you're not pg.

Well i was ill last night throat felt like i was swallowing razor blade, headache etc so went bed early couldnt sleep tho, got few sharp pinching pains in lower right abdomen. Woke up feeling pants but i have perked up. But when sat on sofa few hours ago got sharp pinching pains in my left lower abdomen. Literally only lasted few seconds but my lower back been aching today also. Had alot worse than this last month and was convinced i was pg but wasnt so wont read too much into it.

my temps on my last 3 clomid cycles were all a breeze though so i was expecting the same i think, thanks il try and stay positive, AS do you know anything about the idea that PFP is talking about, that boys take much longer to get a BFP with then girls do ?? i got a BFP with my DS2 at 9dpo !

The study is true but the numbers are average, meaning that there are definitely many, many people out of the box. Many women having girls can still have low numbers and boys still have high numbers. Also, if you read the essay (again posted on that thread) you will see that the numbers are roughly the same at 14 & 15dpo. They don't start to show significant differences til 18, 19 & 20dpo. So truly, when one gets their bfp has no baring on the gender of the embryo, since we all usually get our bfp on or by 14-15dpo.
Its the numbers a week from there that showed a difference.
Stay strong. It is still so early -- you are only 9dpo yes? I am 11 and still bfn but I have high hopes I should see a positive by Saturday or Sunday. Believe me I know how hard the waiting game is, but it does take up to 4-5 days after implantation is complete to get a bfp. Hang in there.
