I did the diet for a good 3-4 months and cut out a lot to make it as strict as i could. I also took baby aspirin (3x per week) and folic acid (1600 per day). I drank loads of diet coke (which i'd cut out with all my other pregnancies cause of the caffine) probably about 3-4 2litre bottles per week and squash with asparatame in it. I used rephresh 3 days before O. I took fiber (chitosan) with my main meal every day too. My husband also took calcium, magnesium, cranberry and LR. We did do FR starting cd3 but we did also have multiple attempts (i think we started dtd at least 4-5 days before O) but with the FR it really limited how much came out.
For me, as i hadn't got pregnant in previous cycles from one attempt, i decided the multiple attempts thing was the first to give up on my sway as in my opinion it swayed the least (most people i know with baby girls have had sex more than once a month) and i wanted to keep everything else in for a cycle or two but still wanted to get pregnant before i started to cheat on the diet (which i did really strictly as i conceived all three of my boys whilst loosing a lot of weight on pretty much a low cal empty carb diet - however, this time i cut out pretty much all vegetables and cheese / dairy).
I did also take vitex and sp 3 cycles before the clomid (as i hadn't intended to take the clomid, i took it purely for swaying reasons after i'd read a lot about it) but didn't catch those months.
To be honest, i beat myself up a lot about my sway, as a few of my lovely friends on here will tell you, especially after my bfp. I wanted it to be perfect and got really annoyed with myself when i saw one or two with a better sway (competitiveness i know - typical boy mom) but at the end of the day i did my best. I put myself through so much the months i swaying and i really did try as hard as i could. In the end i'm not sure if it worked or if i got lucky but thanks to god, atomic and the makers of clomid for me it worked, i hope it does for you too x
Don't think like that, whatever the outcome he will not see you as a failure! He look at you with the same pure amazement that i'm sure he has looked at you with with all of your other boys for creating a beautiful healthy perfect baby. My hubby had a preference but i genuinely think he would have loved whatever we had, his disappointment with ds3 was momentary.
On the other hand out of the twins in our group of girls we have 2 lots of boy/girl and a lot of girl/girl. You also need to remember that a lot of the girls that took the clomid needed it (which mean't it didn't sway girl as strongly for them). You had a good change at g/g but to some extent a better chance at the remaining little one being a girl as they are usually the stronger embryos (unless that an OWT but i seem to have read it a lot).
I understand you not being hopefully as i know i'm a fine one to talk but as you kept telling me, you had a great sway and stand a good chance (and you were right!)
Thank u. Just being silly today. I think it was all that looking into gender scans

I also want to add Mum23 that our third boy was a surprise and I was scared the whole time my husband would be disappointed and the man laughed so hard when he was born and Daddy saw it was a boy and he smiled all day because he loves his family and I am sure your hubby will be the same way.....and BTW my hubby has ALWAYS desperately wanted a daughter too. :) That's why I am not afraid to probably make boy #4 with the guy. :fami01:
Mrs P = congratulations on your little girl! What was your sway?
Pumpkin = FWIW, I conceived DD1 whilst taking clomid and being on a strict girl diet! I have PCO (not the full syndrome or side effects) I got pg the first month of taking 50mg days 2-6.
